Bland food ,chicken didn't taste like chicken ,very expensive ,had to pick up take away ,which would have been fine if nice.Really wasn't worth the £50

We had Takoyaki, Chicken Katsu Tamago Toji Donburi, Seafood Yaki Udon and Beef noodle soup with pork broth. All were delicious, and served quickly by lovely people.

We heard that the food here was good and wanted to try it for ourselves. We ordered online for collection with a wait time of 35 minutes. Payment is in cash only, so no option to pay online. We chose a selection of dishes that we fancied, Takoyaki, Salt & Pepper squid, Seafood Yaki Soba, Donburri set of Seafood Fried Rice (with miso bowl) and Chicken Gyoza (pork bone broth and Japanese noodle). The shop is clean, tidy and all relevant H&S certificates were clearly visible. There are a few chairs available for anyone waiting for their order. I was greeted by a lovely Japanese lady, whom I paid and then just waited just a couple of minutes (I was early) and the food was ready. I could see a man cooking and, I presume, the daughter, came out to greet me also. She provided me with chop sticks and kindly gifted me some seaweed salad. Very happy, smiley family who thanked me for my custom and bowed. This is an authentic Japanese family whose food is simply delicious. Every mouthful was heavenly, fresh, perfectly seasoned, well cooked and a delight to eat. The photo doesn't do the food justice. There was so much that we couldn't finish it (note: we already had the prawn crackers; these aren't on the menu). We will be back. The cost was fair for the quality and quantity of the food received and certainly no more than you'd pay for a Chinese and cheaper than a Thai takeaway. If you enjoy trying honest, uncomplicated, tasty food, we definitely recommend trying this takeaway. Fuku in Japanese meaning joyful and lucky - we certainly were.

Really great experience. I ordered online for pick-up and when I arrived my food was ready for me, no waiting around. Lovely friendly service. All of the food was incredibly delicious, portions were a very good size and we will definitely be ordering again.
