Hard chips , runny oily curry sauce basically a whole pot of oil , pies not crispy ,

Customer service was really poor.

Never had bad service, good always hot and tasty

Food took an over an hour to arrive and was cold upon arrival and packaging sopping wet where it has been sat around. Chips and burgers were soggy and cold. Paid an extra £2 for chips to have cheese, but they came plain. Very underwhelming soggy cold meal for the money paid and missing cheese.

Kids love pizza from here. Mixed kebab is lovely Always have nice delivery staff

We use this takeaway regularly. Chicken shish kebabs very tasty . But unfortunately the fries taste very oily and chewy . We always end up getting the fries from dovercourt grill . They are so nice crispy taste yummy .

Paid £24 for two cod and chips,fair enough, but I expected it to taste of cod, tasted of nothing at all, never again, soggy , shame we can’t get good old fish and chips anymore, save ur money, don’t go there cat wouldn’t even eat it

iv had nice food but now&then like last night 2 cod&chips 1 had bone in it but both fish was mushy watery ,as known of being soaked in water so not fresh chips ok,so thats me done now £24 expect fresh flakey fish,

I ordered once before , it was really nice . Ordered second time on a sat night . I ordered chicken shish , chicken was dry & was not cooked on the skewer which is what I thought shish was supposed to be cooked on the skewer . Chips was soggy I put them in the airfryer to crisp them up . I will say ..I also ordered spicy chicken wings which was really nice defo will order them again ….. maybe they were busy cos it’s sat night .

Called in for battered sausage and chips with a pot of curry sauce. Only waited 5 minutes for the food, and was piping hot still when I arrived home. All cooked to perfection until I got to the curry sauce. Quite possibly the worst tasting curry sauce I have ever tasted. Sorry Fish and Grill you lost a star because of that dreadful stuff you call curry sauce.

Ordered from here while on holiday, as camp food made you sick. My son who is a pizza monster said this was the best pizza ever had, and wished could deliver. But be c9ld after 2 1/2 drive

Honestly the best fish and chip shop going in Harwich. Food is always amazing and perfectly cooked. I tried garlic mayo with cheese Chips it was the best. Highly recommend this chippy. Excellent customer service. Food is lovely 😊😋

Best kebabs in harwich, we have a deal 2 everytime which is more than enough to feed a family of 4 and our dogs. Brilliant value for money, fantastic service, kept us going throughout the pandemics with deliveries. They Look after they're regular customers too ☺️... Honestly deserves 5 stars and more *****

Ordered on the website for collection and was in a que outside waiting as it was not marked on the website that it was yet ready.. Food was sat on the top for at least 15 minutes until they called me in, I politely said I hope it is not cold as it has been sat there for a long time, the staff member then rudely said if it is cold it is my fault and there is nothing he will do, I was shocked at how he was so rude to me. I told him that I will leave a review and it's shocking how he was behaving, he replied something along the line of " whatever, bye bye!". I got home and the burger and chips were cold, not fresh. (also forgot the drink until I reminded them). We and my partner order weekly from you, but after how rude you spoke to me earlier you have lost us as customers, RUDE STAFF. AVOID

Brilliant food, everything we have tried we have been more than happy, highly recommend.

First time I used this establishment. The fish & chips was second to none. Sunday night plus delivery. Lovely grub. Will definitely be using them again.

2 of the staff didn't even smile but laughed when I asked questions and the server gave sarcastic answers! The fish and chips were very greasy but tasted ok. Only went there my regular was shut on Sundays. The takeaways here are expensive as they have a captive customers! London there are much better value. No wonder I was the only customer.

Under new management and what a differance new menu with pizza's buy one get second one half price, we had 10" deep pan doner and 10" fry special, arrived hot in 30 mins, both toppings on both pizzas were plenty full, and the taste was excellent, delivered for under £12 this was good value for money plus these pizza's were not covered in salt, poor toppings and tasteless like do####os.

People that know me know that I value good customer service and understand the value of feedback. What have just experienced was appalling! After many years of ordering takeaway from Fry Fish & Grill in tollgate I've noticed the quality has been going down hill lately. Tonight was supposed to be a treat for my wife's birthday. Cod & chips x2, Donna meat & chips, plain burger. The fish was flavorless and soggy, the chips were soggy and cold, the donna meat was dry cold, the burger was cold and swimming in tomato sauce. I thought I'd call and give feedback. Well! That was a mistake. It's not like I wanted a refund, although I probably deserved one! I was told that I was wrong and that everything was cooked fresh. He actually said "I don't agree with you". Thanks for ruining a birthday treat. AVOID FRY FISH & GRILL. Perhaps they'd like me to train them in customer service? That's them never getting my custom ever again.

Raw meet. No chips salad we didn't want. Rang and heard a man in the back saying no-one else complains. Shame had a few meals here but won't have anymore, one customer gone.

This place was good until early this year when they went off just eat. The food is now sub standard and expensive for the quality you get. I'd rather go to the place in town where it's more expensive but the quality is better. The doner meat is kinda gritty. As I say, Not what it was.

The lack of chips in our fish and chip order says it all and the fish was stodgy. ..will definitely not buy here again. Very expensive for a couple of bits of fish!

Cold food on line says £1.20 for extra chips with your over priced cold soggy fish but they actually charge £1.80 after looking at recipe the plus delivery spent more money on cold fish chips and mushy peas for 2 than a Chinese would cost won't use again disgusting price and quality or lack of more like 😷

I have ordered from this restaurant before and the food is either always really late in being delivered or like today it was missing something I paid for. I won't be ordering again anytime soon!

Part of order missing, so rest of meal went cold whilst waiting. £2 delivery charge on a £30 order for a 2 minute drive is a tad excessive.

Took 2 and a half hours to get our whole order and the food was cold complete waste of £35

Only complaint is that the food only has to come less than a mile from the restaurant and it could be a lot hotter. Perhaps the order would stay hot if it were delivered in a thermal box by the delivery person.

It was; Alright. Not fantastic but it would do. The Fish was good; but the chips where a little tough. It was one of those forgettable meals. A little expensive for what was provided. But otherwise; adequate. I wouldn't recommend to a friend, but I would order again in a pinch. Overall the service was alright, the food was tasty and nice, the fish was crispy and cooked well but the chips let them down. 4/6 :)

45mins late warmish food rang up to see how long it would be and all I got was he's left goodbye then he hung up!!!!

Fab food like always but they did forget to deliver a bit of my order, a bit disappointing.

waited over 2 hours for delivery! claimed they did'nt receive my order. Just-eat then told me the machine that receives orders was faulty. No discount or refund offered :-(

Don't bother ! Meal was 20 minutes late and luke warm. Pie was only just warm. Mixed kebab was so salty that I left it after a couple of mouthfuls. Onion rings were soft. French fries were limp and tasteless. Will I be returning ? You must be joking ! Ruins the name of Just Eat.
