Fui Sing Chinese Take Away in East Riding of Yorkshire

Very nice food and not too much of a wait time.

Had food from here many times. Always really good.. tasty.. and good value for money.

Bland food and grey meat in won tong definitely wont be going back🤮

Food was not very nice, chow mein was just noodles with veg & chicken on top, the starters were very small & dry.

The rice is so good how ever compared to our old Chinese takeaway there isn't much meat in it. You don't get much sauce at all, I'd recommend getting 2 for one meal. We received what seemed to be old warmed up chips which is strange because we ordered 20 minutes before their official open time and picked it up as they opened This is the first time ordering from them here will give them another chance, hopefully it was a one off

Delicious food and quick service. Staff are always polite and kind. There is a small waiting room when you order. It can be a little crowded when busy, but it has ussually been quite quiet when I have gone. There is a large menu and it is easy to sate even the fussiest eater. They have soom nice set menus at about £13 a person. Would recommend anyone that likes Chinese food give it a try. P.s. You can park in the layby out front, or across the road for free making collection quick and easy.

Service great and quick, however the chicken chow main was disappointing very glupy, no taste and the chicken was very slimy.

Best chicken chowmein and bbq spare ribs in the area. Service with a smile all the time.

Delicious hot food, good sized portions, reasonably priced and delivered with a smile! What's not to like??

Lovely little takeaway away, the staff could be a bit more friendly if you don't mind me saying. The food is superb though, I have the Special Chow Mein and what a delight it was to eat. I could taste all the meats, etc.. and the noodles were just right. The establishment is rather small and does have street parking outside but limited space. Overall, it's pretty good, and I shall be going back.

Used this take away many years moved out of area but still travel back after trying other take aways nearer phone order and collect no waiting highly recommended

Had chicken fried rice which was nice, prawn crackers - delicious and chips which were very dry and disappointing. They seemed to have been cooked some time before I got them. I will give them another try but won't have chips!

Can't beat this Chinese in this area, fresh food,service was fast and a good plate full

I was on holiday stayed at Florida keys a lodge and ordered chinease from here and it come within 20 mins and was so fresh and it was still piping hot I really enjoyed it highly recommend this place staff was amazing on phone

Was looking forward to our dinner but all left so disappointed the chow mein was like instant super noodles the chicken was slimey and as for the sweet and sour pork and chicken balls well surprised we didn't need a dentist after the batter was so hard and the meat inside so dry worst Chinese I've ever had and very expensive

They need to learn to add up, does £11.30 and £2.50 add up £15, doesn’t he earn enough without charging £1.20 for xtra very disappointed

Where do I start!!!!!! Just picked up food from here, salt and pepper mix for 2 sharing, it was an absolute disgusting load of mixed up old fatty food, and a special fried rice, nothing special about this rice dish at all. I wouldn't even give it my dog it .it was that bad. It went straight in the bin. Avoid it at all cost!!!!!!!

Good food. Stereotypically only take cash. Didn't open until 6 the other night so no good during the week if you uave hungry kids.

Where do I begin… I have come to Pocklington a few times now and in my humble opinion you can’t pass up the local Chinese… the staff was absolutely amazing and they get you the food in your hands so fast. I went for the salt and chilli chicken, prawn toast and chips with a curry dip, I swear your taste buds be treated to something special when you get a bit of the food! Just when I thought I was done boom! He hands me a free calendar for the new year, such a lovely gesture. I can 100% recommend this place for quality tasty food, have never disappointed me!

THE absolute best Chinese food! We've been customers for over a decade. The food is freshly prepared from scratch, always extremely tasty and top quality.... better than high range restaurants in York. Service is always friendly and quick. (We recently tried the other Chinese restaurant in Pock because it was a Tuesday and were deeply disappointed.) Fui Sing is the best!

Amazing food! Lovely staff, especially the young man on reception, he is very polite and quick! For a very busy Saturday night we got our huge order in 15 minutes and it was delicious! Keep up the amazing work! My favourite Chinese takeaway!

It's been a long time since we've ve had a good and tasty Chinese meal in this country . We'd recommend Fui Sing the quality and taste of our chosen meal was outstanding thank you so much we will see you again early next for sure xx

Found out where jacks gets its veg from (if you knew you would never eat there again) so i thought i would try fui sing. Woke up this morning at 4am being sick and dizzy havent stopped since i love Chinese food but NEVER AGAIN!!! Obviously cant be trusted

Out first take away since moving here. Really disappointing. Greasy prawn crackers, hot and sour soup was like eating sugar and the less said about the chicken chow mein the better (crunchy noodles dumped on top of slimy chicken) Definitely won't be going back.

Just had a very good takeaway. Ready on time, piping hot, all dishes well up to scratch and in the case of the Dim Sum Combination quite outstanding.

This place should be avoided as the food is DISGUSTING !!!!!! Two out of the three of us ended up with upset tummies , i didn't as i had a mouthful and spat it out as it was totally inedible. We rang and complained the same evening and were told we could have a refund the next day but , when went to get it was told they would only refund one meal we then had a discussion on the phone and then the full amount was given. I can honestly say this is the worst meal i have ever tried to eat and would not advise anyone to eat here.I eat chinese food quite often but this is the worst i have ever come across YUK.

really need to up your game in pocklington special fried rice horrible square pieces of processed meat, sweet and sour chicken really chewy i couldn't cut it with a knife the onions smelt foisty , i wont be coming back another thing i noticed was that normally i have heard the sound of woks in the kitchen , not on this occasion, i felt it could have been reheated in a microwave

Always get sweet and sour chicken balls, taste great not tried much else.

Do not eat here. This was the worst takeaway I have ever had. I have never reviewed any takeaway before but was driven to do so to ensure this place is avoided. Prawn crackers were greasy and tasted of something else they had clearly been cooked with. Prawn toast was literally sliced bread with sesame seeds, not even an attempt at adding any prawn to it. Ribs were fatty and in a very slimy sauce. Wonton were not made with wonton wrappers and were not filled pouches of park/prawn but flat folded filo with a small amount of sausage meat spread inside. Crispy chilli beef was just strips of batter with no meat in most and those that had beef tasted burnt and dare I say, old. Pork balls full of gristle and surrounding batter was stodgy and uncooked towards centre. I could go on, not one dish was cooked well. Definitely not fresh. Do not eat here.

Staying near by.... popped in for our tea.... bloody lovelly... only thing i would say is ring your order through first to avoid the wait.... but it was well worth it.. nomnom.👍🏻

The best Chinese takeaway I've ever had. All four main dishes and side dishes were delicious

First time I've had it and tried the vegetarian set menu, and was delicious! I'm often dubious about Chinese take away because so often they can really bland, greasy, overcooked and not authentic at all. But this was nothing like that, it was easily one of the best Chinese take aways I have ever eaten, the black bean sauce the nicest one I've eaten anywhere, I usually don't even like black bean sauce. All well flavoured, veg done perfectly and it was also great value for money, quality and quantity. My new favourite take away.

Gave me the Sh!ts....... Mushy Rice, When a Chinese can't cook rice avoid.

Camping just outside Pocklington so we decided to call here on our first night as we had arrived late. What can I say about this place apart from ABYSMAL. I’m guessing the 5* ratings are from employees, family and friends as the food was so bad it couldn’t be a one off. Deserved 0 stars to be fair.

Their idea of Chinese ribs is a fatty slab floating in a soup of gravy. They don't even attempt to add Chinese style flavouring. Disgusting.

A great chinese restaurant in Pock. The staff is nice and kind. Food quality is great. Love salt and pepper chicken wings and pork fried rice. 5 stars recommended.

We bought a takeaway from this establishment and were left massively disappointed. The food was tasteless watered down and poor quality. We are used to a high standard of takeaway and Chinese cuisine perhaps we set our standards too high but this place is quite literally rubbish. Be warned if you order a spring roll expect one massive oily tasteless mound of bean sprouts with the odd fatty piece of cat meat through it vile. The one thing I look forward to is assisting the small amount I did consume to vacate my bottom !

Not exaggerating when I say this is the WORST takeaway meal I've eaten. I say eaten but it ended up in the bin (perhaps it will taste better in the morning). I'm now sat in the bottom of the shower fully clothed running cold water on myself.....chanting "why?"
