I've been meaning to put this review on for a while. Just before Xmas I bought fish and chips for 3 and took them home. If I hadn't taken them home they would have been returned for a refund straight away. Chips undercooked, raw in the middle. The fish was chewy yet the batter was a thick layer of mush under the cooked outer layer and no taste at all. The worst fish and chips. They should not be allowed to sell them. I'm posting this because fish and chips are expensive, don't give them your hard earned cash. Don't they taste the food before the sell it to the public. I can't speak for the other food they sell but after that I wouldn't want to try anything else. Hopefully they'll read this post and do something about it, or maybe not as they've had similar reviews years ago.

Excellent fish and chips all cooked fresh everyday friendly staff and great choice of food try them one at a time cash payments only no longer taking card payment.

Most of fish grey soggy batter chewy and black inside chips must be warmed up wen 1st opening as no crispiness at all

When shopping in Goole, we have to have our Fish & chips mushy peas here! They fry our fish to how we like it ! The Chips are nice & hot ! Fast friendly service at a good price & Quality!👍🤗 yummy 🤗

It’s a shame because this used to be my preferred take away but the last two times I have been here the Donna kebab meat has been cold and also the price list has been written over in marker pen so badly that the prices are very hard to read

Totally discusted on how I was treated was asked what I wanted and was he didn't eat and he had no manners at all shouted what at me twice until my husband told him didn't say anything else just took money then sort of chucked my change at me please avoid felt degraded

Got Pizza and Chips, Pizza was cooked to profection and the chips were spot on great portion size and good price. There was screens up for covid, seat to wait on your order was few customers but not massively busines. staff were friendly and helpful. 9/10 is my total score for them good place 👏

Just been to Dillons fish shop and got a donner cababe and sausage and chips was very pleasant food and staff were lovely and welcoming would highly recommend everyone

Been merchandising in Tesco, early afternoon hunger attack. Found Dhillon's open. ordered f2 fish, which were fried to order. took them back to the car to eat. Batter was crisp and of a good flavour. I noticed a difference between the two fishes, one was white and moist the other brown/grey and dry, strange as they were both fried together. The peas had a great taste and not too sloppy

Worst fish and chips I’ve had in a long time. Fish was dry and chewy and the chips were simultaneously undercooked and chewy from being reheated. The sausage was so very very greasy it was unpleasant. They also got my order wrong by missing out my mushy peas. Most of it went in the bin. Never returning ever again. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone with tastebuds.

Place clean, food cooked fresh to order. Batter could have been more crispy but fish white, juicy and a good size. Good portion sizes. Will go again.

Ordered a mixed chicken/doner kebab, only contained about eerr! Was going to say only about 10% chicken but think it was less than that,.. more like a doner with a little bit of chicken soaked in red dye added, never again.

Just collected an excellent pair of haddock and chips. Took 15 minutes to get them home and they were still piping hot -as they always are! Freshly cooked and delicious; very friendly efficient service. A great shop!

Dillions has got worse over the last few months charged me loads for a large fish and chips and I didn't mind paying it until I realised that the fish is actually small just covered in batter to make it look large the chips taste about 2 days old very stale and not very nice at all won't be going back again

The most fantastic Kebabs in Yorkshire! Yes - a bit more expensive than some others, but a much larger portion and less grease! Chips are home made, well cooked and lovely. You'll have to try their home made chili sauce - if you kie things spicy, this is the one to have!
