German Doner Kebab in Croydon

Bought a quick takeaway. The food was ok. It felt overpriced despite the huge size of the box the food was not large in quantity. Nice staff and atmosphere.

Food turned up on time, warm and nothing missing.

I ordered extra mixed meat, I didn't get it. even the box meal Donna was very tiny. meat was dry and salad soggy. 1st and last time to order from here.

my order took 2 hours after a made the order it was ment to reach my by 3 and come at 4.28 the delivery times kept changing and the kids couldn't wait any longer so they just eat something else. The times aren't accurate at all really disappointed

Kebab was nice but almost room temperature, chips were stone cold, delivery took 1 hour 10 mins despite it saying 15 mins when I ordered. Restaurant uncontactable by phone. Driver didn’t come to door - I had to go and find him on the street.

Placed a small simple order on JustEat. Estimated delivery was 15 mins. 1 hour 10 mins later it still says the order is being prepared at the restaurant. Tried calling the restaurant and it goes to voicemail. Never ordering from here again. Absolute bsh!t.

Food was delivered stone cold. Left the note for driver to call me but he didn't spoke any English. Couldn't find the place had to look for him for like 15 min and he came on foot. Really disappointed with delivery. Thats was my last order.

This is the worst experience of ordering GDK through just eat. Food was cold and the delivery time was initially 20:15 to 20:35 but the order came at 20:56. Food was cold as well . Very poor service as well as quality

Food came so cold it was litera inedible :( annoyed, gutted, angry are only some of the words I will use as I was so hungry and actually quite excited as this is my first time ordering from here as I’d heard they have the best kebabs. Sadly, the food was barely lukewarm by the time it was delivered. Perhaps, because the nights are colder, the restaurant should consider double wrapping or bagging the food. Usually the food is really good but not today because of the temperature

My husband happened to be near the Croydon branch so went into ask if he could have a couple of packs of sauce for his meal he already ordered. He was told there's enough sauce inside the kebab and wrap. I had sent him a pic of my dry kebab and when he showed the staff, was told it looks like it had sauce in it (when it really didn't). Anyways when a customer asks for sauces, common decency ny a store is to just provide it without interrogation. It just ruins the meal when it's dry af. Especially when advertised as 'containing signature sauce'. Overall very disappointing and won't be ordering from here again!

The manager of this branch is very very rude to the core. And from the reviews everyone is complaining about her. I am surprised she's still working here as a manager after all the complaints. This simply means no action is being taken care of. I came to eat with a friend n it was really cold. One gentleman asked if they can switch off the fun which the manager responded by saying it's automatic n there's nothing she can do. So the gentleman asked what they do during summer of which the manager responds by saying it goes hot n went in saying it's still summer not winter. We then asked her if there's anything that can be done as we were all freezing. As we continue talking amongst us, the manager shouted at us to Shut Up! To be honest , this came as a shock to us as why a staff would shout at customers asking them to shut up? We asked her why she talks to us in that manner n told her first that was rude, second, she has no right of talking to customers in that manner simply because they enquired about the fun. She continue arguing n telling us we can't do anything. One staff was there n we asked to speak with the manager that's when she said she's the manager. N we asked us that why she's rude? I have been coming to eat here, n there was a time she was rude to other staff . Talking to them in a rude manner. We then told her we will report her n we started looking for head office contact. When she heard us chatting she picked the call to call her boss lying n even telling us she's packing our food for us to go and eat at home. First we never asked her to pack our food, why does she think she has a right to decide to customer what to do? She then went ahead telling us her boss is watching n hearing the cctv audio. Which wasn't necessary as we honestly don't care but if he was, I would like him to go listen to everything. The manager of this Brach lacks good customer service. She's unprofessional, very rude. Lacks good communication skills and needs proper training on how to relate with customers and her staff as well as all the time, they are sad and look scared .

Came to Croydon branch this afternoon to eat. A gentleman and us complained about the coldness of the place as the fan was on and it’s not summer anymore. The manager who’s that big lady there said she can’t turn it off so we asked what happened if it’s winter and she said it’s turns automatically but it’s her tone and attitude. She even told the customers to shut up. She was very rude and disrespectful. She lacks customer service and don’t know how to talk to her customers, insulting a married man. She’s a bully and a liar and no wonder the reviews I see. I don’t know why such a person is allowed to manage a place like this and tarnish the image of this company. This is not the first time I have seen her behave or talk like this to customers. She needs training about how to relate to customers and communicate well with customers and her staff .

1 of sauces has been open, making mess all around, and we where one sauce less. OG hardly have any vegetables and just a bit of chicken meat, filling disappointed especially as i ordered extra mix..., box one, just so-so, fairly saying that order left me disappointed.

I don’t mind that it was late but the quality was absolutely terrible. If it was an even a little bit warm I probably could have eaten it but it was so cold it was like it was sitting on the shelf since yesterday. Absolute waste of money. The only thing that was warm was the can of coke. Shame on you guys

food was Luke warm, chips were probably the smallest I've ever seen, soggy and hardly any cheese sauce on them.can of drink sat next to food was probably reason for Luke warm temperature. garlic bread was meant to have cheddar cheese inside not just garlic spread. no extra feta cheese in kebab,what salad there was was wrapped up and warm...probably the worst meal I've ever had, only ate 1/3rd of it..now I know why I stopped having delivery and collected...food was always hot and fresh..

Delivery took over an hour so food was cold, it's a 25 minute walk. Driver didn't knock, just hung the bag on the door handle and left.

Ordered a take out for lunch. It was disgusting total waste of money 10.50 for the OG n fries. Came back to eat to find that there was hardly any salad in the sandwich as well as old looking dry burnt meat 😩….. I pulled some out to show in pictures the quality that had been served. Looked n smelt terrible. I did wonder that when I walked in the shop kinda smelt liked burnt fat. Will not be going back has put me right offff.

Service and prices not as good as before. When it first opened, the prices were FANTASTIC and the service excellent. Now, the staff are grumpy and arrogant.

We had a very bad experience. We mistakenly ordered to the wrong address and when we called the shop, no one could give us the uber guys detail and when we spoke to the him finally, he promised to deliver the order to the hospital where we work as nurses but never did. So we ordered food of £52 just to be stolen by Uber guy and the shop could not help. Very dissatisfied customer

Wrong food delivered - ordered chicken but got beef (I don't eat beef due to religious reasons). Customer service wouldn't refund the meal as food is cooked in an individual style and taste. Very unhappy with thus experience and will not be ordering again

How DARE you deliver me this! Its the worst thing I've ever seen in my entire life! Vinegar smelling sauce smeared on cold damp, broken bread, with what looks like old dried bits of dog food at the top part of the bread with a random bit of onion - the entire thing stone cold. I would have found a better, edible kebab from the bottom of a week old public bin. Absolutely shockingly horrendous! Expected the best as it is advertised as the 'OG game changing kebab box' - Compare the photos of what I received to how the OG kebab is supposed to look like on the menu is like comparing night and day (see photos added) .. Some sort of prank???.. There is no excuses for sending 'food' out like this and your food establishment must be pulled up on it. You couldn't pay me to eat this ❌️

Ordered a mixed kebab box with extra meat on Deliveroo. Portion sizes are laughable for the price, had a few bits of meat and a handful of chips. Not acceptable for that price sorry. Save your money and order a kebab elsewhere, there are dozens of better kebab places in Croydon.

Your shop need to get rid of the Caucasian woman working here. I was about to buy some water and my husband needed toilet. He politely asked but she said "no" and waved him in a very rude way. This is totally unacceptable. We are going to escalate the complaint further.
