The food is excellent (we’ve been cooking Indian food at home for 30 years). Not spicy is really not spicy -so don’t be afraid of medium or more. Their tandoori oven isn’t on for lunch FYI. We will be coming back!

Best Indian Dal tadka with Garlic Naan and Dansak was extremely delicious. Thanks you so Much Imraan for the delicious dinner. Will be coming back again for sure to try other dishes.

Poor food. Chicken Tikka ceylon was horrible. Harsh peppery taste, no coconut. Rice very bland. One of the worst Indians I've had to be honest.

First visit to sit in the restaurant. Previously only had 2 takeaways. Great service and great food. Chicken Ceylon was great and the piping hot Aloo Paratha was first class. The dishes were too sweet for our liking. The coke was quite flat. We were not impressed with the food. It was bland and too sweet. The service was good but not a place we would return to.

When visiting Mildenhall, a MUST place to eat. Delicious food made from scratch, very welcoming and polite, clean and up kept, and overall very good pricing. Strongly recommend reviewing the menu but I tried approximately 6 dishes to taste a bit from each and each dish was exceptional in flavor.

The food at the Gandhi has always been great as are the staff. We visit the Gandhi regularly and have always had great service and food.

I had an unpleasant experience at this restaurant due to the extremely rude staff. Not only were they unhelpful, but they also refused to accommodate my request for vegetarian options. The lack of customer service and unwillingness to cater to dietary preferences left a lasting negative impression. The restaurant's outright refusal to provide service and their insistence on canceling all orders was not only disappointing but also culturally insensitive, especially for individuals from the Indian subcontinent. Such behavior goes against the principles of hospitality and respect for diverse dietary choices.

I’ve been going to Gandhi for years, and it’s the best Indian restaurant bar none. I love seeing the same staff there after all these years too.

Best indian takeaway in Suffolk :) I’ve tried multiple Indian restaurants and they have always disappointed me in flavour & spice. When ever I order from Gandhi they always meet my expectations and always meet my requirements with my order being extremely extra spicy 🌶️

Ordered online and when my 6 items turned up, most were cold which is understandable cause it had taken 115 mins to get to me, 3 miles away. So a quick go in the microwave and it was tasty. So lesson learned from experience. Go somewhere else

Food was disappointing. Meat and prawns in the biriyani was chewy, and tasted like it had been microwaved. Vegetable curry tasted frozen, not alot of flavour.

Lovely restaurant serving delicious food. I visit this every year when I come to Newmarket for the racing and I'm always glad I did. Great variety of dishes with several things I can't find elsewhere. Particularly love the curries with fruit in them so this place suits me. Nice staff, fast service and good value.

I have lived in Mildenhall all my life, and have probably been guilty of being one of those that overlooked Gandhi. However seeing that it has been in town for over 40 years, around a year ago we gave it a try. Since then, we always get Indian takeaways from Gandhi. The food is competitively priced, it tastes amazing (Chicken Tikka Balti especially) and the service when collecting is always good. I can't comment on eating in as i've never tried it.

We came to stay in the area for a weekend and decided to get a take away. We ordered a Sag paneer, which arrived with some melted cheese on top but had no paneer in the sauce! The food arrived cold and there was a distinct lack of chicken in the curries. When we phoned and spoke to the manager he told us “that it was unacceptable to complain and we were never to order from them again”. Based on this feedback we have crossed their name off the lodge “recommended” list. We understand that it is a Saturday night but the attitude of the manager was awful. Don’t order from here if you want an accurate and tasty order.

I'm not a connoisseur of Indian food, so when we decided to visit the Gandhi, I was unsure of the food. I had looked at the menu on line and had a rough idea of what I wanted to eat, and it was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful, the service was just lovely. I would be more than happy to return and will certainly be ordering a takeaway in the future. For the record, I had a vegetable Kashmir and Peshwari rice. YUM.

This is my local restaurant that has a good selection of Indian and Bangladeshi dishes. I have never been disappointed. The food tastes great and the service is prompt. This is an unlicensed restaurant so you can bring your own alcoholic drinks. I usually have the mango juice. It is very popular on Fridays and Saturdays and is incredible value for money too.

Gorgeous food.nice people. Only criticism was not much flavour in bombay potatoes.. lamb jalfrezi Gorgeous and chicken korma Gorgeous.

Over 2 hours for a curry when website states up to/including an hour. We accepted it would be an hour, no bother. However 2 hours and for food to arrive cold is unacceptable. We were told first time we chased that it would be 15 more minutes- 25 minutes later we checked the status of it, to be told ‘the driver is just leaving’ … we live 10 minutes from the store and it didn’t arrive for another half an hour. To say we are disappointed is an understatement. Will not be using again. Customer service was poor, we were lied to and just greeted with ‘yes?’ On the phone when calling. Really not worth it. I know it may be busy but why state 60 mins on the phone when clearly they can’t fulfil? False hope!! As a side note- the sag paneer is made wish cheddar and grated. The cheese and garlic Naan is chewy and flavourless. Would not recommend these items

A little pricey for what you get. Curry should come with rice and naan I shouldn’t have to order separate and pay extra. Small portions as well. Food was very good however. Service was also fantastic.

Had this several times as take away. Food was good the first time, the second time the chicken was rubbery and not nearly as good. Both times the food was extremely greasy which was off-putting and messy. The grease gave us upset stomaches - likely won't get again.

Amazing food, I prefer it so much more than the Spice Longe. Prices are good, portions are just right for me and very flavoursome. Will definitely be my favorite now. And the staff are VERY helpful and sweet!

Just arrived in from the states and the first thing I had to have after 7 years of being gone was the Ghandi Delight. So delicious and very favourable. Ghandi is a Mildenhall tradition that always satisfies the palet!!!

Great food and fast delivery! The Tawa Wings are a hidden gem--never had anything like them. And if you ask for spicy it is actually spicy which is so rare in England. I order a few times a month and am never disappointed.

Lovely curry, great service and would definitely come back. The only downside is we taken our little one and there was no baby changing available. Luckily enough baby didn't have an accident and he was happy sitting there, eating his chips and chicken nuggets.

15 of us ate a Gandhi take away curry last night at the Fordham British Legion and we all agreed it was superb. Arrived on time with each persons order packed separately, loads of extras added. It was hot on arrival and very tasty. It was so good we are planning the next one. Thanks and well done to the Gandhi.

The food is very good, and quite a wide variety. You can find some spice here. The staff has always been wonderful. We like the BYOB policy as well.

fast delivery-price was good with online 20% discount-food was okay. Nothing really special. You won't like it if you like strong Indian food. It was too mild for me.

Really impressed on our first visit. Staff excellent. Food delicious. Only one little moan from me is that the garlic chicken could be just a litlebit spicier and contain definately more (fresh) garlic.It was a nice beng there on a quiet evening and I love the idea of bringing your own wine! I hope that next time it will be 5 stars!
