Funky Feast in Maidstone

Beautiful flavours fresh ingredients and chef prepares as you like infront of you at record speed definitely recommend and first choice anytime I visit lockmeadow. Unfortunately at the moment they are closed Mondays but I guess everyone deserves a rest sometime

The food was phenomenal, I spoke to the chef and he advised on his best sellers. THIS MAN IS EXPERIENCED IN THE KITCHEN. Tell him how you want it and he will cook it like that. I said I like my food spicy. He’s not a lazy chef, he made a sauce separate and didn’t just use chilli powder. He pulled a red chilli out and tasted as he added. SENSATIONAL. Jollof rice was moist seasoned to perfection. The lamb chops though. THE LAMB CHOPS THOUGH. My lord juicer and tender, and seasoned so well. He really didn’t miss. And everything else he gave with it was equally as good pickled cabbage with just enough crunch but not too crunchy like raw cabbage. Some spiced, roasted aubergine which again cooked to perfection and well seasoned. And the hummus was also quality and well seasoned too. Hats off to this man.
