Gallows Kebab in Havering

Love this place been using for a few years now and never had a problem always hit food alway well cooked delivery is quick and u can pay online for the time u domt have cash at home my go to for a kebab or burger all day long love it

Asked for 2 large chips this was the size of them I've been going to this place for years now they've let me down

Kebab meat not the freshest... can of pop burst open everywhere. Ibelive in 2nd chances however. 🤔😏 il pass. Staff are friendly thought.

Lovely Turkish hospitality, struggled to find a decent Turkish after a few bad experiences but this was great. Chicken was cooked to perfection, the doner was tasty and the salad was just how we wanted. Glad we tried it, definitely will be recommending. Teşekkürler.

Just bought a Donna kebab from here , got it home it's so full of fat and grease I cannot eat it ! It smells greasy . It really has put me off of buying from here again . When I phoned them to tell them all I was told was it's not worth here fault but the supplier !!! Very nice 👍. You have lost me as a customer .

My family used to order quite regularly from here, I called up one evening asking for 3 doner kebabs and a large chips. The chips came as a small (after paying for a large) so I rang back explaining what had happened to see if they could bring some extra as I only live round the corner. They basically said no, I have to deal with what I had been given and they would give extra next time. There customer service was extremely poor and I haven’t been back since. The kebab is also very flimsy and thin plus you don’t get much of it.

Didnt enjoy the chicken shish, chilli sauce was like water, pickled cabbage wasnt for me, should've gone for KFC.

This Kebab van has been there for years may be different people but it's excellent Burgers melt in your mouth and chicken Shish excellent

Its okay here. Not a fav. Pickled salad. Its 50/50 here, like marmite, some love some hate.

A good early hours of the morning chicken kebab after a 200 mile drive. It really hit the spot!!

Food is nice but the portion size was pathetic. Chicken kebab small. 10pc of chicken like popcorn chicken size and wife doner meat and chips. Where's the doner meat? Oh there it is, just 10 strips. EDIT:......... 2 years later (2020) ordered chicken burger and chips and large mixed kebab. Chips are just chips anyway, burger bun was moist as it should be, most places have dry buns, perfectly cooked and tasty chicken. Mixed kebab, really tasty and honestly decent portion size, so I'd say they have changed over 2 years, being more generous with Thier portions and keeping up the great taste. WELL DONE GALLOWS!!!!!!

Never had any issues with the food from GK. Always great service and the owners are great. Could not fault their food 👍

I bought cheesy chips with burger sauce which I left in the packaging for our 10 min journey home....when I got home, the cheese hadn't even melted...awful soggy cold chips. Don't bother with this place.

Food was freezeing cold and taste like cardboard ring them up and there the rudest people I've ever spoke to would not recommend shame I can't put 0 stars cause that's what it deserves

Would give no stars if possible. The chicken (kebab) was of terrible quality and substandard as well as containing gristle; I could have cooked a better kebab in my tumble dryer. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!

Ordered food at Counter, went away after paying to check food, half the order missing, went back and told them after a debate they replaced the food, got home, food was wrong, came back to yet another debate but they did correct it once again.

I wrote a review of this place about an hour or so ago ,,,well I want to take it back,every single word I wrote praising it up I take back,,,I am absolutely blown away by the lack of any kind of customer service by the man who served me,I use served very very loosely I might add. I know what I requested when I ordered it n I know I didn't get it and when I queried it-3times I was grunted at,it took me all my strength not to tell him where to shove it. I paid over £6 for this food so I expect it to b what I requested,but it wasn't,not only that I offered to pay xtra for what I requested. So I'm not sure if I got charged xtra or not. Once home-5min walk-i was even more dissatisfied,it was freezing,didn't have what xtra I had asked for. The whole experience was embarrassing for me he made me feel like I was stupid or something, customer service absolutely appalling. I will never ever go back it tastes bloody awful,chicken kebabs from here have always been my favourite well not anymore the tell tale for me was that because of my mood I didn't want to judge unfairly but like I say the tell tale was that even my Dog wouldn't eat it!!!!!! My dog will literally eat anything but when I offered twice to him n he turn his nose up that says it all. Shame on you Gallows Kebabs,I'm gobsmacked at the difference,wish I'd never wrote such a fab review on just eat B4 I went,have tried to edit or remove but it won't let me. Do not go here, seriously I am all for giving 2nd chances n not judging ,,everyone can have off day but the service shown to me by the 2 men in that van was horrendous n then the food just added insult to injury.im taking stars away this place gets 0.

Amazing staff. This van is very good value for lots of fast foods and is open till 2am every night. This comany has been open for 32 years. A lovely Bulgarian man has worked there for 6 years and is very happy. They offer fizzy drinks. Chips. Doner kebab. Shish kebab. Burgers. *Vegatarian option* which I think is very important. There could be some more vegan / veggie options this would make This comany 100% for example hummus and salad and vegan pitta bread (also vegan buns and vegan burgers with salad) The location is very good for people to visit. There is a bin outside the van. There is no public toilet here. The van is painted amazing art to advertise different delicious meals. They also offer *just eat* which means they do a delivery service too. (Minimum order £15 for delivery) They also offer eggs inside the burgers, eggs are very high in protein. They do chips and cheese. They do chicken nuggets. There is a kids meal option 4 chicken nuggets, chips, and a drink for £3.20. They also offer wraps as well as kebabs and burgers. 01708 386 666 delivery is 5 p.m. till midnight and open 7 days a week. Opening times if you go to the van 5 p.m. till 2 a.m.. ------ This is a very beautiful van and I recommend it and the staff are very kind and the food is delicious recommended 5 star ++++++

Very poor quality and chilli sauce tasted of tomato puree

Have been using Gallows kebabs for years and the experience my partner had with them last night was absolutley disgusting. After taking a 20min walk to them and arriving at 11:57 to order a small doner kebab he was told that they are only serving large kebabs at this time of night. Only taking £5, as this is usually enough, he was told he would need to pay for a large kebabs at £5.80 and couldn't have a small one. They were blaring music like it was a night club. The attitude of these people were disgraceful. They lost custom last night, £5 Is still £5. My partner owns a Burger van and would never dream of turning a customer away. He would even allow his customers to order there food if they were 80p short. Like I said a £5 is a £5. Avoid this Gallows kebabs.

God knows what the other guy is talking about! Always get offered salad and sauces. The kebab is amazing, very rarely do we get a 'bad piece' and there is no grease! Its just a full on burst of flavour! best kebabs in essex by far

Small portions. No difference between small or medium or large. No offer of sauce or salad. Been 3 times and everyone was a poor experience. Gave benefit of the doubt by going back before writing review. Want to take the money money service and portions are poor. Better off at hilldene.
