What an amazing find ; we are here just for few days ; we wish they can deliver where we live . Starters and Lamb dishes are excellent quality and good portions ; definitely good value for money . If we are in the area again we will come back.

Really poor food for such nice part of Shrewsbury food hullumi fries were chewy hard cold my partners omelette was very small cold my noodle box as ordered instead of rice box was pure microwave noodles and grease onions chicken wasn't too bad rest awfully partners chips that come with omelette were cold all food literally straight in bin the building it self dirty seats the tub chairs black stains was dreading it after paying thinking how bad food was going to be after seeing the state of seating area

Sabi and the gang organised a superb delivery for 80 people and the service was sublime, he threw in extra bhajis and all the accompaniments for free! Everyone was extremely complimentary! The vegan curry, salmon passanda and chicken tikka were done wonderfully and everything was fresh and delicious! Thank you so much for your amazing service at a very reasonable price!

A soloing disgusting food I wouldn’t feed a dog with it. Absolutely disgusting. What a waste of money. Avoid this so called curry house at all costs. The meat is disgustingly cooked and the sauce is sour.

Absolutely disgusting the sauce is off the meat is like the leftovers. I have never ever tasted such a disgusting so called curry. What an absolute insult and a waste of money. And no apology. I will be returning the disgusting food. Absolutely shocking for £29 I wouldn’t feed it to a dog. We aren’t all idiots some of us know how to cook a proper curry. Clearly not a curry house.

The passanda was so sickly sweet it was actually almost inedible. The rice, naan and korma were tasty though luckily my husband shared his with me! I'd still order from here but steer clear of the passanda as it was just like syrup.

Sheek kebab burnt and dry. Naan bread burnt and dry couldn't eat all of it. Dissatisfied overall.

When it arrived it was open all over the bags… what could be eaten didn’t taste ok. Asked for a refund on the main dishes, but still waiting for an acknowledgment.

There was a foreign object in my food which my child was also eating! When I spoke with someone from just eat basically got told tough!! Absolutely disgusting

Last night's food was inedible sadly. The chicken chaat was flavourless and watery, the biriani was like regular plain pilau rice - maybe there was a different chef, but the worst it about it was the mint sauce which I love and always buy extra of - I put it over the bhajees, biriani and chaat and tasted it and realised that the yoghurt must have been off! It was watery and tasted metallic, ruining the food I had poured it over. Which was basically all of it. Not happy. £40 wasted.

The food was delicious! It would be good to have a rough idea of when the food will arrive as I was not expecting it so early! A pleasant but unexpected surprise.

Despite the delivery problems, the staff went over and above to put things right (especially our delivery driver, Scott), and the food was absolutely delicious (as always) and worth waiting for. We recommend this restaurant and will continue to use it. Everyone makes mistakes (it wasn't a straightforward situation), but it's how they respond after that's really important. The guys at The Ganges have genuine integrity. Oh, and the food is some of the best in Shrewsbury!

Disappointing flavour compared to previous Ganges experiences. Makhani was terribly bland; no hint of nutty tanginess that usually has. Shame.

Sabby and the lads always provide the goods and best price in town. They’ll custom do any order as well and well worth asking. Salmon passanda quality and CTM always bang on, if you want something different go for the Murgh Masala.

Food was lovely as always but didn't get a free side which should of got as spent over £25 and didn't get any dips what so ever for poppadoms,not even a mint yoghurt dip which comes free with all Indians especially when ordered poppadoms so a little let down to be fair.

Unfortunately the food this time wasn’t the best, I ordered a tandoori spring baby chicken and it was horrible, extremely dry and the leg/thigh piece was inedible. Not impressed. We have ordered from here a few times previously fast delivery, disappointing food

Possible the worst curry in Shrewsbury The curry tasted like cheap supermarket jars , had no flavour , the chips were oven chips cooked in a fryer , the poppadums were soggy and I ordered 4 dips but received 2 oh and because my order was over £25 I got a free cheesecake which is still frozen , you can’t make this up , how are they still trading Avoid people avoid

Worst curry I have ever eaten, the curry is jar stuff you buy from a cheap supermarket, the poppudoms were soggy , the rice was cold , the chips were oven chips put in a fryer and really bad ( cold) the free cheesecake was frozen when I received it and I ordered 4pots of sauce but only got 2 all in all possible the worst curry ever

went above and beyond to deliver us delicious food during a flood. delivery driver was lovely and the food was amazing and still hot despite travelling for so long. can only apologise for ordering without realising how much trouble the flooding had caused for traffic. despite all this, both service and food were amazing and we will be ordering again

To begin with, the service was nothing but friendly and helpful. I ordered a burger and ships for five pounds which is very affordable, considering this cost of living. The food was very tasty l: the fries were fresh and the burger tasteful. I had a great chat with the chap behind the counter and he was prepared to help me in anyway possible. An all round fantastic place to have a takeaway and i definitely will be revisiting.

I have had lamb madras many times over last 2 years from you and previous restaurants too. I have never gad a problem with it being too hot. it was inedible! there was a problem with the lack of meat in the dish. the lamb had been cut into tiny chunks. There was only a few small cubes in my curry. I am really unhappy with the service that I received last night. I would be extremely grateful if you could refund the amount for the curry please. the rest of the food was fine. so I only had popadom

Really good food, on time, friendly staff.

Order was missing a Salad a Mint Dip and the Naan bread, tried to ring restaurant but always engaged. Spoilt our meal as paid for it but missing items. 😡

We ordered from them last night three mains , two naans and two rice dishes. When it arrived , one of the mains was missing so I called them and they took my details and said they would get back to me. An hour later … (by this time we had gone to the chip shop) , they called back and asked if we had received it yet , in which I replied no it’s too late now … did they apologise NO. They said ‘oh ok’ , I ordered a refund on just eat. They did not apologise once.

Failed to deliver certain items

Poppadoms were soft and bit disappointing only onions came with poppadoms

Usually bang on but wasn’t up to the normal standard, maybe due to being busy
