German Doner Kebab in Manchester

Ordered online. Was not notified by the app or the staff that it was ready. Arrived cold as it was probably sat around for 20 mins. The lady who served me my order said nothing, just stood around looking gormless. Her two colleagues spent most of their time chatting and having a laugh. Kebab was okay to be fair. Would go to a normal local kebab house in future as the staff in this branch couldn't care less.

Awful service. Ordered online and waited as only one member was serving at the till. Didn't pay attention to the queue of people who as myself stood just to collect ready orders she proceeded to serve walk in customer. Quality of the Kebab not the best especially considering the price.

3 employees working inside, still waited 30 min, doesn’t care at all, they are busy to meet everybody inside, doesn’t recommend at all, food is nice though, but lacking in service.

Late night snack with my youngest on Saturday. Ordered 2 mix kebabs, one witb extra meat. The food was hot, fresh amd the curry Fries were excellent. Really good consistent quality food.

The kebab is solid and good (not close as Berlin) but they need to change the oil in the deepfryer a bit more often. Was Rancid (Had a meal on Saturday Evening 6 october)

Requested extra sauce, the man at the till said he would. Their version of Extra sauce is less than what it normally contains which is crazy as it happens every time. Food is decent with the sauce but without it it's not even worth eating

What happened to the German kebab we knew when it first opened? The three sauces that used to be included with the menu were removed, and we said nothing, but now the mini portions for a kebab priced at £10.98 is outrageous! The taste is still very good, but do you think it's acceptable to serve a sandwich with so little meat for that price? I will come back, but if this happens again, I won’t return, and that will be final

Got the OG wrap + regular curry fries OG wrap (chicken) using a three+ deal for £5. The chicken Donner Tasted good, wrap was big but 50% of it was filled with salad and the pitta bread was nice. Curry fries were very disappointing as I was shocked at how little fries I got, when they charge £2.50 for it! There were a total of 12 fries in the box! They were standard fries without a lot of seasoning. Very annoyed with the app, kept crashing on me and couldn't add another payment or have the option to pay on collection. Had to order via app to use the three+ voucher Definitely avoiding the fries at gdk if I go back. Would get the OG wrap again, if there are decent deals like the three+ voucher

GDK in a different country tastes different, why weren't there any plates to eat in ? Why you can order dink by monitor and after this crew speak with you and ask about changing your mind. Only coca cola in bottle , why and of course not available ? I don't like canned drinks

The food is served hot and delicious, I recommend to try the new OV kebab which gives you the experience of meat even though its vegan and staff member Bobby was very patient enough to explain the menu,great experience

Place is nice but the chefs are making food with their bare hands atleast put gloves on. The bread is small and different compared to the original bread used at other sites food was cold overall hygiene wasn't great. I'd love to visit again but all these issues make it highly unlikely. £35 down the drain

If I could put 1 star I would avoid at all cost food came not even edible felt vile after attempting to eat it the whole meal was like it had been left overnight aswell as the bread being hard it’s all like rubber waste of money

I would say this place is best in every way. Their customer service is excellent. Treat you with respect and make your order ASAP. Sitting arrangements are cool. The atmosphere is quite shiny and young. I like their sitting and light arrangements. Restaurant situated in a nice place. One thing is missing, which is parking you have to find parking in street which is bit difficult sometimes but you can park in the sainsbury's and walk from there to the restaurant. I would like to go there again and recommend it to every food lover.

Ordered from Deliveroo. Selected option for separate salads but instead none was given. Barely any sauce on the donner kebab and panini. Donner was undercooked and looked very pale. There was more bread than kebab. Not worth the money. 2/10 rating at most.

Because of a bad experience at a branch in London I was invited to take 20 diners to GDK fallowfield , Sunil looked after the orders and served everything quickly and correctly . Everything in the boss box meal fresh and tasty . Ok I won’t say it’s the best Doner out there but it’s pretty decent and a much better fast food option than certain Bruges or chicken chains . Maybe everything varies from branch to branch but Ahmad and his team did look after us very well, and this appears to be a good branch of GDK.

Not impressed. Food had no taste. Bread was hard. No effort in making paninis. Again bread was super hard. They put from little to no meat even stingy in adding sauce . What you will see most in the kebab is salad. Can't compete with german doner kebab in oxford road. They are the best

the service is not bad. But this place gave me food poisoning for the first time in years, it was the only I thing I ate that afternoon/evening, had nothing else. I had the vegetarian option. Need to make sure your refrigerating/storing your stock properly and double checking expiration dates

Best Kebab around. Anyone who says different has either not tried it, either has no clue. Suggested any time. Edit: I don't know what happened to this place. Went to order a takeaway. Ordered OG extra chicken with extra yogurt, garlic and cheese sauce (deliberately avoiding spicy sauce). Ended up having only spicy sauce. I'm allergic to chilly. Thanks for the night at A&E.

No way I pay £7 for a doner wrap on its own, overpriced cheating sandwich hence more than half of the sandwich filled with salad and only on top there’s few raw pieces of doner just for show. Not recommend at all

Very small portion of Doner, they are very quite that’s why doner was overcooked and very thin, they should visit other shops to check the portion size.

Food portions gone really bad at this place… £8 for a kebab that has barely at meat inside, was eating just bread at some points… I thought maybe was just a one off but went back 2 weeks later and got another kebab, again with very little meat inside…. Won’t be returning here
