if you were to ask me how i felt about this bakers, id say i love it. if you were to ask me on a deeper level id say this is the most amazing incredible bakers in hawick, possibly anywhere. the food is immaculate and flavourful and the workers are always so nice. i love going there super early just to eat their food, sometimes i even stay up all night excitedly waiting for this bakers to open. please never ever close

Been going to this shop for over 25 years ,started going when a was on a nightshift ,been going everytime I am in hawick ,the steak and chicken pies are amazing ,the cakes are brillant ,not badly priced either , great staff , has to be the best bakers in the borders

To put it simply...Everything in this shop is brilliant 👏 Fudge is out of this world, rolls are great, staff is great!

Very rude staff here who have very poor customer service skills. It’s like they don’t want your custom. I was snapped at because I asked for something which had ran out, and was provided with no alternatives given even when I tried to suggest other things. So rude and I will never be back. Shame, as I have had similar experience in the past with this place but I thought I’d give it another go as it is good food but never again will I be back.

Great products at reasonable price

The coconut tart was lovely. The loaf I bought however had a date sticker on the bag of five days previous, we did not realise this until we reached our holiday cottage in Melrose, straight in the bin. The service was friendly.

Good bakers with a large selection of hot and cold food

Super yummy cakes!! We were holidaying near by and loved the cakes so much we went back the next day for more. The pies looked delicious too! Very reasonable as well! They also offered hot foods and salads to take away.

There filled rolls are great and when i go home i have to take 12 wellfired rolls for my partner as he says they are the best

Always a great selection of goodies to be had, and the rolls are brilliant.

Roll on sausage with cheese x2, roll was dry as anything, sausage was already cooked and cold, thrown in a microwave and re heated, one bite and it was like chewing rubber, will not be back

Had a gorgeous caramel yum yum from here, would highly recommend them. Didn't realise that there was also a very good selection of savoury things until I went in. Would be a good place to throw a few things in for a last minute picnic lunch!

Another awesome bakery in the Borders - if you get one thing from here, get a custard slice. Don't go if you're diabetic or on a diet - the range is small but everything is made on the premises and is well worth calling in for.
