Fu Kwai Chinese Takeaway in Aberdeen City

Normally my go to as chicken curry the best normally. The last few times I’ve been it’s not been the usual guy or lady serving so presume they are on holiday but since they’ve gone the standards have slipped big time! I got a chicken curry last week that had obviously been microwaved and was still a bit cold and like jelly. I went again last night coz thought I’d forgive one bad meal but got something different which wasn’t great but I was starving so ate some. Worst move as I was then hit with a dodgy belly for the next 24 hours and really ill. don’t know if it’ll change when the usual folk come back but they’ve lost my business and I was there twice weekly.

Hi Just went to Fu Kwai take away in Summerhill CT Aberdeen, it my usual go to place if I want a quality Chinese meal , but today was awful We ordered chicken curry, which was very thin And watery compared to how it usually is. Chicken Maryland but sadly chicken was burnt Salt and pepper chicken wings which was forgotten and I had to return to shop for And special fried rice which was dry and stodgy And tasted reheated . I don't mind the odd single Meal being below par but not four meals plus chips which were cold and at £29.60 not cheap They seemed very busy tonight which is unusual But if the food they serve continues to be so poor They will lose a lot of them. I for one won't be returning there

Will never order from here again, it is now 1 and a half hour and we are still waiting on our order, I called and was told it was on it's way. Very poor service.

Order food from here tonight for.delivery and after it was half an hour late I phoned.to be told that they were waiting on driver to come back 3 phone calls and an hour and a half.late was told.it was on its way 20minutes later and after trying to call and phone off hook I went down to takeaway and there.was delivery bags sitting on counter with orders in them including mine probably stine.cold so demanded a refund and went else where don't.appreciate being lied to will never be using them again

I’m sorry but iv just had a delivery, iv no idea what kind of beef yous are using, it was absolutely disgusting, can’t explain, it was slimy soft rubbery, il never order again, whole lot went in bin, so disappointing !!! Honestly 🤢

Ordered sweer and sour chicken Hong Kong style and sweet and sour chicken balls with chips. Portions massive. Good value for money. Highly Recommend. Will be back again.

Just the best chinese takeaway meal I have had ever. We are on staycation and we are from central Scotland... Portions huge and the amount of chicken and beef in the dishes are amazing. Well done Fu Kwai.

Best Chinese takeaway in Aberdeen. Anything fried, such as the pancake rolls are amazing, as well as the various noodle and main dishes. The portions are very generous, our dinners are usually covered for a few nights when we get a Fu Kwai! Just remember to take cash out before you pay as they don’t take card!

What can you say. It took a while for the food to come out. Which says to me it was freshly cooked. Unusual for Chinese Takeaway. The food was very tasty and decently priced. Portions are decently sized. Much better than some reviews say.

La primera vez que visitamos Fu Kwai, esperamos 20 minutos por nuestro pedido, pero había 6 personas antes que nosotros y el teléfono no paraba. Para mí, eso fue un alivio y una buena señal. Bueno, la comida era la mejor que había probado en mucho tiempo. Tuve especial Foo Yung, y mi esposo tenía pollo frito arroz. The missus had a special chow mien and said it was the best she ever had. I would recommend. It was ready in less than 10 minutes too

Used this for a take away while staying in nearby hotel. Average is the only description for this. Food was fine but nothing special.

The best chicken satay sticks I have ever tasted....😊 The beef curry is delicious, tender pieces of steak, with onions,mushrooms in it and a yummy sauce. Delivery service is always very quick too 👍🏻 I would highly recommend it.

Hemos estado yendo a Fu Kwai por más de 30 años y nunca tuvimos nada mejor que decir sobre la comida o el servicio que recibimos. El personal siempre fue amable, incluido el uso de sus nombres de 1 calle al pedir una ola de los chefs a través de la partición de vidrio en las puertas de la cocina.Los nuevos propietarios no son amistosos en absoluto y han recibido nuestros pedidos mal algunas veces. Mi marido y yo fuimos anoche (sábado 7 de octubre de 2017) para nuestro convite de fin de semana y este niño estaba abriendo y cerrando la puerta, en una tarde fría y ventosa, así que cortésmente le pedí delante de su madre que se quedara con el la puerta se cerró y le sacó la mayor bocanada de mejillas. Miré a su madre y ella solo se rió. Otras 2 personas estaban disgustadas con su comportamiento y uno de ellos le dijo a su madre, al salir con su comida, que el niño era muy travieso, nuevamente la madre pensó que era divertido. Estaba escupiendo en las paredes, jugando con el letrero de neón eléctrico en la ventana y entrando y saliendo de la cocina, algo que la salud y la seguridad deberían saber. Les informaremos esto ya que se está comprometiendo la seguridad y la higiene. Sus hijos no deberían ser llevados al trabajo. El pobre niño probablemente había estado allí toda la noche para ser justo.

Olvidar al anterior comentarios sobre mala comida y el hecho fue genial durante 30 años y ahora ido cuesta abajo debido a los nuevos propietarios, especialmente de la "persona" que se quejaron decepcionado su "pollo Maryland" no era lo que solía ser. ¿Qué se puede esperar! ! ! Pollo Maryland no es un plato asiático.Fideos Singapur, red ordenados y curry tailandés de pollo con sal y pimienta y excelente y preparado en menos de 10 minutos.Pruébalo es asiática, la comida es bastante buena, pero si te apetece Pollo Maryland prueba KFC! !

I have been a regular at the Fu Kwai for our monthly take away and have never had a bad meal, the owners knew my wife and my name and allays used them A friend told us they had been taken over in November and we gave them a tryMy wife takes the Beef chow main and i take the special rice with extra noodles and a portion of curry sauceTo be honest we did not like what we ordered, the food was not the same taste as we are used to, from the curry to the way the rice was cooked and whatever they cooked the Chow main in was not nice for us I am not saying there bad cooks i am saying it was not to are tasteWe will need to sample other takeaways to find one to are tasteRegards David and Jennifer

Como otros he disfrutado llevar completo kwai durante más de 30 años. La semana pasada fui allí y nos preguntamos donde los propietarios anteriores tenían. No sabían que se jubilaron. Pedí mi habitual Pollo Maryland pero cuando llegué a casa y sabía que me tiró en la basura. Absolutamente repugnante. También estará a la búsqueda de una nueva distancia.

Damn and blast, thought they just closed for refurbishments. New cooks, totally different flavour (Thai), different curry sauce also, time to hunt for another Chinese (AGAIN)...Grrrrr.u

Out of the many Chinese takeaways I have visited in Aberdeen this is certainly one of the best, good quality meat and very quick to order! Fine bloke that works in there!

Prawn Chow Mein was delicious. My Sweet and sour chicken had a huge portion. Batter was moist inside and had a crisp coating. Fried rice with it was just right and very tasty.

Finally a takeaway that's serves REAL chicken, none of that cheap whitey rubbery crap that gets served these days. Staff have a friendly attitude and your phone order/pick up works in synch. Have to pick up as I'm not local but we'll worth the journey.

Good choice on menu, excellent quality and very reasonably priced. Would definitely return again when back in Aberdeen

Went to this place on a recommendation from a friend and I'm glad u did. Food was delicious it wasn't expensive very good value and was quick as a flash! Recommend it to anyone well worth a visit and will be going back soon .

estado yendo a la Fu Kwai para burros años y nunca me ha decepcionado. Excelente comida y buen servicio igualmente cada vez. Su curry de carne es el mejor que he tenido en un restaurante de comida para llevar. He vivido lejos de Aberdeen por 5 años, y sólo administra una visita media docena de veces al año para visitar a la familia. El caballero en la Fu Kwai todavía recuerda mi curry de carne y arroz frito tan pronto en la tienda. Muy impresionante!

Nice food with a good choice on the menu. Prices are very reasonable and the delivery service is fast.
