Great club good prices and great staff

Been here a few times for drinks and to see bands. But unfortunately more recently for a couple of funeral wakes. The pub provided refreshments of sandwiches, quiche, sea food, sausage rolls, salad, chicken, pork pies everything you could think of. Along with scones, cakes, roulades, tea and coffee and it was all really nice.

Pleasant pub bar staff friendly. Lovely and clean . We go on a Thursday night as it's quiz night and bingo and play your cards right . The quizmaster is a lovely man and Vanessa and Brenda take care of everyone with the bing and other entertaining little games. I lovely Pleasant pub.

Disgusting place. 'Committee' are bigotted, deluded, narrow-minded silly old chuffs. Wake up grandma!!! Its not 1960 anymore!!!! Place to avoid if you intend to try and enjoy yourself or to try and be inclusive and try to involve those who are maybe less fortunate than others. Disgusting, backwards attitudes. ALL people deserve to be able to have the opportunity to enjoy themselves. You pillocks on the 'committee' (by the way, that means nothing to anyone, you're just jumped up, puffed chested idiots) should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves....except you wont be, because you are clueless, deluded nobodies. Do everyone a favour and pop off.

We go every other Monday for Country Music. We love it here, everyone who comes is there to listen to the brilliant entertainment.

It was a sad occasion after a funeral but it was the best place to be. Food was really good and the room and service was excellent. Highly recommend the venue.

Recently went for a private wake after our friends funeral. It was a lovely afternoon and was a place to reflect on our loss and celebrate her life in a nice friendly atmosphere and the food provided for the buffet was exceptional.

Night when the rock bands were on lovely club and staff but the smoke from the band on stage wasn't good too small a place for it

Lovely hostess she puts good quality food on and presentation is lovely. Been on a number of occasions and its always the same top service and food.

Needs some cash spending on the outside play area for the kids apart from that always feel welcome staff are great 👍

Great friendly services with reasonably prices drinks

I was in there for a kids birthday party so didn't see much. But place seemed nice. Bar was cheap, toilets were clean, staff were nice. No complaints!

Great place to sit and have a drink and for kids to play. Big field next to the beer garden with swings, slides and climbing frames etc. Drinks reasonable price and everyone friendly

Great night of fund raising supporting the magnificent #RobBurrows with guest speaker #SimonGrayson. The club pulled out all the stops and provided a good 3 course dinner too! Well done everyone!

POOR. I’ve only been a member 2 years but just called in with the family for a few pints and we’ve been turned away, we’d have had at least 8 to 12 drinks, obviously they don’t need the sales, there were other families in the beer garden So I don’t understand why.

George V a nice little sports and social club, they make you feel welcome, and often have live entertainment .

A great community club with great priced drinks. Still has all the things typical WMCs have, like club turns and community events.... but always seems too hot and too full. I feel like i am always in someones way.... great to pass through but we wouldnt spend a session in there

This is a friendly club, they have music every weekend, the beer and lager is good.

Popular club with good selection of beers, wines and spirits. Artistes, bingo and games etc at weekends. Sports on big screens. Annual George Fest, just gone a great day out for live music lovers and drinkers alike. Well worth a visit.

Only been in a couple of times but always seems busy. There's a room at the back with a stage, so so a decent venue for functions and weekend performances.

Was here for our friends surprise 30th. Lovely little pub and very cheap on drinks.

Has a family we have visit here a few times over the years to have a play in the park without having to step around glass in the local parks. It is on the tired side but looked after and a nice area for the kids the play and run around. We have alot visited discos and the last visit was on bonfire night event! I was overly impressed how amazing it was. And for free! It was a very good night and well organised. It's great that some local businesses aren't just out to rob you of your money. We'll played to this place

Great little working mens club. Cheap ale, decent shows. or even to start a night out before going onto other places.

It is very clean and tidy also the locals are friendly and make sure that you feel welcome plus the bar staff are efficient and friendly and during the summer they have out side entertainment and raise money for good causes

Old school wmc that has moved with the times. Been a few times mainly to family functions but I live in Wakefield so dont visit as a local. If I did live nearby I would join and visit regularly.
