Fantastic people, well behaved .We order few food items for our home party. Food was so tasty and guests loved those . I always recommend their food , specially sweets who desperately wants to taste authentic Bengali food.

If you are looking for Best misti and Bengali traditional food this is the place you can visit. Highly recommended. Chef rofik is amazing. Better than misti desh, ponchokhana or other places. Better parking facilities .

Bangladeshi Sweet, fresh Zilebi and lunch or dinner are available in this store. I haven't tried their lunch or dinner but their Sweets are good.

Ordered 5 meat somosas and they gave me veg somosas instead that were tiny, greasy and I didn't like the taste. I ordered a coffee and it was like 2 sips and cheap coffee.. bloody rip off.. apparently veg somosa is £1 each and £2 for the coffee. I wouldnt mind if they weren't so tiny! I've had a lot better somosa that are 3 for £1. Looks like I won't be coming here again!! Very disappointing.

Just had a box of fresh jalebi given to my by the owner of this establishment and i can say they went down a treat, tasted excellent 100% fresh.

Very very nice food their paratas as amazing they do a spinach one and garlic one mouthwatering. Place could do with some background music or instrumentals. As it's full off freshies from Bangladesh who constantly sit there and speak about politics across the world. Sometimes it is abit annoying. Especially when you want to indulge in the amazing paratas. Trust me try them out. 10 10. And apart from the freshy customers wearing trousers with nike trainers. Please refrain from speaking about politics other customers certainly dont want to hear it.

Firstly, excellent customer service. Coming from a Bangladeshi background I hold high expectations when eating out at a Bengali restaurant - since we have a high standard of cooking at home already. However Mithai Ghor exceeded these expectations, providing traditional, authentic cuisine, at very high quality. All the best for the future, and you'll definitely be seeing me there again!

Lovely staff and very well coming to the local community very helpful and clean. It reminds me of a place that should be abroad in Bangladesh Shylet or Dhaka or something. Small cute place with all traditional sweets, biscuits cakes, food, etc. Your local tea and coffee shop with tongue twisting tastes off foods you might have tasted or want to taste or food to bring down when visiting family and friends. Experience it if you are ever passing. Trails of darkness, a main stream film with stars like Amaan Reza, Salma, Jangir, mohib and others which is being produced in around the UK. Birmingham Mithai Ghar was selected as a spot to do some recording. Thanks for your help and participating in the TLC projects, The Local Community Projects and a film that is coming soon produced by the G M Faruk and the Production Team. We'll done

Probably the best bengali restaurants in Birmingham. Staff were really good and they provided 5* service. I don't normally recommend people to restaurants but I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Khacchi Biriyani was the best. Everyone should try it

Great customer service, great food. We had an issue and this was resolved immediately with a sincere apology- testament to the service....service with a smile. Highly recommend the khachi biryani (meat) and the bhuna kichuri with ghorur mangsho bhuna (beef). Mixed grill starter was also flavoured nicely - the lamb chops were especially nice. We were going to leave having been stuffed to the brim (portion sizes are brilliant), but they managed to convince us to try a dessert.... the Iranian chom choms and if I’m honest, I was trying to convince myself I had more room to order more! Gem of a place hidden away. You may like to look at the menu.

Today I had a Iftet @ Mithai Ghor I think its was the best ifter in last 5 years its was one of the best ifter .also irani chochom was excellent.

Birmingham Mithai Ghor was brilliant. Not just the Mishti & foods, but the service and the care that is give to make you feel really special. Went for a tasting traditional Asian sweets & foods and it was perfect. let's be honest you are not going to be going here every week! The atmosphere was very relaxing, staff were very considerate.
