Gee's Waffles Burgers and Shakes in Hart

Love that I can have Gee’s delivered but don’t have it often as it’s a bit pricey. However had a family celebration and ordered… OMG it was absolutely awful! Had better burgers from the burger van. Cheap burgers, big soggy floured bun. What has happened? It was never like this! Waste of money will not use again. It used to be so nice

After being a valued customer ordering from yourselves since moving here6 years ago. Writting this review is disheartened. the door said opening hours 11am till 11pm wanted to know why the restaurant was closed at 22:40pm and speak to someone when I was confronted with rude man with poor customer service being told to check the website shouting at me and then closing the door on my hand leaving me bruised. Checked the website and says 2am as shown in images below. I look forward to hearing back on this.

I regularly get take out from Gees and have never been disappointed. The halloumi wrap is my go to, packed generously with halloumi, salad ,sauce and chips (The chicken sauce is to die for!) The cheesy chips are smothered in great quality cheese, and the waffles and shakes are a meal in themselves! The manager is polite and considerate, and the staff who deliver have always been courteous and friendly.

Ordered the bacon cheese burger. Got an 10oz double burger with crispy chips. Oreo freakshake is to die for. Waffels are big and crispy! I had a gee's mixed grill! Lovely authentic greek food.Kids are happy.Will absolutely be back. Thanks guys

This place is disgusting! I had had a take out from here over lockdown which was pretty good, so thought I’d pop in to try a burger…. The tables were sticky and wonky and rather then wiping them down told us to try another table. The burger sells itself as 8oz chuck steak but was clearly a frozen burger van greasy paddy. Really not enjoyable. My sweet potato chips were burnt and basically inedible. My wife found a hair in her food and a strange petrol smell overcame the restaurant so all in all it was a complete shambles. My wife made a complaint and received rude hostility from the (manager) who just denied and walked away. The guy on the grill was handling money and not washing his hands in between cooking and working the till. Seriously unhygienic at anytime nether-lone right now! It’s a kebab van disgusting itself as an American diner, serving Greek food, charging gourmet prices. How this place has 5 star review is beyond me! Absolutely foul!

Just had something to eat in the restaurant. I was really impressed. Food was lovely and the Freakshake well it was another level. The guy behind the counter was also cooking was very friendly. I will be going again for sure. Incidentally my Daughter had a chicken burger and almost done the lot which was amazing cause it was so big and that was a children’s one. I had a lamb shush wrap thingy. 😀👍

Had a treat, a takeaway Nutella Freshake (some people may know these as Freakshakes). Completely indulgent drink / dessert, full of calories but tasted devine. At £6 it was not cheap, but as a treat, it's OK. This is not a small portion.

Just had a Gee’s delivered. Awful! Cold hard fries that didn’t even fill half of the box for £2.95, what a rip off. The lamb gyros (I can spell) were absolutely awful. There were 2 big chunks of lamb and then lots of small bits, almost like you pan was scraped out. The large lumps of lamb were gross, tough and one was entirely made of fat. Made me gag so I stopped eating at that point. Honestly what a disappointing dinner, gross, don’t bother

Since turning into a Greek resturant the service has gone down and the burger quality has decreased. Not worth the money. Burger van burgers dressed up to be £8 burgers. Gyros weren’t all that either. Didnt try the milkshakes

I have heard good things about GEES and their food! Myself and partner after a long day fancied some Greek food so decided to give them a try. Admittedly it was late (10.25pm) but we went in to grab something! We ordered a lamb shish pitta and also a lamb Gyros, also a side of halloumi! When we arrived home we got the food out to see that there was just two lamb gyros. Not a lamb shish pitta? And no halloumi? The food itself was piping hot, lovely & delicious. But disappointed to not have recieved the halloumi we had paid for! By this point they were closing soon and we would not have made it back in time. Hence leaving this review. We were struggling to decide on what to eat especially as at the present time it’s hard to find a decent takeout that delivers but I’m so happy we found these guys. The burgers where some of the best we have had anywhere in the world and the portions where USA style I mean we loved the food but couldn’t finish it all there was that much, great value for money and arrived on time nice and hot. Will definitely be heading there to eat In Once we are able to Although this time we will try and leave room for there awesome sounding shakes.

Today is my sons 16th and we had planned all week to have a take away from Gees. I called them at lunch time to advise that we were hoping to eat at 7pm and what time should I place the order, I was told 5.30 due to delivery taking 1.5 hours. At 5.30 I placed an online order and paid, all was confirmed on screen. Our family were waiting for its arrival and I thought I would call to check it was on its way. The chap on the phone was very rude and said they had not received my order, despite having my address 'on their system' - I had never ordered from them before. He asked me to check that the funds had left my bank and then call him back so he could process my order. I did so and then the manager came on the phone and was even ruder saying they were not taking any more orders that night and hung up on me! We were then left with a disappointed and hungry family on my sons birthday! This was really badly handled with a total lack of care and concern. I am sure the food is lovely if all goes well but if there are any problems dont expect them them give a damn. I would avoid avoid avoid.
