German Doner Kebab in South Lanarkshire

My first time ordering from German Donor Kebab. My son's chips were freezing cold & my large cheesy chips were missing. Trying to resolve this is just difficult. The Just Eat app allows you to report the meal is missing but not part of it. I called the restaurant & pressed the option for just eat delivery, then it tells you to go onto the app. Absolutely pointless.i just wanted my chips delivered. I'm frustrated and if it's this difficult to resolve a problem, I'll no longer order use the app.

Ive ordered boss box, and it wass missing fries and spring rools, tried to call restaurant, but they not picking up, disappointed

Food freezing cold. Asked for large flaming fries and large cheese fries. Order arrived with freezing cold plain small sized chips. No sauces came with order. Order late. Very poor.

The food took an astonishing length of time to be delivered and was freezing cold to the touch on arrival. I tried to return my order to the driver but he wouldn't accept the goods, instead telling me to raise a complaint with just eat, who thought a few pound refund was substantial. Absolute joke, and I won't be using GDK or Just Eat again.

Absolutely phenomenal meal. Everything tasted so fresh. Kebab meat cut perfectly, not too thick. Chips perfect amount of spice. Spring rolls really tasty. All members of staff were polite. Venue was very clean. Meal cost £20. Worth every penny. Will be back to this store. Best food experience I’ve had for a while. 👍👍

I got a wrap meal and 2 beef spring rolls... I realise now I should have just got the boss box for better value and you get extra sauces and sides but nevertheless, I still enjoyed it! filled to the absolute brim and I love the spring rolls!

what a waste better getting your kebab out of any Indian cheap sauces portion was tiny trying to work out where the extra meat I ordered is as this waste of money.

My food was cold by the time it reached my house despite it being delivered early, the hash browns i ordered were rock solid making them inedible. Honestly disappointed and won’t be ordering here for some time.

Never received my order and the restaurant are no help

I waited almost two hours to get my order. and when I got my order which was already cold I was disappointed because of the quality of the food made. which additionally did not look like in the pictures and the size is not impressive either. for this price in other places I would have more and certainly on time. I do not recommend

kebap was delicious, one of the best. let down by chocolate bread. it was mint chocolate which I absolutely hate. Should be information about it.

Food was just warm, took 20+ mins longer than advertised to arrive. Not the drivers fault as the time from leaving the restaurant to coming to my address was quick enough.

Food is well over two hours late, and freezing cold. Called the restaurant and they told me to refund through JustEat, and I’ve been offered a fraction of what I paid.

Tidy and quiet place in the evening. Food quite good for a chain and affordable... But you can find better deals using their app instead of ordering machines. Machine doesn't have all the positions like meal deals. There was only few things we disliked. Kid burger was bit soggy and the baby change room toilet was absolutely disgusting. Toilet paper flying everywhere. I know it's not employees who done that but toilets should be inspected more often.

25.99 wrap meal for two. Not worth the 5.99 never mind 25.99. You get 1 small portion of cheap French fries between 2ppl not even warm and 1 tub of sauce the size of a 50p to make the "cheesey fries" yourself. Donner spring rolls were the size of a clipper lighter! Wraps not great, donner tastes like frozen, not fresh, or its undercooked & cut off too soon. Cheese bites frozen & deep fried, barely any filling left in them. Also stone cold. Wouldn't recommend. Will not be using GDK again.

Went here after a couple of months and i guess the whole staff was changed. When I placed the order on the kiosk, I requested to get a fresh lamb donner from the oven/grill and the lady at the front ensured, it would be. When i received the order on my table, it had only a few chunks of cold lamb and chicken while the 60% was fully filled with salad. They need to be more generous with the quantity of meat to match the meal cost plus take the customers request seriously. Also, the guy who was preparing the donner, was cleaning the floor with a mop and started making meals with the same bare hands which isn't really great. The kiosk machine wasn't printing receipts, upon asking the front counter staff, I was asked "Do you really need one?". The American Express card isn't accepted at this branch. I'd rather travel to Glasgow or Stirling to enjoy the meal at least they put the customer's request on priority.

Ordered two box meals (one large meat) and both came in same size box with next to no meat at all in the meal. Added pickles (I counted 3 for the additional 79p!!), feta (2 squares for 79p). Ordered started off to be delivered by 6-45 latest and ended up 7-20. MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT!! VERY POOT VALUE FOR MONEY. Literally no meat in the box. Please explain how a box meal with extra beef (£2.99) can be in the same size box as a normal one! Terrible experience and I would NOT RECOMMEND. POOR

The food was cold and extremely oily taste like warm salami. The prices in comparison with McDonald's. Portion sizes is small but because it's so oily you can only eat half the portion anyway so that's alright. The service was good though the goal behind the counter was very nice. Won't be back but good luck if you go

ordered 3 wraps all extra meat . They came standard size. ordered large fries, they came regular size. £50 for that is a disgrace.

Every time I'm in Hamilton I always end up in this place. The restaurant is always very clean as are the rest rooms. The food is always tasty, it's never greasy. I'm never kept waiting for an excessive amount of time and the service has always been spot on. I do wish the portions were a tad more generous but that's me just being greedy really. It's a kebab that's acceptable to eat sober and during day!

Absolutely no value for the money, I have been here in Hamilton few good times, I don’t want to sound stingy, however for a lunch £15+, just a standard size wrap 2 spring rolls, a ayran with 3 sauces. Location is fine, always empty, food okay ish, but I notice that every time I get there gets smaller and more expensive 😂😂😂, I will definitely be going somewhere else for a lunch, you can even find all you can eat at this price point. At the end of the day it’s a kebab, hopefully the management will take this the right way and do some lunch offers to bring people in, ( its totally empty, every day of the week )

Food was cold. Paid extra and ordered large cheesy fries and got regular normal fries. Should have listened to the reviews cos it sounds like it happens a lot, it's not difficult to read an order slip! Burger was ok when reheated but won't be back.

I don’t know why any negative reviews , I got the boss box and all I can say is wow amazing portion the kebab was well packed ! Lovely chips would defoe reccomend will be back fir sure thanks guys 👍🏻

It was my first time in Hamilton and it was wonderful. Good place to stop by. Good environment and very open space to sit. View from sitting is great. I ordered one Box with chicken and it arrives in time . It was perfect and hot. Quality was great . Chicken was amazing and enough portion for one person.Their staff was friendly and keep asking if i need anything. Impressed with service and Food. Looking forward to visit again. ✌️

For £21 for a small kebab, very small fries and a can of coke was a bit of a joke to be fair. I got the Og one mixed thinking it would be bigger, ordered cheesy fries got plain and about 20 fries in total. I never complain. But I had to make myself a sandwich after a 20 quid take away. Nothing wrong with the food itself as such. Sorry.

Stopped off for dinner with the family we all really enjoyed our meals. The restaurant is spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Really enjoyed the new plant based kebab. Will definitely be back

There's one thing that really bothered me. There's an Asian lady working there ( pakistani) who gets too friendly, especially with men. As a Muslim, this kind of behavior is uncomfortable and inappropriate. It’s not right for her to be so casual and chatty with male customers, especially when she’s serving families. It would be better if she kept things more professional and reserved like other staff members. Her loud talking and laughing with her coworkers also makes it hard to enjoy the meal. Hopefully, the staff can be a bit more mindful of this in the future. Other than that everything is great except this pathetic lady

Food was cold and soggy. The stuff which came with the boss box were stuffed into small compartments which meant the chips were crushed/mashed up and the chilli bites too, gutted for the price we paid for it as it wasn’t cheap for 2 takeaway meals.

It was a quiet sunday evening, place looked clean and well maintained. Food was amazing and staff was welcoming. The lady over till had good suggestions over the menu and helped well to choose best from vegetarian options.

Got what was meant to be a large chips with what was meant to be a cheese sauce (Came in a little tub). The size was about the same as a McDonald’s kids portion at double the price. Really disappointed and won't go back.

Looked promising to begin with, the place was clean and it was nice and quiet. Walked in and spent some time messing with both the serve service machines. Asked if they were working and was told yes. I pointed out they wasn't and they were both reset. I placed the order and then the card machine wasn't working. So that was fixed. I needed a receipt and there was no reciept paper in the machine. Although the lady on the till did print me one from another till. Asked for my strawberry milkshake to arrive after my food. Was told the machine was broken. Asked for a refund but no proof could be provided it was processed and she couldn't do it on the till. Got my food and it was mostly lettuce inside the bread not much chicken. Not consistent at all. I went to another branch and it was fantastic so though I'd give it another go. Won't be bothering coming to this branch again. Just unbelievable a chain like this can be so amateurish. Waste of 20 quid. UPDATE: I was not refunded and the lady behind the till lied when she said it had been completed. I would not recommend this branch.

Never order from here if you’re hungry as it will never arrive. Give false delivery time when ordering and just keep changing time every 5 mins. Was supposed to be here in 30 mins. 2 hours later not arrived. Doesn’t matter if food may be nice as it has to arrive to eat eat. Can’t call restaurant as cowards don’t answer. Can’t call just eat as they don’t want to know. Now I’m starving but need to wait 5 days for a refund. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place at all costs
