Quality of food VERY bad. Extremely disappointed. Dry chicken, cold Doner meat and rock hard pizza. The chips were dry and cold; pretty much inedible. The salad appeared fresh and the coleslaw was nice, but everything else was abysmal. A lot of food and money wasted.

Yay! we've finally found our pizza place 😋 speedy delivery, gorgeous yummy pizzas, no soggy bits or undercooked veg, fab sauce, great crust, just all round great. And the cheesy chips, every single chip was cheesy! The Mexican cheesy chips are incredible, yum yum yum.

Tasted absolutely fine. Removing a star because I was missing toppings from the parmo, not usually an issue but it was the only thing I ordered.

Ordered from here because we had a problem with ordering from our usual place and I'm so pleased we found it. We've had 2 deliveries and both times the food has arrived early, piping hot and was delicious.

Should be called Grotty Chicken! Our usual takeaway is a chicken kebab and a doner wrap. Used the reviews and ratings on here to find somewhere now. On appearances it looked fine BUT the chicken was tasteless. Zero flavour, certainly hadn’t been grilled and had an orange colouring on the outside - very odd. Wrap was greasy and doner was bland. As for the chilli sauce - awful. Not one for waste but ate half and threw rest away. Avoid!

First time using Funky Chicken, initially thought they delivered the wrong order however that wasn’t the case, ordered a 7 inch cheese and tomato pizza and turned up burnt around the edges, daughter didn’t want to eat and didn’t blame her, had to call up and ask for another!

Great Service as it was New Years Eve, I was expecting to wait until the estimated time. I’d asked to be rang when it arrived as we were having it delivered to a public place. It arrived 20 minutes early and the driver rang to let me know he was there. The Pizzas were hot and fresh and were really tasty. We would definitely use again

Out of about 20 orders from Funky Chicken we've only had one that was a bit late and a bit cold. Apart from that they deliver the best Parmo in Darlo!

Kebab wasn't great, pizza was nice. Not as good as the last time we ordered

Ordered 1 pizza and a half chicken and 5 wings, pizza was good rest of it , especially the wings were disgusting, they used spices and salt a lot of salt to cover the fact that there were altered. Also ordered roasted half chicken and wings and instead we've got all fried.

Just bought chicken burger & chips meal, £7 I wouldn't give it my dog, chips was over cooked and foul, the chicken burger was a frozen cheap warmed up burger, do not waist your money on this place, plus it's filthy inside don't know how they got a good hygiene rating, stay well away.

Ordered a hotshot parmesan, it came before the suggested time, and the driver was friendly. The parmo was massive, chips and salad bursting from their boxes, it was so much in there. Everything was so nice and fresh, the jalapenos were perfectly spiced, not too strong but hot enough. Thoroughly enjoyed this meal and we definitely order from here again.

Was shocked at how nice this was. Chicken burger was fab, loads of chicken in it and proper chicken, not the weird little plastic discs you get at some other takeaways. Other half said pizza was fab; top drawer ingredients and loads of cheese. Prices are a bit more expensive than other takeaways but you definitely get what you pay for, we won’t be going anywhere else now!

Our food was absolutely lovely. By far the best parmos we've had for a long time. If I had to criticize anything it would be that we ordered a coleslaw but received a salad instead, however the salad was fresh. Overall it was all really good.

It mite of been late, but its a Saturday night so it's understandable with it being most likely the busiest night if the week. The food was hot, and most off all very nice. Cooked well and full off flavour. Very strongly recommend this takeaway to any1. I'll deffo be using them again.

Excellent hands down the best takeaway I’ve had from a pizza place. Cheesy Garlic bread was full of flavour it seems like every other place uses flavourless mozzarella where as this was delicious.

Not sure why this place had such a good rating - we tried various pizzas and although edible topping and base were very dry. Cheesy chips were almost solid cheese as cooled. Won't order from here again.
