Fabulous location, friendly and polite staff and lovely food. Outside over looks the beautiful meni Straits. Inside cosy with lovely lights.

We visited this Inn whilst on holiday for a family meal and it was a really nice experience. The inn is located right on the sea front in a small village and is a bit like the Tardis i.e. it looks small from the outside but is much bigger on the inside with lots of rooms all serving food! There is a good choice of food all reasonably priced and a good atmosphere as the place was full, you need to book in advance especially if you have a large party of 8 people like us. We had a wide range of food which was all well presented, hot and tasty and served in a professional manner! The inn is a busy place with a great a ambience and you can also eat outside!

We booked ahead and the welcome was great. The service was excellent and we had a super pub lunch! The puddings were delicious!

Perfect location overlooking the menai strait, lovely bar staff who are always really welcoming and friendly. I had the crab ravioli off the specials board, it came quickly and it was delicious, best meal I’ve had in ages! Also really nice just to pop in for a drink too.

I stopped here with a friend a few weeks back and loved it, the pub is right on the beach front, great atmosphere and all the locals were really friendly, the rooms very clean and cosy. I left my AirPods in the room when I left and contacted Dave the manager afterwards who arranged for them to be delivered to me, next day delivery free of charge. Absolutely top drawer customer service, will 100% be back! Cheers again Dave 👍

First day of our honeymoon trip and followed the recommendation of our hosts to try this waterfront pub. Dog friendly, very friendly and welcoming barman, excellent food and nice choice of ales.

Last minute decision to go out for Sunday lunch and we were lucky to get a table. We'd not been before but as a new resident of Y Felinheli was in our group we were glad we tried it. Very enjoyable roast dinners. Good produce and price served by very pleasant staff both waiting on and behind the bar. It won't be our last visit.

I wanted to go to the four crosses but it is being refurbished so thought I would try the sister restaurant. Its usually very good around Christmas but the Sunday lunch was a little disappointing. Was looking forward to a Beef dinner but unfortunately got braising steak. Also I think the veg and roasties were frozen? Won't be rushing back, will stick to four crosses. Had a couple of lovely sunday lunches from there.

Party of 8 booked a last minute meal here . Food was fantastic - big menu to chose from - everyone were happy with their meals. Gluten free options available. Staff were great with kids to, very friendly . The pub itself had a really lovely atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

Went for a really large family meal and was very surprised how well we were all served. The food was great quality and came out really hot. It’s unusual to find such a large group catered for so well. The location is stunning, right on the waterfront and we stayed for the night too which was convenient. Our room was a decent size and the bathroom huge and very clean. Would definitely go there again.

Totally blown away by the quality of the food, the helpful staff, and the immaginative chef who was ready and willing to adapt dishes to suit all dietary requirements inc vegan (they even had vegan cherry pie!). Everything was really fresh, tasty, and cooked to perfection. You get a feel that the staff are knowledge and enjoy working there. It was so good, that we recommended it to the owner of the Aber Falls cafe today, who coincidentally created some of the wooden fixtures and fittings in the bar apparently! We visit the mountains of Snowdonia quite regularly, and have saved this place in our memories to revisit.

As soon as you walked in, all the staff were extremely friendly and eager to help out. We luckily found a table in the bar area which is where is allocated as dog-friendly. Alongside an extensive menu there’s a specials board, which had some great options. Although it was a busy night & they had to put a small hold on orders, staff made sure to come back when the time was right and take our order promptly. Food was also very quick to come out, great surprise. There were options for everyone, including vegan at each course. The food was all extremely tasty and you could tell it was homemade. The onion rings a particular highlight - nice and crisp. It was absolutely worth the drive to Garddfon Inn, and we highly recommend it to anyone in the area.

We were on holiday in the Marina area about 15 minutes walk away from the pub.We ate in the pub 3 times and the food was delicious every time.( The Sunday lunch was exceptional ) Outside to the front is a great beer garden with views of the Menai straights and we thoroughly enjoyed a glass of wine before our meal in the sun.The pub is really well run with lovely staff.We would certainly go again when in the area.

So friendly I was made to feel part of a warm welcoming family. Staff very quick and attentive. George, Rachel, Ben and of course the amiable landlord Dave all fantastic fun while still providing great customer service. They work like a well oiled machine

Stayed with my elderly mother. We loved the room which looked over the Menai Strait and was clean and had everything you need. The food in the bistro was fantastic, plenty of choice and lovely friendly service. Great value! Super friendly place to stay.

Great pub. We dined in the bistro. It was busy but the service was excellent. We all had various fish dishes and they were all delicious. Will definitely return when we are next in the area.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We had two evening meals whilst staying in Y Felinheli and both were great. The fish and chips were delicious and my children enjoyed the scampi and chips. On one of the evenings we enjoyed a pre-dinner drink sitting outside the pub overlooking the Menai Straits - just perfect! Would definitely recommend the pub - good pub grub served with a smile!

Are second visit to the Garddfon Inn , superb fish selection, and cooked to perfection by a chef who knows his trade , Could not have been more welcomed by Imogen and her staff,so professional and friendly, they seem to have picked the best. We have not visited this area since covid and whilst the Garddfon Inn was good before the new owners have upped the anti Well doe to a superb team My wife would eat here every night if she could. The food is amazing!!!

Found this place by chance having had to change our plans last minute. The staff were all super friendly and made us welcome straight away. We had a drink outside first with amazing views across the Menai Strait before heading in for our meal. The food was superb all being very fresh and the pie of the day was delicious. We would definitely return when in the area. A real hidden gem in a beautiful location.

So good we visited twice in three days! We were a party of six adults , a five year child and a young golden cocker spaniel so we booked ahead both times and were accomodated in the snug. Between us , over the two visits , we tried : steak , sea bass, mushroom linguine, curry of the day, chicken burger , fish and chips, ribs and two from the specials board plus the children’s sausage and mash. We also had every item on the desserts menu! Every single dish was delicious though the melt off the bone ribs need a special mention as does the sea bass which was just perfect ( everything on the plate just worked so well!) . It would be hard to pick a winning dessert - they all had them own merit - fabulous! The staff were lovely - friendly and helpful and the meal just went at a lovely pace . No lengthy waits but no feeling rushed either. Great location too as we had a bit of fresh air at the harbour front to wake us up after our feast …
