German Doner Kebab in Birmingham

Food arrived but it was stone cold. And barely any filling in the kebab. Driver delivered my food in an iceland bag, no proper attempt to keep it carm.

when order was placed delivery was quoted as 20.55 but the delivery time kept changing to later and later when it eventually arrived the fries were cold and needed to be microwaved

The main food item (kebab) was cold and hard.

I received the half-filled box, I waited more than 30 minutes for the order, I received the order as a package but I wanted to eat inside, next time I will go to another place

They give me half of the box empty. Every time as issue with the order. I'm eating here every Sunday because I like the product but the service is crap.

Must try the box, boss. The presentation was neat, good portions & very tasty. Will visit again soon.

I've eaten a lot of kebabs in my time and this has to be one of the nicest. Highly recommended the spicy fries 🍟 if you like a bit of heat. Staff really friendly too.

The Boss Box was - everything was all smashed up in the little bags with cheese sauce all over in the box, and the food was cold as the delivery was late. The veggie Kebab i thought it would be like Soya Kebab and not veggie burger cut up.

Food was top notch. Honestly best Donner I had after a long time..Ordered the food via self service terminal and I didn't realise i had to reserve table before I ordered (dine in). It was busy and I requested my table to be cleaned at it was messy, staff happily done that for me. I would recommend a basin towards the back wash your hands, as the toiles very smelly and needed cleaning. Overall experience was good and would definitely visit again.

Waiting time always pretty long on several occasions my kebab was half meat and half salad always soggy bottom of the bread so it falls apart. Staff serving orders not friendly at all

DONT ORDER ONLINE Ordered on uber eats and refused a refund. Food came freezing cold, covered in oil and everything soggy. Ordered mixed box and spring rolls. All had a nasty after taste afterwards. Couldnt eat the majority of it went in the bin. First and last time!

I came 11 pm ask to pay at cashier, he refuses he told me no order at the cashier.

Really bad music and very dirty. Not cleaned from night before. Blocked toilet and food waste everywhere. Someone just rubbing table's with a dirty cloth. 3 members of staff that just stepped over the crap all over the floor

I’ve visited here before and had standard takeaway service, nothing out of the ordinary. Today, the workers had a right attitude and way of gossiping about other customers. The man at the counter (whose name is said to be haris on the order receipt) in particular is what bothered me the most. It was clear the workers did not want to be there today in their service, to the point where the boss box was a boss BAG, when a stock of boxes could clearly be seen. The laziness of the staff today when people are paying for their food. It covered up the way that there was only a pinch full of fries inside the bossbag. I waited patiently at the counter to be served for the guy at the till to look at me as if I didn’t know ordering screens existed when I wanted to pay cash. Bread on my secret sauce burger was stale, the meat was standard. Poor service. Workers need to remember that this may not be the most glamorous job, but it’s paying their bills. Be nice or don’t be there. The food quality of gdk over the years has gone down, but customer service, the very face of the company shouldn’t be the reason why customers are unhappy. Can’t say I’ll be returning to that branch. If he worked in a more professional environment, he wouldn’t have got very far with that attitude

I never got to eat their food so I can't rate it. Service and atmosphere get 1 because my partner and their assistance dog were rudely asked to leave by staff. With no citation of why. We would have accepted "health and safety" or " we have a no animals policy" but we're simply met with "it's not allowed" in a rather untrained and unintelligent way. Of course we left and thankfully I had not yet paid for the order I was putting in so I cancelled it and left. I would advise the owners train their staff to better communicate and cite (no matter how simple) a valid reason. To avoid angering customers and potential customers. Leaving wasn't the problem. How we were spoken to was. I won't be coming to this establishment again and I will be advising people I know not to aswell. I will also be advising those who me and my partner talk with in the assistance dog training sphere to avoid this establishment as it is clearly unwelcome to them. We proceeded to go to Mc Donald's where they even offered the dog a bowl of water.

Wow, just wow. It's far better than in Germany! An absolute must for any kebab lover. The meat was juicy with a nice caramelization, and the veggies were fresh and crispy. The sauces? Totally optional, but very flavorful—an excellent choice!

I didn't like the food cold and the meat very salty I returned the samouna so they would put a salad in it and heat it. I asked for a round samouna with meat until I forgot to take pictures of it 😅 The place is large and there are plenty of seats. You can choose the wrong ham if you want to try something else

Like a Subway sandwiches, it's decent but nothing special. If you're in a pinch it's a great option but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Doner was thin, somewhat crispy and flakey. Maybe I got the last part as it was late and close to closing time but I have had a lot better from simple takeaways in brum. It's a nice place well set out and decorated.

Ordered a simple kids meal to go and they took about 25 minutes to get it to me as they put my finished order to the side without calling me and realized 10 minutes later that it was actually good to go. The cheese in the cheesy fries is just a watery sauce that they poured into my fries and drink The girl managing orders couldnt make the time to give out the already prepared orders to the delivery guys. Both people on the front kept making mistakes in knowing what was to go and what was to eat in, a lot of taking out from bags and repackaging

Was never disappointed with the food quality but today was a flop. Was in a rush, so ordered a gym box (no need to wait for the fries) which they claim comes with a salad. Watched the guys in the kitchen making it, bit of lettuce, cabbage and a bit of onion (apparently that’s a „salad”) and some cold dried out meet from the bottom of the rack (not even sliced freshly!). When I raised my issue with the person at the counter for the lack of salad or sauce she first told me that it’s under the meat, when I said it isn’t cuz I watched it being made she turned around and they added two thinnest half tomato slices I’ve ever seen. After trying the meat that tasted like cardboard I asked for a refund. May as well eat the box itself at this point. All that for a price of £7.49, absolute joke, better save your money.

First Time Trying GDK, visited the GDK in Birmingham New street, the Male that served me Mostafa was really helpful and patient, as id never been before so wasn't sure what to get, he explained what the different kids of meals were and came and checked if everything was ok, id recommend this place.

Worst place ever, foods oily; and everything tastes defrosted. Pretty sure a woman found a hair in her food while I was working there and the manager didn’t even seem to care. Not worth the price, don’t waste your money or your time

All the chefs don't use any gloves at all and touching everything.. also the chef was a Indian guy was very rude and looked me like he wanted to fight with me, just because I asked if my food was ready... This is appned just today 22/07/2024 in New street in Birmingham in the early afternoon.. really really not good at all, next time I have to call the security, very disgusting people.
