Very friendly staff and the food is great, had burger but I had the boneless chicken before which was really good, staff was very friendly and the wait wasn’t that bad

Great chicken and about to see what the burgers are saying ( me from the future here, burgers were well cooked not overdone and the burger buns were good quality not the generic buns you get at Sam's or mcdonalds. He gave me a home made burger sauce which wasn't bad at all.) Well worth the visit as the owner is very hospitable and also has reasonable prices. I must also note that he cooked everything fresh so extra plus marks from me!

Nice chicken burgers and good range of sauces including chilli: something I'm not always able to have in big brand restaurants anymore but is perfectly catered for my burger here!

The food is tasty, the manager is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. Both the chicken and fish and chips options are good. I like the spicy wings.

Food was cold and chicken was completely dry and tasteless. Definitely not fresh, seemed like it had been drying out under a heat lamp most of the day. Really disappointed as it ended up in the bin - waste of money instead of the treat we had hoped.

First time visit today, the owner was very nice, i got a free wing and a bbq wing as a first time customer. Proper chicken, not water injected stuff, coating was crispy and tasty. Best chicken i have had in watford so far, would reccomend.

I made the mistake of going here for fish and chips, not realising that it's not a chippie. The chips were actually really nice, and if you want breadcrumbed fish, it was great too. Just don't expect battered fish and mushy peas.

From walking in, to walking out, an impeccable service. One of the best chicken & burger spots I've been to from quality, to price. Recommended.

I visited this fine establishment before the Watford game and I'm proud I did. I've been all over both Watford and London and sampled tonnes of chicken burgers. By far the best I've had in a long while. Lovely fresh chips too, especially as I'm not usually the biggest fan of chips. Will be back before the next game!

Today we went here for Fish and Chips, great service, the gentleman explained us the difference in fish, while waiting for the food we got to taste the chicken wings, I can only recommend and if we come back once we will repeat the visit.

Under new management. A wide choice of food is available. I particularly like the skin on fries and bbq ribs! You might need to wait a little as food is generally cooked to order, but it is worth the wait as all the food is hot, fresh, and delicious. Highly recommended and Open from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. 7 days a week.

Come here for lunch as I was doing a delivery next door and the food was very good, I had the 6 wings and chips meal. All hot and tasty, staff were nice & good menu choice. would visit again for sure!

Very delicious food and so much for the price. It was very clean inside and there’s space to sit and eat in. Very fast and efficient service and the owner is really nice. Definitely would recommend.

His communication skills are through the roof and it is as authentic as it can be. The pricing is very fair and the food is great! After reading reviews I decided to find this place for my last meal in Watford. If you like spicy, crunchy chicken, then this is the place for you. The owner is very hospitable and was very apologetic that he had ran completely out of fish for the day. So after a sample of a chicken wing (which I don't usually eat), I was pleasantly surprised by the flavour so I went for a chicken wrap meal with extra chilli sauce and no mayo. It was a good choice. It was full of flavour and very filling. I went large and got extra fries. All for £7.99 including drink. I will be back to try the fish.

Came all the way from the United States to try the fish and chips here. Definitely did not disappoint. Wild-caught cod and free-range chicken in handmade batter. Super fresh and tasty. Abundant servings of chips with bespoke ketchup and mayonnaise made in-house. Proprietor is super friendly and professional. Definitely stacks up against any of the chippies I’ve eaten at previously.

Had the pleasure of meeting Raj, super great service, very friendly, great food he was such a character!!! Great experience overall because of Raj!!!

By chance I came across this establishment whilst on my way home from work an hour hour ago. Very pleasant gentleman who served me, his knowledge of the fried chicken industry both past and present was exceptional. The fried chicken was very tasty, as were the bbq ribs and bbq chicken wings. The chips were different to your normal chicken shop chips/fries, they were refreshingly tasty amd looked great. I will certainly be back on a regular basis.

I came for some food thinking it was going to be mediocre and a waste of money but as soon as the flavours hit my tongue i knew this was it and this would be my life long shop , this was the best food ever. i havent been to this place since before 2010 its under new management and appears to have merged a chicken shop and chippy together havent had chicken wings this good since rooster changed to be a piri shop n lot better than max piri piri on market street to the owner put one sauce on burgers altough the burger was nice it had burger sauce n ketchup which is weird chip were good on par with nando if not slightly better thia was ordered on a sunday and quality was great albeit slightly expensive

On my way home looking for a quick and cheap meal. Lived in Watford my whole life and never been in here… so I thought I’d give it a go. The lovely man let me try a wing for free as it was my first time, whilst I waited. That was lovely on its own! I got a chicken burger, which I asked to make hot (definitely was with a perfect blend of flavour). I also got fries which could have been saltier but still hit the spot. As I was a first time customer he also threw in a bbq rib and bbq wings. The sauce could be less sticky but overall the flavours are there again. He then recommended the grape flavour old Jamaica drink, which if course I couldn’t turn down. Overall the food is good, the prices make it better but the service is what makes it all!

Went in for a large portion of chips and a drink but I found myself leaving with 3 chicken wings thrown in on the house and a big smile as I walked out the door, top quality food and home made spices with an amazingly friendly host behind the counter! Will definitely not skip this place if passing and in need of a top quality munch!

The shop stands out on this road, especially at night time. Very bright and clean shop. The fish and chips attracted me. Instead, I chose a chicken. The owner had a special offer on that day: two chickens for £4. He quickly knew I was a new customer and offered a barbecue rib as a free sample. The owner is new, eight months since this shop has open and is vey friendly. His name is Raj.

First time visiting this evening and food was amazing!! The man serving was so attentive and friendly too which is so important! Great prices and great chicken will definitely visit again! My son had the chicken fillet burger and gave it 5 out 5!

Im very new here, just recently moved in. Without a doubt the best service i have got in a chicken shop. The chicken tastes very fresh and its homemade bread crumbs which gives it more of a crunch. Burger was a great size!

Grillplate and aspiration extremely clean not often seen in Restaurants, staff member from this afternoon was genuine friendly and it was pleasure to talk with him. Reasonably tasty food,i ordered 2 lots of chicken wings x6 chips,saveloy and chips all £5.99 so overpriced in my opinion.Then after quite a wait I got battered sausage and chips! Seem to be taking advantage of the much better Ebb Tide shutting down by overcharging.

I am pleasantly welcomed each and every time I step into Frydays! I am a fan of chicken wings and find that Frydays’ servings are plentiful in terms of meat and uniquely spiced. Often having half of my portions with their BBQ wings, equally as delightful which I regularly enjoy. A fine establishment and a better alternative to anywhere else.
