good chicken, very fresh, chicken cooked to medium rare so was very tasty but I got salmonella so not ideal

Been having takeaway food from here for 20 years. Consistent quality, good flavoured Afghan cuisine. Fantastic lamb curry and spicy chicken tikka massala, lovely rice and freshly baked delicious nans. Decent sized portions and fairly easy street parking.

Fantastic Indian take away ~ Super tasty, and the gentleman behind the cuisine is very polite. Recommended !!

Been eating here for 20 years, they do my biryani how I like it. Wouldn't be eating here for so long if it wasn't the best in the area. The masala fish is very nice and always sells out, very fresh and delicious.

Fresh and delicious amazing place

Was working in the area and happen to visit for a lunch period on 3 days. Spoke to the owner who seemed friendly although the gentleman serving the food had a bad attention and looked at me as if he had a problem with on all x3 occasions? Although spending over £10 Each time and using the toilets, this became a problem for the gentleman preparing the food and said to me that today I'm not allowed to stay for long as he has others customers coming in that want to sit down and eat? I was extremely confused as to why you would say this to a paying customer minding his own business and paying for a service with cash as they lie to customer about yhe card machine not working 🤔 when it does? The arguments I had witnessed from them wanting cash and rather not use the card machine is rather dishonest to the fullest! I used the toilet on my second visit and they even had one of the customers switch of the lights and not switch it back on causing me to use my mobile phone in the dark which is absolutely ludacris and ill mannered. They also have a family member helping out and may suffer from a condition, however when in the restaurant on my third and final visit he dropped the cutlery on the floor and the owns acted as if its nothing? That was my last straw and I refused to eat in a place like this! They then knew it was rather to late to apologise and nd keep my custom. Without knowing also the term Kala was used on regular occasions while eating but they wasn't aware I knew the terminology and found this to be out of order! I said I will be writing a review and was greeted with untold sorrys but the damage had been done! It's ashame local business act like this to customers of a different culture. I'm not expecting any apology but rather use this platform to express my experience and dissatisfaction.

Great local balti house. Me and flatmate like a vindaloo and dhansak. Always generous with meat and great flavour. Nans and wraps also great. Very good value as well!

I've always found the food here first class. Curry full of oil? Thats what it is, and you can always ask for less. Show me a curry that isn't. I like it that way and thats the way it's cooked in Afghan, India, Pakistan and so on, and here in here in England! Cleanliness? Go 5 star if that's what you want . I've never had a bad stomach from eating here. Staff rude? What do you want? Go down on knees to all customers? All food is fresh and nan baked in front of you. Love this place, and miss it as I now live some way from here. Good wishes guys.

SO DISGUSTING !! the food is full of oil very unhealthy and the prices are rip of even the owner's dont wash there hands Always touching his face and picking his nose and Scratching his self. They even use dirty rugs to clean The worktops. Also noticed they never chage there clothes and never Wash there aprons. You just have to go there to see for your self or drive pass the shop. I just dont understand how the Environmental has given them 5 stars as no one should be serving food with so much oil and Especially With the owners who cannot even look after themselves with there Appearance And hygiene . I have given them 1 star thats because a 0 was not there

Le poulet est de bonne qualité et très bien cuit. La sauce curry n'est pas trop épicée. Le riz est une une vraie réussite. Ambiance "bonne franquette" avec un service qui ne sourit pas à tout va mais très gentil. Une belle découverte.

The food is amazing, however need to be cleaner, the food manipulation is not the proper one, the dressing is inappropriate, people there are working without shoes. Please let me know when you improve all this to go back

This was the worst experience I ever had i ordered 5 piece of chicken and it was literally disgusting the chicken were soggy and kinda had a smell it felt like they were left overs and had just been thrown in the microwave to be warmed up. Never going there again

You don't go for atmosphere - its a clean, friendly well-run take-away. Food is on show - attractively displayed and piping hot, ready for eating ....you are in and out in 3 minutes and have a delicious meal to enjoy. Staying locally (visiting our daughter and her family) we are always happy to get a convenient take-away Indian meal to share with the household.

Absolutely ridiculous place! I have ordered a couple of times from this place now, both times my order was made incorrectly! Although I made myself very clear on what I wanted. I think the short stocky man does it deliberately. I have wasted money on food that isn’t even worth it. They leave the old food out and use that all up before giving you the fresh food, I noticed that they do not wash the chillies and herbs when preparing the food for you. I will not be going back there and surely do not recommend this place.

Food is freshly cooked nice flavours and not overly spicy, visited here many times for my Indian food, well worth a visit

I went there twice and both times I saw the guy who was preparing the food picking his nose and scratching his head.He was sweating and wiped it with his hands. I walked out without buying anything.The restaurant itself is very filthy and the staffs are extremely unhygienic.My husband went there last month and noticed the staff wiping a spillage on the floor.He didn’t bother washing his hands afterwards and was serving customers.

Great place the two guys that work in here are sound I always have the lamb meatball curry amazing and ask for it with extra chilli they make it in front of you with fresh chilli very friendly people work here and there is parking right outside

Good food, prepared fast and reasonably priced. Peshwari nan is unusual and the best I have had. These guys need our custom, they've had a hard time with the Pandemic!

Nice place friendly staff, food takes a while but worth it, more of an Indian takeaway that has various currys out buffet style for quick in quick out. A unique way of doing it. Seems to work. I went with a burger which did take a while and i was told that before hand. Happy to wait. Would recommend for people constantly on the go.

I bought a chicken curry. Had nothing to do with anything Indian. It was simply pieces of chicken in a onion and tomato gravy. No spice, no heat. Me, if I want an onion and tomato chicken stew , I can cook it myself. If I'm getting Indian food, I do it for the kick, but this one...completely bland.... It's a shame that someone who is Indian or Asian in that regard, has so little respect for his culture, tradition and cuisine to serve something like that...Very disappointing... And 2ndly, there was a man sitting down, on the other side of the counter, where the food is, eating melon from a plate... he looked either drunk/stoned or disabled and he was drooling over the plate...very unappealing and very bad from a service point of view... (I did not want to use the word gross) Never again!!! I gave 1 star because I can not give NO STAR or a NEGATIVE number of STAR. Pointless to say that the "curry" went straight in the rubbish bin.

Made a preorder through Just Eat and they cancelled it 15 minutes after they opened. Left scrambling around to reorder food from somewhere else. Now lunch is late for the whole company. Won't waste time ordering from here again.

Best food in here, I like the carry with spinach okra and bread. Emmmmm delicious. I'll always come back here for a takeaway. Order you wont regret it.

Nice & pleasant staff but poor personal hygiene, I saw a staff member wiping their worktops with a very dirty looking cloth & immediately afterwards cooked a nan without washing his hands, not sure if I'd be going back there again.

Delicious food, the type street cooked food. Excellent Indian take away for the busy days. A dish is £5 , big and feeling portions. Rice was not the best I've tried but ok.

Been here many times over the years. Great food, genuine people. My preferred place if I can park near in the 1 hour bays. Fabulous chicken shish kebabs but there are many good dishes.

Great food great menu, plenty of choice. Very polite staff and very courteous. A fresh nan bread, fruits and dates were brought out for myself and wife to open our Fasts with since this is the month of Ramadan.

Lovely fresh naan made all the difference to the meal.

The food was actually ok, it tasted quite good. I would mark higher but I had reservations regarding the cleanliness of this place. The guys apron was absolutely filthy and obviously hadn't been washed for some time and I saw him use a dirty cloth with no spray to wipe the side. If I hadn't already paid I would have left without receiving my order, but I did watch him like a hawk preparing my food and had ordered a chicken tikka naan bread and salad with chilli. I only ate 1 piece of chicken and the bread and salad.

All the food is over spiced with chili at the point you can’t enjoy the flavor . Not happy with the service when we asked non spicy menue while pregnant and he confirmed that was all ok and it was a hell burnt out. Don’t recommend it.

I'm sorry but I have to put this review in as one star. I went there once and the guy was really nice gave me some chicken from behind the counter and a portion of chips. The chicken was ok but the chips were so dry and seemed a bit old. Gave it the benefit of the doubt and went again yesterday just for some chips. This time it was a different guy who was being stingy with the sauce and his hands were covered in oil. What was up with that? Anyway the chips were not good AGAIN. they went stale after 1 hour as if they were old chips. NOT FRESH AT ALL. Also I've been ill all day today, tummy ache, feeling like throwing up. Sorry. The first guy I met was nice but food was not good.

I went to this place to buy a takeaway food. The man who was doing the cooking in the kitchen served me. He makes his fingers wet to open the shopping bag by putting his fingers into his mouth. I feel so disgusting and its not hygiene at all for food serving business.

Food was disgusting, samosas tasted off, worst chicken spring rolls ever tasted. Curry was full of oil, will never order here again, everything went in the bin.

Stopped in for a quick curry. Cheap and cheerful chicken curry with rice and flat bread. They don't sell beer but have a selection of soft drinks. Eating space inside is limited to a counter and stools.

My wife and I had 2 take aways from here whilst staying at a local hotel. The place is unusual as they have already cooked various curries, but they then heated them and adjusted the heat by adding chilli, etc to suit. We had chicken madras with pilau rice and samosas and all of it tasted great. We went back for a second time as we enjoyed the food.

The best Indian food I've had in London. By far beats all the fancy places like Chutney Mary, Amaya and Dishoom. It's clean, and authentic and honestly the guys that work there are the kindest - and that gives so much good energy to the food!

Forget the cringe-worthy name, this is an awesome little takeaway with some basic seating for a quick munch too. The food is fantastic and flavourful with a wide variety to choose from, much of which is already pre-made and usually reheated right in front of you on an actual cooker, in a pan! The staff are usually friendly and polite when you address them. Highly recommend this place.

its ok if you drunk hungry or desperate. one of those shops you walk into and look at the hygiene of the people preparing your food and it worries you.. there is a better more professional more cleaner indian up the road a short walk away.
