I can't believe the audacity of German Doner Kebab Hull! After being a loyal customer for a year, I ordered my usual Doner Quesadilla, only to find it drowned in sauce and onions, as clear as day in the picture I took. When I dared to express my dissatisfaction to the guy at the counter, Akshay Kumar or whatever his name was, he had the nerve to shout at me! He rudely insisted that I either accept the poorly made quesadilla or leave it. The lack of respect and terrible customer service left me seething with anger. I stormed out, leaving that abomination of a quesadilla behind. Never again will I set foot in that place!!!!!!

I have been eating from german donner since they opened their branch in East ham london in 2018 . today i had donner qasadila paid £6 for greasy toasted tortilla wrap with few chunks of chicken and onion. one of the terrible food i have ever had from this plece . it better to close it down if you can’t serve proper food. and your staff akshay need to learn how to speak with customers. avoid at all cost

Way better than your average bog standard takeaway kebab. The breads are nice and fresh and generously filled with quality meats/salad/veg etc, really nice flavours. Good service and clean well kept eating area. Lamia did a fab job :)

Very identical kebab to that in Germany

First try of GDK and will definitely be back again. I had the veggie kebab meal and really enjoyed all the flavours. The yogurt sauce had a lovely dill flavour and the salad was all really fresh. The bread was also really fresh and crisp. A bit messy to eat but I guess that's part of the experience and it was all delicious. It was also really easy to order and customize the order. You get a very good size portion and it is reasonably priced. I was also really pleasantly surprised that there is table service so you pick up a number when you order and they bring it direct to your table. Our server Lamia was really friendly

I rated it in the past a bad score but now they have perfect spicy sauce and I'll go all the time now It's gorgeous

Amazing food, friendly staff, nice & clean, I often went there but this time I try their garlic and chocolate waffles bread it’s so tasty highly recommended.

Nice decor, toilets are in extremely poor condition. Food is barely warm and some staff have a language barrier when trying to order/discuss.

I've been in at lunchtime today, and I wont be going back. The female member of staff who served me had a bad attitude, couldnt speak a word of English and refused to take my ten pound note because it had a slight tear in it. I eventually managed to o order my food and get seated. I was waiting five to ten minutes although the place was empty, I stood up, the female member of staff said your food is coming. To my amazement, I then saw a male member of staff stood there with his hand raking around in my kebab with no gloves on ! I went straight to the counter, challenged the staff and told them I don't want the food and I want my money back. They offered me another one but I will never b returning. If I had the chance I would rate them zero.

If I could give a zero I would have paid for extra meat barely any extra came waitress was rude and telling me I had chips when non came out very poor

Nothing to do with a German kebab, small for the price, no typical kebab sauce in it but a super hot, indefinable sauce. Meat was squished on top and then only salad in the bread. Order took super long. 15 minutes in the fast food restaurant…

I’ve been in the restaurant and I must give it 10/10 but getting it delivered by Uber is a different matter. It was half hour late in which the food was freezing and items missing even though I spent nearly £40. The Uber driver lied by saying he tried to contact me in which he never at all, I had to find him because on the tracker he was on the wrong street. He told me then to calm down and take pills. I just with that GDK would use a different delivery service

Just spent 25.00 for food to go in the bin as it arrived stone cold and inedible. 1st time ordering and will be the last. Don't waste your money imo.

Just ordered from just eat. Food arrived stone cold. Cheesy chips were plain chips with a tiny pot of cold cheese sauce. Why use a delivery service where someone delivers hot food on a push bike. Total waste of money and ended up in the bin.

Anything is about what you like. For me is important the meat to be without any spices ,if I want I can order a sauce and the next important thing for me personally is the thickness of the meat. They have that professional slicers ,not the usual knife and the meat is very thin nicely roasted. Small details for few ,important for me. Highly recommend, I eat on this kebab shop all over the country from London to York ,Leeds or Manchester.

Been twice now and ordered at the counter. Both times I have asked for no sauce or salad in a doner wrap, and both times I have had both salad and sauce in there. Waste of money!

Usually all restaurants going down hill but this one it’s going up , food is better than ever

Didn't appear busy, waited 30 minutes for food whilst flies flew around. Manager was very apologetic and gave free drinks for the wait.

They charge you now for the very small dip of sauces which it was free. The service at this branch is very poor, the saff are very rude.

The food was cold the kebabs had more sauce and vegetables in than anything else .All 4 spring rolls where missing off my order,when I called the shop the lady on the phone asked for used to go to the shop to pick up the spring rolls or next time you order you can ask for the missed spring rolls ,I will not be ordering from here again it was a complete mess.

Super friendly staff, but the food is what made it worth the dine in. They have a huge range of low calorie options. But I ordered the plant based Donna meat in the gym box and I can’t say I have enjoyed a plant based meat more. Too good!!!

I had never been to GDK ever before and I was on a trip to Hull for the day. One of the places I planned to eat was closed so I decided to try this out. I was not sure at all what I wanted to eat and one of the lovely staff members helped me out and I eventually had an amazing tasting Quesadilla Meal which contained fries and a canned drink. A first impression that I will never forget about! Amazing experience here!
