Gayatri Sweet Mart, London Gayatri Sweet Mart, in Kingsbury, London, has been serving the community for over four decades. My family and I were among its first clients. I first met the Late Chairman and CEO, Mr. Ashwin Modha, who greeted me warmly, and we became friends immediately. He was a remarkable man, innovative and friendly, who brought his colleagues from East Africa to London to establish this exceptional Indian Sweets outlet in London. He maintained superb quality for over 40 years. Recently, I met his son, Mr. Vikunj & Mr. Mehul, and his nephew, Mr. Uday, who are all as warm and welcoming as their Father and Uncle. On a recent visit, I was shocked to learn of his father's passing in December. This sad news reminded me of the importance of staying in touch with friends. I pray for his soul to rest in peace 🙏 and wish the management and staff continued success in upholding the founder's legacy. God bless 🙏©️ Ash-Cash and AshandKaren

This is the first time I have been to this Gujarati sweet shop, and I cannot praise it enough . After several bad experiences at other sweet shops I had almost given up hope finding a good Gujarati sweet shop in London. We have been to a well known shop (J) in Ealing road in Wembley where we had to throw away the samosas and dhokra the next day because they had gone off. We also had another bad experience in another well known shop (P) in Tooting where we were given stale chevdo which had obviously been toasted to refresh it. Needless to say we will not be going to these places again. Another point I like to express is the transparency in the bill, in these places. In many cases no bill was given or if one is given it only has the total cost no itemised or weight of goods, this is obviously open to abuse with overcharging or cheating. At Gayatri we received a proper bill. The sweets I brought were excellent, my husband is from Leicester so knows a good Gujarati sweet and found the Mohanlal perfect. The dhokra and samosas were also very good. The choice is limited but what is there is freshly prepared and tasty. We shall definitely be back.

We have tried other places but no one can touch Gayatri Sweetmart Ltd its a family run concern and are very welcoming yes they are not the cheapest but quality and taste is there and most importantly is a tidy place everything is made fresh and not purchased from third parties . I prefer Gayatri Sweet and have been going for decades and will be recommending to friends

Amazing food! In fact I keep going back as I can’t resist. Family members love the food and the quality too. Everything is well packed and made fresh daily. Mehul and team are always extremely friendly and provide top service. There’s a reason these guys are always busy! Highly recommend!

I (we) have accessed and used Gayatri Sweetmart based on Kingsbury Road, London NW9 9DY for over 2 decades. Our view is that they offer a warm and inviting welcome that helps the cohort behind the counter to be engaging and nothing short of being confident, able and being helpful. Their indian sweets, savories and snacks are tasty, fresh and rarely in short supply, Their fresh green chutney and dhokla are in our view first class. Away from their main core business, they have made over a number of years, pledges to worthy causes, which gives an indication of helping and giving beyond the norm! So try them when you are next in Kingsbury. You will be served with an inviting and a friendly smile!

Gayatri stands out as they use only the highest-quality ingredients e.g. rapeseed oil for frying. And you notice that in the taste! All good but highly recommend jalebi-ghathia on Sundays. Get there by 9 though!

We have been living in Wembley Park area and have been visiting Gayatri Sweet Mart for over 25 years now. Their Mithaai, made from PURE Ghee, is par excellence. Their Savouries are always fresh and tasty - their Samosas and Chevado go very well with tea, especially when it is raining. Every year for our Ganesh Pooja at the Maharashtra Mandal, we get the Prashad and tasty snacks from Gayatri, which is highly appreciated by the devotees. One can always trust the quality of Gayatri's products. The Shop is clean, bright with devotional songs being played in the background. The staff (Uday, Mehul, Vikunj, Mahek and Ajaybhai) always offer a warm welcome and excellent service to all. They genuinely care for the customers and it shows. Most highly recommend it to everyone!

I get takeaway every Saturday from this Gayatri. I cannot recommend enough. It is so much pleasure to go there. Staff are so honest and will tell you if ingredients are not suitable. I am quite ill and they recommended appropriate chevdo (without lemon phool).

I visit Gayatri whenever I am in the area. I have to say that the quality of the snacks and savories, are probably one of the best in the area. Even more impressive is the customer service. Gayatri gives a whole new meaning to the expression 'service with a smile '. I think all Gayatri staff are superbly trained in good customer service. Very polite from start to finish. You normally get one special member of staff who you can say is good, but at this place every member of staff is superb.11out of 10, is what I would give this place and the staff. I would recommend this place to everyone. Well done Gayatri.

Went here this week after nearly 25year gap. The place was in same clean tidy condition and helpful staff. Mawa penda my favourite were the still the best you could buy. I have tried several shop for mawa penda and never found anything close to this shop Will try to come more often now that we have friends living in the area.

This place is not a restaurant but a typical Indian Sweetmart. It is slightly dearer than others in the area but is worth the extra as the food is way better than the others. They are some what limited in choice compared to others but for me it is not a problem as that way they maintain the quality. They do run out of items late afternoon as the hot food is prepared only for daily use .

This place is in the business for the last three decades or so. One of the first shops on Kingsbury road for Asians. The quality of their sweets remains the same superb quality. Yes, it's more expensive than the other similar places. But, they use PURE ghee and they never compromise on quality. Best buys for me are Chilli bhajias, a variation of habshi halwa, spicy chevda, kaju katri and laddoos. Pity they don't do kalakhand and their samosas aren't spicy for my Andhra taste.

This place is well known among the local community of their offering for Sunday. Opens on Sunday at 09.00hrs. Sunday's they offer jelebi & Ghantia a must for Sunday asian breakfast. Freshly made, que of people starts at 08.45. Other offerings are good as well- Khandwi, dhokras, kq horn among others. A must place for Sunday. They also open during the normal hours during the week, Sunday offering is something else😃

This is a takeaway snack shop, good quality on the occasions we've bought from here, possibly pricier than some others in Harrow / Kingsbury / Wembley.

Esto en realidad no es un restaurante propiamente dicha. Es una tienda con llevar servicio aunque creo que no catering limitado también. He estado yendo a Gayatri para burros años. Todo lo que venden es de la más alta calidad y tiene el mejor sabor. De hecho, recomiendo encarecidamente Gayatri de absolutamente todo el mundo. No sólo son todos sus productos verdaderamente excepcional tanto de una calidad y un punto de vista, pero el personal y el servicio que te dan es insuperable. Sigan el buen trabajo y esos estándares impecables! Mi agradecimiento personal a Ajaybhai, Mehul, Uday, Mahek Vikunj y que son siempre muy útil para mí!

Foods okayish mithais are average but the samosas are spicy and pricey. There prices on an average are abit steep.

Es un lugar bastante limpio y la mayoría de los artículos están hechos a las recetas originales. Es una delicia en un domingo por la mañana con jalebis calientes (muy dulce para aquellos que son la salud consciente) y faafda (se necesita un estómago fuerte para esto). Otros aperitivos como samosas, kachoris, etc. son muy básicas y no en todo muy sabroso. Las samosas son fritas congeladas y el hojaldres no hace nada para mí, también el relleno sin sabor. Otros dulces indios están bien si te quedas allí cuando están recién hecho. Sin embargo, la Srikhand y Ras Malai son el mejor todo lo demás es bastante caro.

The food from here is very tasty. I visit this a place few times a month, their dhokras are the best. Service is great and very friendly staff. The food never disappoints
