Love this old pub, the staff are friendly. The pizzas are lush. Pub garden is beautiful when weather permits. Dog friendly and they do live music with a difference. Lovely place to eat and relax.

Nice, we popped in for a drink, locals were chatty, thou not many in. We would of had food but not on a Tuesday night.... Watched a bit of Olympics on the TV 📺 😀 Bar lady was nice and helpful 👌. We Would go back for food but not around today.

Sunday dinner and dessert amazing every time absolutely delicious and the service is fantastic love this place it’s a real gem in the backstreets of Pensford….. please please please go and visit you won’t be disappointed ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great pub with reasonable prices and nice food.

Amazing Sunday roast for lunch. Just when we thought we couldn't eat any more, we saw one of their pizzas go past, and they also looked amazing. Almost made us other a second main. Great vegetarian and vegan options were also enjoyed by our party.

Had a delicious sunday lunch here. Choice of 3 meats and 2 veggie/vegan options, all served with a generous portion of vegetables and some of the best roast potatoes i've ever had. Great desserts too, if you have space! Friendly service and cosy atmosphere too.

Lovely little pub in Pensford, we had a day trip with my BF and we found this little gem. The bar staff were very friendly and lovely. The food was amazing and very good price, good size portions. Good seating area with chilled vibes and if you want some entertainment you can play some darts while meeting some great local people who can tell you more about the village itself. Very nice experience and good location too.

Can’t praise the ‘Italian@Pensford’ enough, my Dad and I had delicious, generous fresh hake fillet with red pesto served on spinach with new potatoes and a bit of broccoli too as it was a Sunday thanks to Rich the chef, formerly of the marvellous La Grotta in central Bristol. Pre-ordered, it arrived on time served with a smile by the king of courtesy ‘Augusto the Portugeezer’ To follow we had the majestic profiteroles with marshmallow cream, could’ve eaten them till I popped! Spacious and warm, fantastic food, great service - five big gold stars from me 😊

First time of visiting and had the Sunday roast. Wow, best Sunday roast we've had in a very long time and extremely friendly team. Could not fault we will definitely be coming back. It was refreshing to have a traditional roast with all the trimmings including delicious cauliflower cheese for one menu price with no hidden extra costs !

Nice pub with food on certain days. Amazing Sunday roasts and good Italian food in the week with vegetarian options. Pool room and a dog friendly pub with treats and water out for dogs. Friendly atmosphere and fairly priced beer. Sometimes they do live music and events

Had a roast dinner today was amazing roast beef was fantastic, veg cooked to perfection. Apple pie great dessert amazing atmosphere and staff had a great day.

Excellent three course Sunday roast nice friendly atmosphere dining inside then sat outside in the beautiful sunny terrace for coffees. Thankyou to Gus and Rich who made us very welcome.

Dropped in for a couple of pints after looking around the village. Great pub and service. Somewhere around here I believe my forebears once lived. Who knows they might have had adrink here. Cheers 🍺

Great atmosphere, old style pub with open fire and real ales surrounded by dozens of footpaths leading you out into beautiful countryside. Only downside is that there are very few parking places nearby

I’m very fortunate to have this pub as my local. It has it all, open fire, greats drinks, separate room at the top with pool table, darts, digital dukebox and obviously friendly vibe and locals. Can’t recommend this place enough 🍻

If you’re looking for a lovely welcoming atmosphere, with a sunny beer garden and well priced drink - this is the place. Lovely walks around and from the village, with The G&D perched upon the hill.

We loved it. We weren't local but had a friendly welcome and great drinks. Would definitely come again.
