Fry Days in North East Lincolnshire

Helped our family move house and ordered a fish and chip takeaway for all of us so very expensive.We were really looking forward to it after our exhausting day .It was the worst fish and chips we have ever eaten .Most of it went in the bin .Fish was dry and chips were terrible !

Had sausage and large chips .got it home 5mins away and was warm.batter on sausage was soft not crispy. £5.40 is too much. Large chips that wasn't that large to be honest was £3.probably one of the dearest in the area. Old ownership was cheaper and better in my opinion . Wouldn't return to this chippy again.

Service very good and the fish and chips were excellent. Will definitely be making a visit again, well impressed.

Food is OK but changed owners since I last visited, never known such slow service in a fish and chip shop.

small chips £2 . jumbo sausages £2.50 as of 25th February

Asked for a chip bun Was served on a sesame seed bun which is a no no for me leave them for burgers. Chips were more like potato peelings and I through half away because they were inedible

Theres been mixed opinions since this shop changed ownership but i must say i really enjoyed my sausage chips and gravy with salt n vinigar and my mrs really enjoyed her fish and chips we was both debating going back for seconds haha thank you for out dinner

When they are open the food is delicious and staff are really friendly

Quite possibly the worst chippy I've ever been to! To put it politely and the food been hot is the only good thing I have to say. It was so greasy that I squeezed the batter and it was dripping with grease! Politely staff but would never go back.

Best fish and chips I have had in ages. Delicious and excellent value for money.

I have eaten chips n curry sauce all over the UK. Best curry sauce I have ever had at a chippy. They make mushy peas themselves, and for the first time in my life, I enjoyed them. Staff were friendly and the mountain of food I ordered for my horde was cheap. Kids loved the food, battered sausage, pies, homemade fishcake...

Very nice people treat and greet as you would like to be treated

I happened to be passing through grimsby a week ago so naturally had to stop for fish n chips , has to be done ✔️. What seemed like a fruitless search I stumbled across the fisherman and I can honestly say I'm glad I did Best fish n chips I've had in a while. And next time I'm passing through il be going again too

The fish is lovely, white and fresh, staff are very friendly. Good value for money here.

My first visit but most definitely not my last. The quality and quantity of the food is excellent. I had 2 regular fish which were big ( would be a large in other establishments) and chip ( enough for 2 in one portion). Congratulations to all concerned…keep up the good work …and as Arnie says ‘I’ll be back’

I think it is now called 'Fry Days'🤔 Excellent traditional fish and chips. Definitely a super power, for such an unassuming chippy. Loved it!

Just called for fish and chips for wife and myself and have to say they were delicious. Fish was nice and white and moist and chips golden and fluffy. Will be back again

This chippy is the best in town by far,I went there other night to get chips peas and fish patty The chips peas and patty tasted absolutely fantastic, I will not go anywhere else now. Thankyou for a fantastic good priced meal.....

The place has changed name with new owners ,its now called fry day, ordered medium fish with small chips and curry sauce, the fish has big with bubbly batter the curry sauce was nice and the small chips was enough for two.the fish was white and flakey and cooked to perfection, they do a small fish and chips for £3.50 which i think I'll get next,definitely going back.
