Fresh Baguette Bar in Stratford-on-Avon

Looking for somewhere to buy a breakfast sandwich and found this fabulous little cafe. We finished up buying the breakfast and eating in. Wow...what fantastic value for money. £9.50 for very tasty freshly cooked breakfast, slice of toast and a cup of tea. Very friendly service. Highly recommend for either lunch or breakfast.

Along with my wife, on 16th January, we went to the shop to sit in and have a breakfast. We ordered the full English breakfast. The food was cooked to order and consisted of two slices of thick bacon, two sausages, fried egg, beans, ring of black pudding, 1/2 tomato, slice of fresh crusty bread toast and a hot drink. All this for £9.50. Sat at the window and watched the world go by. The food was lovely and generous in the portions. I have used this business before simply for a drink or a light lunch and have never been disappointed. The owner is a lovely person and pleasant. Thank you for a lovely meal and keep local business’ going.

Excellent. Handy central little cafe. Friendly service. Takeaway & a few tables to sit for coffee, snacks or more. Good value quality food freshly made to request - not only lovely baguettes but full breakfast , bakes or cakes etc. A find worth looking for. Will definitely visit again next time in Stratford.

I had a soup and sandwich special - the leek and potato soup was better than I could have made, and the sandwich was stuffed to the hilt with chicken. Felt quite embarrassed to pay £7 for the lot. Really great value and a comfy place to eat.

After a quick internet search for "Full English Breakfasts" we found the Fresh Baguette Bar. A small venue but the attention to the customer is second to none. The Full English is substantial and very reasonably priced. I would not hesitate to visit again the next time I'm in Stratford. Thanks again for cracking breakfast.

Decent food and decent staff! One of the smaller cafes in Stratford Upon Avon and serves decent and fresh food. Everything I have ordered here is freshly made and prepared my favourite is the jacket potato! Well done 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

All sandwiches were made fresh to order and to our exact specifications. Even the bacon for the BLT was grilled specially. We had sandwiches to take away and all were wrapped in good old fashioned paper bags.

Ok the hunt for a quick bite to eat, I came here and had a bacon, brie and cranberry baguette. It was stuffed to the brim with filling and came out super quickly which was amazing I only paid £5.50 as well! I would definitely recommend this as a place for a quick bite to eat.

While on a coach trip to Stratford upon Avon we came across this eatery and was very happy with what we had Baguette and latte’s and the banter between customers and staff was very enjoyable. Recommend if all your wanting is a good snack and cuppa.

Seriously, best breakfast in Stratford, dogs are spoilt rotten and Mustafa is a great host. Gluten free option is spot on, with quality toast.

What a Gem with fantastic sandwiches and hot food all freshly made to eat in or take away. I always feel really welcomed by the owner and staff and really great value for your money if you’re in Stratford a must to pop in and check out. When I am in Stratford this is my regular point of call no fuss great food and service looking forward to my next visit very soon

We've just returned from a two night stay in Stratford-upon-Avon however breakfast was not included in the guest house we were staying at so we went to Fresh on the Saturday and the Sunday morning and had a fantastic full English breakfast for just £7.99...

We had a great lunch here. They serve hot and cold sandwiches, pastries, snacks, salads and of course lovely cooked breakfasts. Well worth a visit.

Good food, decent coffee and friendly staff, clean and tidy for a small cafe with a fair range of baguettes and other short order foods. Good solid breakfast too. Outside seating and window seating gives a nice view of traditional buildings opposite.

Lovely little place was looking all over for somewhere that offered a jacket potato and stumbled across this lovely place jacket potato with home-made coleslaw husband had a Panini with chicken tikka masala he really enjoyed that too definitely recommend !!

The staff were very friendly and competent, multi tasking by serving multiple customers at once. Chicken tikka salad baguette, delicious! No Subway/McDonald's needed in this town.

We stopped by just by chance late in the afternoon and were impressed by the quantity and quality of the food. We didn't have to wait long either and it was freshly made. The owner was a very nice man and so was his assistant.

It was late in the day and we wanted a light meal and we were very impressed with the quality and value of our pannins, the owner is very friendly efficient and although it was closing time he was happy to serve us.

It is quite refreshing to find a reasonably priced food shop in Stratford. Very fresh ingredients and a well filled baguette all for under £4. A very good deal.

If you want a quick, simple, tasty, good value lunch then this is the place! Jacket potatoes are huge and come with salad, sandwiches are also good. And the staff are super friendly.

we wanted a snack and decided to sit in there is a good choice and the jacket potato and cheese and beans was quite big as were the baguettes its not very big but well worth waiting or take out as the food was very good its next door to the garrick and near the town hall

Excellent food, clean and good value. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Bacon sandwich, full English and Coronation Chicken baguette are my favourite.

They advertised gluten free bread and were able to cater for the fillings. But the cashier put me off big time. Her nose ran and dropped onto her hand when she was using the till. Granted she wasn’t making the food but was still serving it and didn’t wash her hands afterwards. DISGUSTING. Prices were good but if the hygiene is that bad it’s no wonder. I was happy to find the place but wouldn’t go there again. Needs to be shut down if hygiene is not considerable improved.

Only stopped her for a coffee/sandwich (6 of us with 2 dogs) & the owner gave the dogs a sausage before we sat down, nice :). Tasty bacon sarnie & coffee, likewise hot chocolate was hot & tasty with pretty quick service when the chap was on his own & so polite.

Good value little offering bang in the middle of town. Good range of available lunch choices for takeaway or to eat in or al fresco. We chose al fresco & enjoyed watching the passing crowds.

He ido a Mustafá Barra Bat desde 2007. 10 años. . . He probado el fresco Gambas Baguette - él siempre me preguntó si me gusta algo de ensalada añadida. Yummilicious. El Atún es perfecto cuando se deshacen Panini necesitaba un aperitivo caliente. Muy deliciosos.

Visitamos hoy y tenía ensalada de pollo y queso y bacon tortilla. Viajamos de rugby y hacer entrar a comer. La comida es buena relación calidad-precio y muy sabroso. El personal es muy amable y hará todo lo posible para asegurarse de que tienes lo que necesitas nada es demasiado problema.

We were looking for a bacon sandwich - and, boy, were we glad we found this place. Forget your overpriced, over-fancy places. This is down to earth, unpretentious and DELICIOUS. The very friendly owner greeted us, offered our small dog a sausage and then made us the best bacon (and egg) sandwiches for £2.75 (£3). Nothing special about the decor, just a simple food outlet but the owner's attitude and ability to make a sandwich made sure we'd go back any time.

What a lovely little cafe! A really jolly experience that met all our expectations - simple but delicious bacon roll, very friendly service, good value and even an offer of a sausage for our dog! I would have given it maximum marks but as we didn't order more from the menu felt that this would be misleading but nevertheless, it was a joy to find.

The Fresh Baguette Bar is small cafe which serves a good choice of sandwiches, paninis, jacket potatoes and salads with a good and different mix of ingredients.A good selection of drinks are also available. There is a small seating but food also available to take away.We both enjoyed freshly made Tuna and Chichen Tikka with Mango paninis served by friendly and welcoming staff.Nice cafe, well priced and worth a try.

Called in for a snack at lunchtime and received well presented,really tasty filled hot cheese and onion baguettes which we washed down with piping hot drinks.Would call again if in the area.

Ate here with my husband and 7 month old son. Lovely food. Really warm and welcoming staff who go out of there way to provide a good service. My little man pulled a cup of coffee all over and the lady was very quick to help us clean it up and topped my drink back up. The gentleman who I assumed was the owner rushed to hold the door open for us with the buggy as we left. Very unique service. Lovely and very reasonably priced food and drink. We had breakfast baps here and they were very good value for money. All freshly made to order so very tasty too. The staff were chatty and friendly. Not a swish place but good for a snack.

Went in as my little one was requesting something to eat but didn't fancy Thai in the restaurant next door. A great selection of breakfast sandwiches and other bits so my young lady asked for a cheese and bacon sandwich, I got a cornish pasty along with a coffee - a latte.We sat down and the proprietor got to cooking the bacon fresh, melting the cheese on top of it and putting it in to a bap which he halved. He then brought it over to my daughter who loved it as it was piping hot with soft melted cheese. The cornish pasty and coffee hit the spot for me, along with some of the crisps and chocolate that had been picked up by my daughter.In all it was just under £10 and we both left ready for our adventures around Stratford. There are only 5 tables inside but we felt very welcomed and it made a change from the chains as my daughter loved the fact the sandwich was made for her; the proprietor made her feel special and chatted to us. When we do go back to Stratford later in the year we will visit again - but I'll be having the full breakfast as it looked lovely.

This would be a first-rate snack bar in any neighourhood, but it's a treasure amidst the press of indistinguishable chains creeping into the core of Stratford's once bouyant local economy. Friendly helpful staff, proper baguettes, classic English sandwich fillings (plus some creative modern twists), good for a hot breakfast or light lunch, quick and tasty takeaway: beats the chains hands down on every front.

Open at 8.30 this is a nice little cafe for breakfast. I had the bacon bap. The cook asked me what kind of sauce I wanted...nice touch. My firend had eggs and bacon and while I didn't taste them they appeared to be cooked in a touch too much oil for my taste. But my breakfast was lovely and ihave a feeling we will be returning tomorrow.

I was stood outside and a member of staff was abusing someone and all i heard was f#%£ off.... Pr#@&.... In the middle of the pavement and in the doorway of the business so definatly wont be visiting again

I loved the choice of food, very varied. Great that you can take it away if you wish. Looked up the food hygiene rating and it should be displayed as they should be proud of it! Display of cakes could have been cleaner... A bit crumby and greasy but I'm being picky here...

Mustapha is extremely hard working, always welcoming and polite, with a great sense of humour. The food is always excellent, whether it is a sandwich , baguette or jacket potato. The prices are very reasonable and the premises are very clean.We always go to eat at Mustaphas when we go to Stratford. Wouldn't go anywhere else.There isn't anywhere friendlier on the planet.

I found this place on trip advisor, because I was craving a baguette during my stay at stratford upon Avon. Definitely would recommend this place. The owner Mustafa seems like a really nice guy, and he is a proper sandwich artist.

Myself and my partner were in Stratford for a day out, we had seen several places to eat, but they weren't within our budget (we weren't prepared to pay 'tourist' prices), so we had a look for somewhere that was sensibly priced.We found this lovely little take-away (and bit of cafe). The staff were very friendly and while we were there, they were helping a couple of their customers get to a taxi. My partner had a baguette, which is said was really fresh and tasty. I had a bacon batch, which was also very fresh and tasty too. The prices were sensible, not over-priced at all. I would recommend this to anyone, if you just want a quick snack for lunch, especially if you're after baguettes.

I have often popped in to this baguette bar when shopping in Stratford. I am always impressed by the food available, fresh, tasty and good value for money. A very simplistic little bar, will be visiting again soon.

At first glance this may seem like just another sandwich shop, but the impeccable service by its Turkish owner truly sets it apart from the competition. To the locals it's not "Fresh Baguette Bar", but simply Mustafa's. A real salt of the earth character with a wicked sense of humour, he is always welcoming and accommodating, no matter who walks through the door. Indeed the demographic of his customer base, a healthy mix of tourists and locals, from schoolboys to seniors, is a real testament to its quality. Everything is made to order and the portions are always generous. I tend to drop in for brunch, which is particularly good value for money.
