This cafe is a great place to go. Iv visited a few times with my girlfriend who had already been a number of times over the past5-6 years. Food is excellent and prices are fantastic we love the mega breakfast and a brew for £5. Best in blackpool and we have tried a few. We always recommend people go there. Great customer service too. Very happy customers

This cafe is brilliant all around! The food is fantastic great taste and presentation. There is always someone at the counter always smiling and friendly with great service! Wide verity in food and drinks! Very clean and hygienic! Great for families or even just on your own!

This the 3rd year we have went straight to this cafe for food. The prices have not increased and the food is always fantastic and reasonable.

Just had an excellent 3 course lunch for £6.50. Nice clean premises, pleasant staff and good quality food at a very good price. Only downside was the chef who served our meal was wearing a football shirt which some may find offensive lol. I'll be back. 😄

Visited this cafe on 2 occasions and the food was good and reasonably priced. First meal was steak pudding, chips, mushy peas, 1 bread and butter and mug of tea £4.40 secondly beef diner with soup to start, mug of tea £5.40. Would recomend

Lovely Sunday dinner so good we went back on Monday,great portion sizes on main meals and the puddings ,staff very friendly and accommodating,all freshly made well worth a visit .

Three course meal six pound fifty soup roast dinner and pudding friendly people good sevice never had a disappointing meal .

I love The Galley. The family run establishment provides good basic food and bog standard drinks but that's exactly what one wants in such a place. There are many daily regulars at this cafe which speaks volumes.

Came to Blackpool for a 2 day stay and stumbled across this cafe on the first day - it was so nice we came back on the second day. Very reasonable and the food is delicious - a 3 course meal for only £6.50! highly recommend the lamb and mint sauce dinner.

I work in Blackpool and I come here regularly for my lunch. I normally have the full English breakfast which is fantastic! Ingive a tip every time! However, no atmosphere!

When I arrived with a college, they had sold out of almost everything. The place was half full and everyone in there looked full up.It was almost closing time. So we chose what was left. I had Shepherds Pie and lots of tasty veg and my friend had a Ham and Cheese Omelette with Mushrooms on the side.We had two pots of tea and a coffee. We paid £15 including a tip.The waitress (Shannon) was very friendly and deserved a tip.Good, Old Fashioned English Food that really tasted as good as My Own cooking, if not better.

The food is nice and is a reasonable price, would go back again. I recommend a visit to anyone who enjoys classic English dishes.

Tried this restaurant purely by chance as we wanted to see the lights and parked our car near by!!Great food for great prices. We had the fish special and we could not fault it for £5.20 you even got a mug of tea and bread and butter, with your fish & chips & peas. Garlic bread & cheese was also a good add on and our daughter loved the cheesey chips with gravy.In expensive good value, good food and friendly service, will definately return some time when visiting Blackpool. Great advice on driving to Bispham to drive through lights thanks to the owner.Karen & Steve & Siennax

great little cafe, lovely friendly staff, my parents told me about this place n we went in April this year n then went 2 Blackpool on Sunday 4 my bday wit my little girl Jessica, parter n parents n we went back again n it was great lovely home cooked cooked food yet again, will be back again xxx

I had lunch at the Galley Cafe one afternoon during my visit to Blackpool. My family and I enjoyed the inexpensive English comfort food and the wonderful cast of characters coming and going during our meal. Service was friendly and we were well taken care of.

we go every week and i am definately going to agree that it is a winner for a hangover cure, and the food is great

Really really good food here, and it comes really fast as well, you go up to counter to order and it seems as if me and my husband had only just sat down when the food arrived and was really nice I had lasagna and my husband had cottage pie which he said was really nice too, overall from me brilliant little cafe, worth every penny

i was walking down topping street and noticed the cafe, i used to work on a boat myself so i thought i would go in and see what it looked like, it was really dark inside, but i thought that it was suited because after all it is meant to be like a galleon, there wasnt many people in so not much of an atmosphere but had radio on which was ok for me, also i didnt have much to eat but it was cheap and the staff were freindly as well, but if your out and about i would deffinitely go and try this place out, ive been back several times now.

Been to the Galley several times usually just for the breakfast good value and great cup of tea, place looks old and tired but that maybe as i been going for years when in BlackpoolDecent honest enough food quite prompt service

some times the food is great but. some times it is under cooked like the last time i ate there, only 2 staff who look like they dont want to be there, could do with a make over as it looks so dark and old

when i came through the door, the cafe was tidy and clean and looked really good, and the theme of being in a ship was really good too.the food came quickly which was good, and i was expecting it to not be of best quality but, i was proven wrong, everything and i mean everything was done perfectly, down to the smallest touches, everything was perfect.i think this cafe should definitely get a visit if passing by you definitely wont be dissapointed.

Me and 4 friends went to this cafe for Sunday lunch on 06.06.10. The cafe was supposed to resemble a ships galley but found the whole place to be dark and dingy. The staff however where found to be very friendly. The service was very quick and efficient however.... our first course was soup of the day or fruit juice, the soup was extremely thick, so 1 slice or 2, fruit juice was orange squash. The main course arrived and our eyes lit up at the size of the portions.... however the meat was a poor quality cut, the vegetables where not fresh and the gravy was water with a hint of colour, overall the meal had very little taste, the dessert apple crumble and custard *3 ice cream *2 - Apple crumble came with very thick custard poured over the top which left the crumble soggy and tasteless, however the ice cream went down a treat!!!!! Overall we would go again to try something different as the menu had a very good selection of meals,
