Came to this restaurant tonight for a meal and as we looked on the website beforehand we booked for 5:45 because of the early bird deal. After sitting down and getting a drink we were then told that they weren’t doing the early bird or the compare the market which they’re signed up for. Then we started looking at the menu and realised that they have raised all there prices due to the eat out help out deal. A portion of soft noodles at 5.50 is just totally ridiculous and sweet and sour chicken at 10 pound is daylight robbery so safe to say we shall never be going back there and we would strongly suggest no one else does either

We had a very special meal here I enjoyed it it was quiet at the time I booked to eat here it started to fill up later lots of people of all ages there is a function room for parties and it always seems to get used in the visits I've done in the past

Once up on a time the was a fantastic little place but over the years. I’m not going to kick anyone when they are down but the two star rating the restaurant has is will deserved. The food I was given was obviously reheated and of poor quality. I will leave you too judge the rest and I will keep my eye in the rating before I visit this establishment again

Lovely, friendly staff who were very welcoming and the food was nice, although the starters were a little too greasy for our liking. However, we found the food to be on the expensive side. For example a side of noodles cost us £5.50. We had a meerkat meals code which allowed us 2 for 1 on starters and mains but it still came to £43 for two of us with a glass of wine and a pint of Diet Coke.

We often have a takeaway from Fusion. Our friends are amazed at the quality. The food is excellent, ready about 15 minutes from ordering, and piping hot. This is not a chippy takeaway but restaurant food. With the added bonus of 30% off the restaurant price.

First of all when we came in the man was very unwelcoming and rude, after we had ordered our food he made us pay the bill before the food! Which I found very rude and I felt like I was being treated like a tramp who couldn’t pay for the food. I will never eat here again very very poor service.

We came to Fusion for a meal last night before going to the theatre with family, we love our food and especially Chinese but we hadn’t heard of this place so wasn’t expecting too much!We all had the classic banquet which we shared and I cannot fault 1 aspect of it! The food, drinks, service, speed, everything! The quality and taste of the food was the best I have had at any Chinese restaurant, will definitely be recommending and returning!

The Sunday buffet is advertised till 4.00. A tip if you go in after 3.00 (like 3.10) don't expect an extensive buffet as three out of the six "main dishes" were empty and not refilled. The starters selection was OK but a few were dried out. Soup, beef dumplings and crispy duck were good. Big downside is it was like eating at a Spice Girls concert the music was unbearably LOUD. Thai no idea where the Thai food was it is ChineseIf you do go for the Sunday Buffet go early and take ear plugs.

Visited this Resturaunt as the one I usually use in Saddleworth has inexplicably shut down. Pleasantly surprised and the food was excellent as was the service. Unobtrusive but efficient.It wasn’t particularly busy on a Sunday evening and you could see the pretend Italian Resturaunt called Mazzo which was next door was busier, however when you are paying top dollar prices for a supposed Italian Resturaunt in Royton and people are going in with football kit on, give me the Chinese every time.I will certainly be returning to Fusion.

We like Chinese/ Asian fusion this is a very nice place particularly good for groups it was full on this occasion but we did get a take away which kept hot till we got home they also have a private function room which was also busy just picked the wrong night to go could have booked but was a spur of moment cause the original place I was going to wasnt up to it so you know it's always best on a Saturday to book but as we said spur of the moment thanks for the take out

Big group of us visited recently for a friends birthday. The food was lovely can't complain about that at all.

We booked for a meal on Valentine’s Day. They had made an effort with the decor and the service was very friendly and prompt. We didn’t ever feel rushed and they even asked if we wanted to wait for our mains after our mixed starter, which is nice and refreshing! They didn’t have the early bird menu on as it was Valentine’s Day; which was a given really!

Amazing food, reasonable price and excellent customer service! Highly recommended. It was a pleasant surprise as we didn't know what to expect.

Went the for a change as not been there for ages. Had the prawn crackers and sweet corn soup followed by the sweet & sour chicken for me and special chow mien for other half. Might go again however can find somewhere better than here!

Hi, we visited here just after 7pm on a Tuesday night, they do a special £9.95 per person menu from 4.30pm - 7pm, we got there at 7.10pm and they were happy to still offer us this menu. We were sat straight away by a very welcoming and friendly waitress. The food was delicious and good size portions. I have never been before but my husband has (many years ago) and we both enjoyed it and will definitely return and will recommend.

First time I’ve visited here with my partner and we enjoyed every second of it, we had the Fusions classic banquet from starter to dessert we enjoyed every bit of the food, especially the duck and the chicken and sweet corn soup, provided table service, friendly staff, will definitely be returning.

Ive been here a few times and they never fail to make an amzing meal! The staff are friendly and much more interactive than the staff next door at mazzo. Would recommend this restaurant to all my friends its a must go!

Been on several occasions and the food and staff are great,eaten off both menus and can't fault the place.

This is a lovely restaurant with friendly staff and We used to visit here very regularly but hadn't been for a while. our favourite dishes used to be the sea dragon and massaman curry however this time we had them, they had that much chilli and flavouring in them, it completely spoilt the dishes and although we like spicy food it was really unpleasant. They were really hot and all you could taste was the chilli. It made the dish really unpleasant and we had to drink loads of water to stop our mouth from burning.My friend who was with me said her food also had too much chilli. I do really like this restaurant so would come back but would ask for the food not to have so much chilli in it. There isn't a need for it and the food us lovely without it.

Went here on a Groupon voucher, I am glad I did not pay full price. Good portion sizes but the food was not all that great. I ordered a glass of house wine and was shocked to see that I had been charged £7 for it! Way more than I have ever paid. I would not go back here.

I have eaten here on a number of occasions, but as it is not cheap decided to have a take away. Service was a bit slow to get my order but there were a lot of collections and a two couple in the restaurant. The food was very good and tasty, portions were god and it is worth a visit. Itwas only when we had finished that I realised I had not had the discount offered for collecting my takeaway as opposed to having it delivered. The costs are possibly 10% higher than would be expected and there is not too much atmosphere On most nights when eating in,

Went last night with a groupon deal for 4 courses and a glass of prosecco. The deal was actually the early bird menu so we weren’t saving using the deal and actually paid more, and although ok the food was average. The prosecco was the laughable part as it definitely wasn’t prosecco and looked and tasted like a flat lemonade, and 3 other tables also complained/sent theirs back. One of the other tables had been before and had proper prosecco so they definitely were pulling a fast one. We ended up buying bottles of wine which we didn’t budget for so I suppose they got what they wanted. Feel like I was ripped off to be honest.

Did this on a Groupon on a Thursday early evening so the full extent of service could not be assessed because the place was far from being full. Otherwise nothing to complain about food was good based on a set Groupon offer menu, tasty, nice...

We arrived a little late due to road works but that wasn't really a problem for the very attentive staff, who were friendly, helpful and eager to please. We went on a Groupon voucher which bought us a 4 course chinese or thai meal including all the usual suspects: sweet and sour chicken, pad thai, chicken and sweetcorn soup etc... Some of the dishes were better than others but overall we were quite impressed with the food. The deal also included a glass of prosecco which went down very nicely in its frozen flute! All in all we enjoyed our time in this above average restaurant but the friendliness of the staff made the difference, we probably wouldn't go back because its quite far from where we live but if your from that neck of the woods and haven't tried it, give it a go!

T'was a icy bone chilling winter's day, with a strong wind that bellowed through my bedroom window, unfortunately the glistening sparkle of pearly white snow was non existent which made the start of the day uncomfortable and disappointing.

This will definitely be my last ever visit to Fusion. I had to return both my starter and my main dish. Presentation was poor and the taste of the food even worse and both were most definitely re-heated! BAD!

There was an offer on Groupon website for a 4 course meal and a glass of prosecco which I couldn’t resist, the selection was very good, food was lovely, hot and plenty of it, staff were very friendly and accommodating, nice atmosphere. Went here tonight for a pre hen night meal with my sister, niece and daughter and was quite happy. As soon as walked in was welcomed to the bar whilst waiting for sister to come. Was shown to our table and had a matter and ordered drinks and food. We ordered ribs, seaweed, spring rolls and prawn toast, the waitress suggested prawn crackers which were nice. For main meals we had chilli beef, sweet n sour and beef chow mien..ended up with full bellies and quite happy family!!

I have been visiting this restaurant for 20 years and have noticed in the last year a real deterioration in the quality of food, especially the takeaway. The order is regularly wrong and the food tasteless.There is also a very unfriendly atmosphere, especially from the male head of staff and it's uncomfortable to watch how he treats the young waitresses.This is a real shame as it was once such an asset to royton.

I ordered a take-away and picked it up 10 minutes later at 8pm on Sunday evening. I had been a couple years ago and enjoyed the chicken cashew and egg fried rice dish, so ordered it again. However, I can only describe it as being the worst Chinese takeaway I've ever had. The chicken tasted reformed/rehydrated in texture and basically the whole dish was tasteless and watery. The meal cost £8.25 which is quite pricy for a take-away but didn't mind paying for good quality food. Because the food was of such poor quality I've ever had, I felt I compelled to write a review. Suffice to say I will not be returning.

I visited Fusion Restaurant yesterday, taking my wife, parents and Father-in-Law for a Father's Day treat. The Sunday Buffet is great value for money and kept well stocked. There is always a great selection of starters / main courses / desserts and all the staff are very helpful and friendly.Thank you Raymond and Rowena for another excellent meal.

I visited today, Sunday, with a friend of mine, who had seen this restaurant advertised on facebook, she said it looked really good going off the pictures of the food! How disappointing it was, it was a buffet with a choice if 4 mains, starters of curled up seseme prawn toast, without the prawns, dried up BBQ chicken wings, pancakes, cucumber and hoi sin sauce but no duck, then when I went up there was no pancakes, so I had to ask for these, no Dim Sums as pictured on facebook, sweetcorn soup with NO chicken!!!! the trays had hardly any food in them, the waitress who was English, had a miserable face, I asked for a jug of water and she told me " we don't have jugs of water" , then I asked for a glass of water then please, and she pulled her face and walked off to get me one.Fair enough it was only £8.99 per person,but a bottle of wine was £16.99, which I find is quite expensive, it's more like the price you would pay in manchester not royton!The seaweed was lovely!! There's no atmosphere, felt like I was sat in a canteen, looking out to some wheely bins parked up outside the window, needless to say I will not be going back again!

As far as Chinese goes, this is one of the best in the area form both food and service. The staff are friendly and the food is of a good standard too. Yes it's not the busiest place to be although I would recommend booking, but it has a nice vibe and feeling, although there is no back music.I chose the a la carte menu personally and will choose this option again when I return.If your looking for a nice place to eat in Royton, give this place a try.

Booked for the new years eve caberet and meal party which was £35 a head which at the time we thought was reasonable for new years eve. The meal started with soup and prawn crackers at 7.30 which we missed cos we got there late so our fault, next was spring rolls, seaweed, rib and a chicken wing, 1 for each person on the table, by 10pm the main dishes had not even been served! But when they came they were very nice but we asked for some chips for a teenager on our table but they never arrived. The food though long winded in service was quite nice actually. The entertainment left a lot to be desired, she was not very good and really quite boring and not very professional for the price we had paid for the evening, also they did a free raffle which was very nice of them but took so long to do as they had each winner do a dance before giving them their prize. By the time the raffle was done it was around 11.15 and people were starting to leave, by the time it was 12pm half the room had left so killing the new year atmosphere somewhat, also the bar shut dead on 12 which on a new years eve is really bad. All in all a disappointing evening and we will not be returning to a new years party night again, that said though if you just want a chinese meal any other time the food was quite nice

Ordered a takeaway and words can't describe how bad it was. Chicken Gyoza was presented in a decent size box but the surprise was to come when I opened it and there were three gyoza and a bit (and I mean a bit) of salad that looked like it had been picked up off the kitchen floor. I thought the gyozas must have fallen out of the box but no! Three measly gyoza was all you got!! Also ordered Salt & Pepper King Prawns. I was originally ordering them as a starter but when asked if it was for starter or main course I took a main course portion!! I love them so much!! Glad I did as to me it looked like a starter portion, only 6-7 prawns and not much else, no garnish or anything!! I'd have been seriously peeved if I had ordered the starter portion, I'd have probably got three prawns to match my three gyoza!!! Never again!!!

The food was fine but s little on he expensive side when the full bill came. It was very quiet for a Friday night. Just a table of 5, two tables of 2 and our table of 4. A function was on upstairs. Decor is dated and I would scrap the two TVs. The room was however quite cold. No atmosphere.

Received a warm and very friendly welcome when arriving, restaurant is a good size with a separate function room upstairs.Restaurant offers a very tempting range of Chinese and Thai dishes, we usually have reservations about Chinese restaurants that diversify into Thai food but Fusion have over the last few years manged to get it pretty much spot on, the Chinese dishes are always very tasty and well presented and the Thai dishes have very good flavours and spice levels, you can also choose the spice level you want with some of the Thai dishes.A good selection of wine is offered including the very lovely Giddy Goose Sauvignon Blanc.Overall a nice restaurant that offers high quality Chinese/Thai food that you would normally have to travel into Manchester to enjoy.One other thing we like about the restaurant is the great music that plays in the background.

my friend works there and the staff do receive tips, they share them out at the end of each month. and I'm a regular customer too and the staff are extremely helpful

The food is good and of a high quality. Service is fine but they can't seem to leave you alone to eat - the owner (?) is constantly asking if you want more drinks or pouring the wine out and you begin to feel a bit harassed. Young staff are lovely but I have found out that the tips being given to the staff are put into a tub on the bar and then it 'disappears' into the back and kept by the restaurant - not a good practice in my eyes and this puts me off going too often.

Very nice. Good service and good place to go out for birthdays and special occasions. Great food, my favourite being the lobster or the salt and pepper ribs. And overall a wonderful place to visit. 5/5

We have been with friends several times to this restaurant and never disappointed. The food they offer is indeed a fusion with lots of choice. An added attraction is that you can watch your food being cooked on CCTV. There is a little steam!

There's no atmosphere !!! We was very disappointed with the service and food. We waited ages for our main course but can't understand why. It was very dry and boring not because of what we ordered as we have the same food at other places and enjoy it just fancied a change. Over priced microwave meal in our eyes. Will not go back.

Very disappointed on our last visit. Overpriced and poor service. Kitchen seemed to concentrate on serving takeout than those waiting to be served. BBQ ribs were tough as old boots and inedible and charged at £7.00. Will be a long time before we return.

Having been told by a nearby Thai restaurant that no food could be served at 8.30pm we walked to fusion. We were made to feel welcome immediately and were not rushed at all to choose our meal. We chose the Thai banquet which was absolutely lovely. The staff were friendly and totally opposite to what we encountered earlier. Would recommend

This was our second visit, and whilst we were seated beneath the Television there was no issues on us changing tables.Good was as good as the first time, lots of choice and reasonably priced.Service was excellent and although not busy, we were served promptly and piping hot.

Fantastic party food and venue. The bar staff worked very hard and very good value for money. The room is very clean and spacious and management are professional and helpful. The buffet was well prepared and good value for money.

My wife and I have been customers for many years. The night we visited we found the food very poor. The hot and sour soup was a very small portion and had very little in it just a few prawns and a few vegetables. The salt and pepper squid was cut so thinly as to be almost non existent and as a consequence was so over cooked it was just edible. the main course was good but a little burnt. We will not visit again.

We visited this restaurant only to find there was no one else in but decided to go in anyway. The two girls serving were lovely and service was excellent which as we were the only ones in should have been. We had a sharing starter and there were plenty of tasty starters at £7.00 per head great value for the amount we got. Then we had two main courses from the menu.. a rice dish with chicken, prawns and cashew nuts and a chicken pad thai noodle dish.. both were fantastic and full of wonderful flavours. I thoroughly enjoyed this meal and will definitely be back. This restaurant deserves to be full every night and I would recommend it as a welcome change .

We decided to try the sunday buffet. I had never been before so didnt know what to expect. We usually go to big world buffets. Yes there isnt as much choice but that doesnt mean its not good. The food was lovely the beef in black bean was so nice. The hot and sour soup was lovely. The staff were great. One lady in particular was really nice and friendly. It was quiet and not overly busy which is great. Drink prices are expensive but they always are in Buffets. We will defo go again. Visited with friends last night using Tastecard.Monday night, so expected it being quiet and it was - despite being Cinese New Year.The food was good, but I did make the comment that it should be served on warm plates - all 4 dishes soon were cold.Including just 4 beers (ladies were driving) bill was £54 after the deduction of £29 re the offer.I think £83 would have been expensive.Staff very pleasant and service quick.Would go again but only on the offer basis.

This is a great place to eat if you like Chinese & Thai Food. The staff are lovely and friendly, service is prompt and the food is amazing. They will make the curry as hot or as mild as you want it.

Firstly the meal was very nice. We booked the Christmas meal for a party of 24 in the upstairs function room. There were 10 tables together very tight together. We had the misfortune to have been allocated the table against the wall so if anyone in the middle wanted to get out at least 6 people had to get out first. I didn't think musical chairs were on the games menu.The DJ obviously hadn't made an effort with poor entertainment.Would I come back to eat in the restaurant - Yes. To a function - Never

Best Thai and Chinese food we've had in a long time, possibly ever! Honey roasted bbq ribs and chicken satay delicious starters, massaman tasty and packed with meat, bbq combo perfect for meat lovers! Friendly staff, great service and an extensive cocktail list ensure our return!

Visited Fusion for the 1st time today and was pleasantly suprised. The best Dim Sum I have tasted in a long long time. The mains were just as tasty. Highly recommend will be back soon.

Fusion is an amazing place to go to for Chinese and Thai food. The staff are great, really friendly, and the food is SO tasty.

I went to Fusion with my parents a week or so ago. Entering the venue, we were greeted by a friendly welcome by the front of house team and shown to our table. The restaurant was quiet with only two or three other tables occupied when we arrived. Half expected for a mid week tea time I suppose.Looking around the room as we waited for our food, I would have so say that the decoration and features did seem a little out of place. The room itself is reminiscent of a hotel dining room where everyone meets for dinner, appearing to lack some authentic features that would make it feel like you were at a /Chinese dining at a Thai/Chinese restaurant.. The level of lighting was a little too low and made it a little challenging to see certain items on the menu.In addition, and don't get me wrong, I love 80's pop music, but to hear the likes of Spandau Balet and Michael Jackson tracks whilst eating this particular type of food, again affected the atmosphere and the dining experience as a whole.. The food itself however was of good quality. Portions were ample. Food was well presented and service was efficient. I would rate the dishes we shared highly and did not seem to offer that greasy type taste caused by the inclusion of MSG that you sometimes associate with Chinese dishes of a lower standard.We ordered dishes that included soup, Salt and pepper ribs, Thai prawn crackers { far nicer than their Chinese counterparts in terms of flavour and texture} OK style Beef, Roast duck and a sizzling steak dish. The only one disappointment was that the duck was overcooked and did taste a tad dry. Would have expected better.Did not order any dessert due to plentitude of food already consumed but had a look at the menu and it did offer quite a wide array of alternatives. Whilst variety was good, the menu design was poor as due to the text overlapping the background design, it made it difficult to read them properly. Not great. So all in all, yes I would go back, but not in a hurry and more so if I was invited by others rather than by my own choice. Good food and they do offer a takeaway service which I might well make use of in the future as the variety of dishes on offer is impressive

Went on a Thursday night with my family of 6 and had a lovely night. There were so many choices on the menu that we had somewhat a hard time picking what to have and asked the staff there for some advice, who were very helpful. We had the flaming chicken, king prawn massaman curry, sea dragon, special chow mein, sweet & sour chicken with sides and loved it all!! The flaming chicken was especially nice as they served it with a show of setting it on fire and tasted brilliant. Price was good as well and would definitely recommend this to my friends.

Fantastic for Christmas parties, private functions and family and intimate meals. We use this restaurant for everything. They even deliver to us at the Hospital when we are on shift at the weekend. The food is always beautiful, piping hot, reasonably priced. The restaurant/function room are always well presented, spotless and have a great atmosphere. The service is always spot on.

Another top meal. Cannot fault this place at all. Staff lovely and nothing too much trouble for them and the food amazing as was last time. Price excellent for what we had and we even had to take food home there was that much. We will be back soon. Thank you fusion

Nothing really to like or dislike , average Chinese, high prices, family of 5 and it cost £110. Not much atmosphere as there was only one other family eating at the time and it is quite a large space

Came here after a heavy night out with my partner, we was the first there at 12.55pm and the buffet wasn't due to start until 1pm, the gentleman that was our waiter was so attentive and lovely! He kept bringing us drinks and ensuring we had enough to eat!The food was good but not much choice, although I can understand if not too busy on a Sunday.Still, I loved it and I will be back! Ps. Managers need to be kinder to their lovely staff as they are the most important assets of a business!!

Let me start off by saying the food is great and I can't complain about it, however aside from that I think the place should be shut down! I've visited a few time and each time noticed things that quite frankly piss me off! I have my own business and my staff are the most important asset of my business. At fusion the staff are always lovely and have been helpful everytime, however I've seen the so called managers of the place be very rude and disrespectful to the staff, I think it's dreadful the way they treat them and shout at them infront of customers and this has happened everytime I've visited!! I think the mangers need to take a course on how to run a business and treat there staff with respect! Disgusting!

Gone slowly down hill over past twelve months. Quality of ingredients now very poor. Even a chinese curry loaded with potatoes. And two pieces of chicken. Too many problems to list now. Upset more than angry. Need a new chinese

This used to me one of my favourite restaurants...and we dined regularly. The discount nights were great value, but for some strange reason they would never seem to get enough staff to serve which lead to very very poor service. The last time we dined was last April, it was 45 minutes before we were offered drinks, 1 hour 30 mins before we got our starters, and nearly 10.30pm before our mains arrived. The restaurant was hot and sweaty and our party decided never ever, because we had received such poor service (not even an apology) to dine there ever again.. and to date we haven't. We now dine next door at Mazzo's or go to Siam Orchid on Middleton Road, across the way.

We have been here 4 times now as a family and never been disappointed, staff are always happy to help and the food is the freshest tastiest Chinese ever.

We visit Fusion every so often as a treat - and what a treat it is!The Thai banquets are so good we rarely have anything else. The only change we make is asking the staff to substitute the excellent mussaman curry for the simply stunning penang curry.Every course is delicious and superbly presented, and the staff are attentive and friendly. Huge portions, fish that melts in your mouth, with flavours that bounce off your tongue - if we went once a week we'd never get fed up of Fusion.Very slightly more expensive than your average Thai / Chinese, but far, far superior in quality. We even loved the 80s background music!

Went on the 12th December for a night out at £25 per person. 4 course meal plus DJ etc . I had 3 diet cokes to start , over £7! The meal itself sadly lacked but because a friend booked I didn't want to moan as its rude . You didn't get enough as you was sharing plates that came round . But the food lacked taste and wasn't enough . Bar prices was a rip off . The ambiance amongst friends was good though . Sadly I wouldn't come back here

This was my first visit to the Fusion and definitely not my last. Arriving just before 7pm on a Tuesday we were offered the 'early saver' menu which offers a slightly restricted choice from the normal menu but at a price of only £9.95 for 3 courses or £14.80 if you add the shared duk with pancakes which I ordered. I have to say every course was absolutely delicious and hot napkins wereprovided between every course. The service was most attentive but not overly so and to finish off I had a 'Happy Birthday" song played over the music system and sung by the waitress! To add confidence to all diners there is a CCTV system in the kitchen which is shown on one of the screens in this wonderful restaurant.

It may have been our particular choices from the menu. The Steamed Sea bass that my wife ordered was too salty because of the Soya Sauce and full of bones. The Thai Green Curry was OK, but beware, rather hot and made with Packaged off-the-shelf sauce with no hint of 'fresh' Coconut or Coconut cream.Do not order the Vegetarian Curry Samosa - completely over-priced and made with Puff-Pastry although the curry filling was tasty.Our waitress was very attentive and catered admirably to avoid aggravating my allergy.Overall - very disappointed in the food compared to other similar restaurants that we've visited.

Found the food here terrible I got salt and pepper chicken and it was chewy and very seethrough and stringy, the salt and pepper chips were oven chips, the duck was undercooked and it was expensive despite this. I don't mind paying top prices if the food is good but this really wasn't. If you want a good Chinese we went to over 15 Chinese places and the best one is ruby king in shaw road Royton by far!!! Avoid fusion as my bottom was fused to the toiled the day after!!!
