Delicious food, and nice portions too

Unfortunately food was cold and also no garlic pots that we had ordered.

extra portion was paid for, there was no way that was Large..!!!.. Food was Luke warm, Fries were all squashed. Very Poor indeed

Food was cold and there were no sauces at all, extra dry, Normally i enjoy GDK but today I was dissapointed.

The food was cold and out of the 4 kebabs ordered, only 2 came with a box. The kebabs and fries were placed in the same bag as the cold drinks, which obviously made the food cold.

Doesn't worth what we paid for , they just filled up with a lot of onions. You can't feel the tast of chicken at all . Very rude customer service. Rubbish food . Not worth it to get in .

Put cold drinks next to chips got cold chips

Delivery was perfect driver was polite and helpful. The burger was very soggy and almost inedible so threw 80% away. However the rest of the food was great

Food was stone cold we had to heat it to eat it, there was hardly any meat in the kebabs, it was full of salad & the delivery was 15-30 but arrived after 40

we ordered at 11:00 GMT. Estimated delivery time up to an hour!!! Then at 11:50 the delivery estimate changed to another 35 min with and arrival time of between 12:20 and 12:40. arrived at 12:25 pretty much cold & of poor quality. cannot recommend.

Food was cold, not worth the price either

I ordered a chicken kebab yesterday, the menu should write each ingredient in grams, not just the calories! Through the window I saw the person put his fingers through the bread/kebab crust to expand it to add the ingredients, after he wiped it on his pants! It's disgusting, can touch anything with bare hands, nose, hair, ass then food.that is not possible, they should wear gloves! When I asked for a refund, the very irritated cashier said that it's normal to put hand on the food and that's the shop's policy! She was very rude how she spoke ..the manager should have training with such people! I'm also going to file a complaint with the council because it doesn't deserve 5* ! This is not Vietnamese street food, infecting food with your bare hands.  I'll go there again and I'll keep complaining until all looks okay.

Wrong order. Ordered extra chicken but given beef over a soggy salad mush. All crammed into one box. Really poor quality. Tragic.

I LoVe GDK but this croydon branch broke my heart as the food was cold and when I complained to the staff they told me off instead of helping me I wouldn't recommend croydon GFK as the staff is extremely RUDE.

Horrible service! It was supposed to arrive in 30-40 mins and it took 1h30m. I had to make 2 phone calls to the restaurant to check about it and was told that the driver wasn’t there, when in the app it was stating otherwise. The food was super cold and one drink came wrong.

Usually I would appreciate a large amount of meat, but in this case… let’s just say quality over quantity. The meat (the key part of the kebab) was as bland as boiled potatoes without salt, and the fries were softer and nastier than a rat’s tail. The cheese didn’t help either, rather made it soggy. How can a kebab store not have enough seasoning or texture in their meat??? What’s the point of grilling them that way? Might aswell just grab some lemur meat from your local trash can. Additionally, eating the burger felt like biting into a stale foamy bun (non-burger textured bun) with an unpleasant amount of thin strips of bland meat. I’m not even sure it’s real meat. Might be beans, don’t know. Anyways, if you feel like you deserve a proper kebab/dinner, would recommend going somewhere else! On the other hand, the only positive thing I can bring out from the experience is the load of vegetables. Anyone on a veggie diet, come here! Veggies rule over meat and sauce.

Love GDK but usually arrives cold. a little zap in the microwave and all is good again.

Never had a problem before, but very disappointed this time. The food was cold and the kebab was extremely dry. Hopefully, by reading the reviews they will improve the service and go back to the nice job they were doing before.

Extremely disappointed. Ordered the food at 20:03pm and it arrived at 21:43. It was extremely cold and soggy which is so appalling to me as I haven’t seen such poor quality before. My daughter was left hungry for over an hour and then on top of that when the food did arrive it was not up to scratch. I had to report this as it’s so disappointing and I’m not sure when the next time I’ll order from here again will be.

Food was nice but wow... staff seemed constantly confused and annoyed with each other. Some people waited ages and orders were constantly mixed up with some very frustrated customers. And all customers could hear them getting annoyed with each other

The food was prepared 2 hours before delivery , there was no available drivers and instead making it fresh or keeping it warm they delivered everything cold after 2hours. Horrible service

Dopey other half ordered by accident from the Croydon although Sutton is just down the road. Didn’t take too long to arrive. Doner box was very small and not cooked well enough, chips were a bit rubbish, cheese sauce was jank tasting. Dorito burger was jank I did not like at all. Not value for money at all and quality and taste seemed like 4/10. I don’t think I will order ever again.

27/12/2024 approximately 9pm I went to dinner at German in Croydon and was very poorly served by a blonde woman who was there at the time. Her service was very rude to me, I also witnessed her poor service to other customers and some delivery men who were waiting to collect the order being humiliated by her.

Ordered an OG kebab and it came quick but was so cold. They probably made it ages ago and served it to me. It’s so pricey too for this cold sandwich. I asked the Bengali girl at the till if it’s meant to be cold and she just stared at me… I had it in other branches and it was never this cold.

The Quantity they give is really small. As compared to GDKs in London this one is not good. Not worth for the money they charged.

Pathetic food, ordered extra lettuce but there wereno single veggie, waste of money

Average good food but the chicken Doner was not as good as the beef. I would recommend it if you have missed Doner and want to try it once more. I hope that they think about hygiene once again and wear gloves or wash hands after smoking a cigarette outside. Because I saw one of the staff was smoking a cigarette outside before coming behind the desk to help handing out the food.

Customer Service is very poor and not responsible to the order is if late.

Worst ever experience as a regular customer . On the date of 15 december ordered my fav items we did not ewt nothing as we had a very buzy day and we wanted some gdk . I ordered for colection and went home without checking , that was the first mistake as one item was missing . As reaching home when i open the bag i saw the food is missing. Went back to the shop with the food as it was cold already and had to return it so i can get my full order when i reach there a woman without uniform told me that all my food is there and that i have ordered only 2 items , i showed tje receipy and she still keeping the same way as i ordered 2 items , she made me think aswell i did mistske and ordered only 2 mains but actualy was 3 mains . She was very rude and made me look stupid. After she realised that she did a mistske she accepted to make me another food. Everithing wqs good until again i reach home and the vegan items that she gave me had alot of salt and as seen in the picture is dry and no salad no sauce nothing . I cannot go again and again back to the shop and explain to them the problem. Thank you .

Today, I visited a German Doner Kebab establishment in Croydon for lunch. The food was served promptly and was suitably warm and flavorful. However, upon reaching the end of my meal, I discovered a black hair in the kebab box, which was deeply concerning. I brought this to the attention of the staff, but they displayed a concerning lack of concern and stated that such occurrences were not uncommon. Furthermore, I observed that the individuals preparing the food were not wearing beard nets, which raises questions about hygiene standards. Given these circumstances, I declined their offer of additional food and requested a refund. Regrettably, the staff member made an inappropriate remark about the fact that I had nearly finished the meal before discovering the hair, implying that I was attempting to take advantage of the situation. Needless to say, this experience has left me with a negative impression of this establishment, and I do not intend to patronize it again. The unprofessional and dismissive attitude of the staff is unacceptable and undermines the overall dining experience.

Driver came late making my food cold and to make it worse I opened the box and it was awful I paid for extra mix so where was all the meat im seeing more lamb than chicken and the chips were all the way at the bottom barely any of them too like I pretty much just had a portion of a toddler

Disrespectful staff, I asked for 4 Donna kebabs. But then I said can you make that into a meal? But the lady at the back said no, that is not possible we cannot do that. So why isn't this not possible? But food was great. The staff were just disrespectful. That is my only complaint.

Good food but almost every time I tell myself "this is the last time I order from them". If you order extras you have a bigger chance of not getting what you paid for, than getting it. This time I ordered large chips, so they used a small (open) container and just throwing some extra chips in the carrier bag, alongside a coke and some ssuce - "here dog, have some extra chips, you paid for it after all".

Worst sandwich of my life. A local average kebab shop is 100times better than GDK. Cold and rock hard bread filled with hard & burnt chicken rashes without any sauce and tiny bit of salad.
