GAIL's Bakery Brook Green in Hammersmith and Fulham

Served by Michael. Have been away for a few weeks. However, Michael remembered exactly the coffee I usually have. Served with a smile and positive attitude. Managed to create a design in the oat milk on top of decaf Americano too! Fab. Michael's a great credit to 'Gails'. If your coffee's made by Michael I'm sure it'll be one of the best coffees you'll have! Coffee has a great taste at 'Gails' too!

Gail's is a chain but this is the only one that I've been too. Went there 10-15 times over the course of a month in London. Excellent bakery items.

We stayed round the corner for a long weekend and came here every day. It’s a wonderful bakery - the freshly baked produce changes regularly and the quality is superb. Outstanding, tasty. interesting things to eat and our coffe was excellent. Not cheap, but worth it. Sad to see some or the other reviews on here bringing it down - not at all deserved. We highly recommend.

I go here pretty often as a change-up for working from home, and unfortunately, almost every time there's something a little meh about the experience. Silly prices aside (over £4 for a small bottle of orange juice is ridiculous, let's be real), the service is just never warm. When you go into a place like this, you're sort of hoping for a light, friendly atmosphere. I go out of my way to be extra friendly and bright, and still, the servers' energy often feels like they're doing a big favour serving you. I am conscious they work long shifts and really don't expect anyone to be faux happy, but just friendly and kind isn't a lot to ask in this type of position. Also, on more than one occasion, I've arrived 30 minutes before the kitchen closes only to be told it was already closed. Why? No reason, clearly, other than they just felt like closing it early, which is pretty crappy if you have an order in mind and are specifically popping in for it. Lastly, there are often flies freely flying around the baked goods. Like, come on :'). You can do better. You're not infallible just because you're a more established chain. The worst cappucino that I have ever tasted. I made it clear that I liked it very hot. They said no problem. First sip and it was extremely watery weak and luke warm. I took it back and when I mentioned this to the barrista, her reaction was as if I was not telling the truth. They didn’t say sorry or offer a replacement. Their reaction was to insert a thermometre in it. Plus, this place is extremely expensive for the quality. Their floureless cake, proudly displayed in their photos is a child's 2 bites only priced at £4.40. Will never ever go there again even if they were offering free coffee. I have been through other reviews and many have had similar experiences. Reply from those who look after Gail's on social Media was: " Thank you for your feedback and we'll pass it on to the team" either this was a lie or the team don't listen? Just avoid and dave your time and money.

The food is expensive, but it is good.. Coffee good.. Do not sit outside unless you like junkies and drunks sitting next to you, drinking beer from the off-licence or smoking drugs.

...if not the worst. The coffee was tasteless and far too hot. When i returned it the waitress looked me up and down before she made me a loveless replacement... which was nearly as bad as the first one.

I was staying in the area at a B&B that did not serve breakfast so I ate here on a couple of occasions The food was fresh and the service was very good Worth a visit

Asked for 2 cakes only got 1 and was charged for two .... poor quality and the prices are outrageously high I expect a refund ASAP .

We didn't ate bad but we didn't eat gret. The water had a strange flavour and the cheese was not Great either. The sausage roll was delicious and the desserts too
