Kai Xin in South Lanarkshire

I always enjoy the food from Kai Xin. It is nicely seasoned and well cooked. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Food not too hot after only 2 minute journey home. It's made quickly, but I don't know if that's good or bad.

Have ordered a few times from here and it's been not bad as we always stuck to what we new, but decided to try something different tonight, ordered sliced beef satay with the choice of rice or chips on just eat.. Nothing said and double checked about one container, it came in one container with rice with clumps of beef not nicely sliced the way I thought, pretty fatty and not too good. Also ordered home made spring rolls(huge filled with bamboo shoots and 2/3 bits of ham) no other veg at all.. Sent it back when delivery driver came back with satay skewers as the main I got my daughter wouldn't eat.. Dissapointed all in all.. Also this isn't a cheap Chinese.. Expect to get better quality..

Ordered chicken balls, chips, rice curry sauce and singapoure thin chow mein. Never received my chips, or chow main. Food tasted like rubber. Wont be back.

It was good, but the sauces are strange now, I used to like the old sauces, now it's like gravy sauce and tomato ketchup sauce, kinda strange, but it's good, maybe I'm weird cause I notice differences, even in rice.

Fav Chinese place. Takes a very long time for delivery though. Usually between 1-2 hours to castlemilk.

Used to be the best Chinese takeaway in rutherglen might be new owners but not as good when they first opened.

I have ordered from here through just eat several times now and I can honestly say that they make the best chicken curry I’ve ever had in a long time! The food always arrives fast and piping hot and delicious. The chicken curry has a generous size portion with huge chunks of chicken breast beautifully cooked it just melts in your mouth 🤤😋 The honey chicken wings are also delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant. Food is delicious every time 🤩☺️

Ordered a lot of different dishes from a few different restaurants and I would highly recommend Kai Xin coming from down south where we are spoiled with good restaurants I would have to give the service and staff a massive thank you for the delicious food that we had from your restaurant and will be recommending it to my friends once again delicious food Thank you

Terrible, Ordered their Cantonese spring rolls with dipping sauce; a thimble of sauce accompanied by rolls dripping with grease (Inedible). Also ordered a beef chopsuey which came without the rice pictured and contained no vegetables!! Don't bother to call them to query they had been paid by card and didn't care.

Best Chinese I've had in Glasgow. Portions were a decent size and the food tasted amazing. Definitely found a regular!

Food was as delicious as I remembered. Staff were great and my parents loved it. Their first try of Vietnamese curry and the were not disappointed. Great value for money too

Used to love this place until I found chicken in my salt and chilli chips, which as a non meat-eater was distressing and completely ruined my meal. Definitely won't be ordering from them again.

Great Chinese takeaway. Fast service and delicious food. Try the mixed meat in Black Pepper sauce and the chicken curry rolls are amazing!

Very tasty, value for money. Would have been 5 stars but took one off because estimated time of delivery was an hour and a half, when we phoned after 2 hours our food was still not prepared and we ended up collecting it ourselves

Ive been eating from this place for a very long time and to date there food is by far the best in the area,its fresh,tastey,served piping hot and the counter staff are very nice.

Ordered some food from here from just eat. The food never came and I put it down to it being rather close to closing time, but I was still charged. Called the next day when they opened and they lied and said they tried to deliver the food twice and that they attempted to call me several times. Refused to do anything about it even after acknowledging they hadn't delivered the food and told me to take it up with just eat ... that was the owner btw. Can't say it was a positive experience and of course will never order from them again. Would be a strong 0 from me. At least one star is necessary hence rating of 1.

Called ahead for a Chinese takeaway for my husband and on collecting his meal I then decided on a "snack size" meal with sweet and sour chicken balls (4)/boiled rice in 1 container for £5.40p. Quick service.Just the right size portion for me. Good flavours on everything. Decent portions and value for money.

Great food, never disappointed.

Awful service. Ordered food around 10pm and was confirmed for 12:05pm however never arrived. Called restaurant next day to request they refund/actually send order and was advised to phone just eat for a refund as the driver stated he tried to deliver at 12:30pm and so left. 1.this is literally impossible unless he had went to a different address/did not chap the door as we purposely waited and listened for door. 2. Is 25 mins late anyways. Called just eat and advised restaurant had not ‘tagged’ the order properly and so we couldn’t even get a refund. Do not order from this place, did not receive food and wasn’t was not able to even get a refund.

Waited three hours for a delivery, paid for Just eat, only for it to go to an old address and then got a £1.50 change for the delivery driver at the door never sgsim

Absolute joke.. was told a 2 hour wait after 3 hours I phoned them was told at least another hour

The order came late The pancake roll were ok but expensive at £3.80 The sweet n sour chicken balls (1 dish) were horrible - 2 of the chicken balls were burnt and there was so little sauce it was unpleasant to eat - ended up in bin

I ordered a salt and chilli munchy box and a box of over salted chips with some banana fritters and one piece of chicken halfway through eating the foods I noticed some hair are in the food as well the standards of this foods are very low. Overpriced as well for a Chinese. Dragons way is a good Chinese there around the corner and much better.

Ordered a chow mien with soy sauce got BBQ sauce instead called them to resolve issue and was told tough I will not be ordering again first and last also I do not recommend as the food was very bland and was thrown in the bin not fit for a rabid dog

I wouldn’t bother, we’ve been waiting almost 2 hours for this delivery.

This is the first time we have ordered from Kai Xin, and it was without doubt the best Chinese meal we’ve had in a very long time 👌🏻 The food was to a very high standard (the salt & chilli chips were unreal 😋) and the portion sizes were huge! Will definitely be using this great little takeaway again 👍🏻

Best Chinese take away in Rutherglen

The food was delivered an hour And 20 mins after JUST EAT said it would be. The food was so cold it had to be microwaved and the delivery person asked for £2 more than the online quote. I have previously given this place a 5☆review when collecting from the restaurant and the food is very good if you collect. Just don't bother with home delivery as it appears that cash over the counter is the way to go. And I guess being a loyal local who usually collects doesn't transfer to a lazy local who'd thought Just Eat could be able to do the same service. It's a nice restaurant with good food but only if you collect.

Shrimp chow mein with oyster sauce is amazing

If I can give a zero star I would. I have ordered from this place quite alot but my last 2 meals have been awful and the cheeky cow that answered the phone wasn't interested in giving a fresh meal or money back. Won't be ordering from here again ever.

Ordered breast of chicken chow mein last week with soy sauce and was lovely. Ordered same again tonight and quite honestly it was disgusting and not fit for human consumption. The "chicken breast" was not anywhere near chicken never mind breast. Slimy and a very strange texture. No soy sauce was delivered either but the fact the chicken was so dodgy concerns me. Never again and hopefully everyone that sees this does the same. Disgusting waste of money that my cats don't even wan🤢🤢t

First time trying this place and definitely the last. Ordered salt & chilli chips that I’ve had many tines before from other places but from here they are tasteless and acted more as a laxative than a snack. I was disappointed as I had heard good reviews about this place. I would rather a tin of Pedigree Chum than eat from here again Disappointed

Only got a 1 star as there is no option for less waited over an hour for a delivery then when it comes it was freezing cold and discusting

We live in EK and happily travel to pick up a takeaway from Kai Xin. The best Chinese I've been to and by far the most reasonably priced too.

This is the nicest chinese food I have had, this is the third time I have had food from here, what delicious cuisine. The food is ready when they say it will be. Highly recommended ☺

Simple order of chips chicken balls and curry sauce. Curry sauce requested in a seperate container for additional charge yet this was ignored and the food came in one box soggy and late.

Foods really good and always served with a smile , prices very reasonable and I would definitely recommend it to anyone
