I went in for a mushroom garlic bread. I was happy with the flavour and size of pizza, but the service is very slow. Felt bad waiting. Impressive clean kitchen though. Not too many vegetarian options. A few people understand English, few don't. Make sure that they have understood what you meant to say.

Big thanks to the crew here. Got lost and couldn't get through the tunnel and they led me to the tunnel so I could get back to Liverpool. On holidays from Australia and was much appreciated for your kind gesture. Thanks guys🙂

Arrived on time but unfortunately the burger I ordered had wrong salad and condiments onand the pizza I ordered was far to salty.

Aggressive, nasty staff and food is terrible. Probably operating as a front these days.

Honestly please don't waste your time on this place. Standards have dropped, portion sizes smaller than they used to be and the food arrives cold. Service is poor and uninterested/passive agressive. Loyalty means nothing it seems. USED to be a great place. Let the photo speak for itself straight out the bag.

Worst food ever!!!!!!! I have been ordering here for over 4 years , my food arrived stone cold and when I opened it it looked like they kicked it around the shop then sent it to my house I asked for sauces salad etc , they put nothing on it , I ordered a large chicken kebab which come with 6 or 7 pieces of small chicken (far less than 1 chicken breast) My partners food was suppose to be large and arrived in a small tray When phoning to complain they did not care at all , all he kept saying was it was delivered and would not refund or let me send my order back and request a new one. He was so rude on the phone that my attitude has changed towards this take away. The people that we know who order here , we have told and none of us will be ordering again , we was loyal customers and you disrespected that with your laziness of food hygiene and how it presents. The way staff speak to customers is awfull this is not the first time I have heard this and now I have experienced this rudeness Can't even find them on the food hygiene rating ............... says it all

Lovely food, burgers and kebabs are the best around. But they have started using really chewy cheese on the pizzas. I feel like I'm going to choke when I eat it. If they got rid of this cheese it would easy go back to the best takeaway around.

Excellent food, really clean environment, super friendly staff and you don't have to wait long!! The meat is Halal for our Muslim friends so it's always our go to!!

Have regularly used fresco for over 2 years now ,delivery's have always been on time or early, food always excellent . Never think of going anywhere else this is our go too for pizza kebabs and burgers

I'd attended a Boo Radleys gig at Future Yard across the road and popped in to get some food. What a fantastic find! I got the double spicy chicken burger meal, with dusted fries and a can of pop, and also small garlic bread with cheese. The food was fresh and tasty and the portion sizes are excellent. Staff are really friendly and the service was spot on. It's also spotlessly clean and you can see the food prep area. I'll definitely be back.

Great kebabs from these late night geniuses. The chips with paprika are a lovely touch.

Really nice food, nice staff and the whole 5 years I've been there they have only messed up my order once or twice and it was because they forgot the drink but it is overall a nice place however I would just change the location and if it wasn't in the middle of Birkenhead it would be even better 👍

Absolutely horrific yesterday the delivery guy short changed me on £2 again and was verry pervy asking my husband were I was who wants that from a delivery driver I won’t ever order hear again plus food was cold

Ordered a take away on just eat and the portions were so generous and at a good price. The food was tasty with one of the best side salads I've had from a take away. Just a shame there was no fridge in my hotel and I had to throw some out as there was way too much for one and it was so tasty.

Really nice and fresh food! Delivery took slightly longer and i had to call up (sorry guys but i had hungry kids) but they were great and apologised as they were extremely busy. Very much worth the wait though, pizzas were the best ive had in a while. Everything was piping hot and could tell it hadnt been sitting around waiting to be delievered. Thanks!

Delivered food in the rain an dropped it on the door step, chips where soggy an when we phoned up to complain they couldn't get the order right twice, friend put a bad review so they decided to call us moaning about it, i wouldn't say it was a good service... friend is pregnant having undercooked food. USELESS

Chips really soggy left it on floor in the rain then knocked what an attitude from the staff in that place and text us after we left a review

Ordered from Just Eat told would be with me by 6pm at 6.15 call them told order on its way at 7pm contacted Just Eat they called restaurant didn't tell me what they said but offered to cancel order and give me my money back what a joke all ways use Just Eat this has never happened before so down to the restaurant won't be ordering from them again EVER

Called in on Sunday afternoon, I have been before, and ordered the kebab meal. Basically doner kebab, chips, salad and can. All very tasty. Price was reasonable. It also did me two meals as it was huge. If you are just after the standard burger, kebab, pizza type meals the place is ideal. Hygiene look good too, it's spotless.

Been here for take away food twice, both times the staff have been really friendly. You can see the food being prepared in what appears to be a really clean kitchen. I have had their lamb kebab and a Fresco special 12 inch pizza, both have been more than I can eat. The kebab was packed with meat and salad, the pizza as the menu says was a bit of everything. Okay, so this is not fine dining, it's take away food, but it is as good as you'll get anywhere.

Ordered from this place far to many times, their chicken is always fresh and the fries are the best on the wirral. Pizzas are amazing aswell as their burgers. You genuinely cant falt the place!

Heaven help you if you order through Just Eat cos when they deliver your food you get some arsey deliver guy telling you to stop ordering from them and use their own so instead. Quite intimidating to be honest. I have then an extra 🌟 for the free garlic bread but I'll never use these again

Finished A 12 Hour shift bought their kebabs chips and chicken everything was reheated and quite frankly I assume was going in the bin but given to me .They must have thought I was one of the drunks that they can palm this crap on so I am going on Monday to see local council to investigate it was that bad . DONT GO NEAR THEM

Order a kabab meal for 1 all salad garlic sauce bit of chilli. Got my chips in my kabab covered in all the sauce lack of salad and meat ruined my tea wont go here again plus the girl behind the counter laugh when i dropped a pound on floor and i had just finished a 12 hour shift and was driving it may of been a saturday night but were all not partying?????

I was really surprised with the quality of food. I thought just another takeaway in birkenhead but my word, the food was awesome, I had a chicken wrap and chips so did the mrs. Would recommend this place.

My friend loved the Donner wrap... Infact she found it extremely sexual! However! It didn't surpass the extreme shock I encounted when I found her engrossed in a physical act of sexual conduct of which she said in delight the girth is immense!🙈 The chilli sauce provided the extra kick that she described as aid to climax! The stains will never be removed from my furniture and my eyes! Ordered late after champions league final. Understandably busy time but they were honest on the phone and told me food would take an hour. Took an hour exactly as promised and the pizza was much better than others in the area! Delivery guy was sound as well. We will be ordering again for sure.

I may have rang up a kebab shop at 7:30pm asking if they did chips and said I might come along for them in a min. As I ended up walking to the place as I'm not from the area I got lost and found another place to order from. If I hadn't I'd have missed public trasport and been stuck. But then texting the number like two hours later over some chips when clearly the person isn't coming by is a bit much.... if it was £20 worth of pizza and stuff I'd understand. But over £1.25 chips... that would have been sold on within mins of another customer walking in and the fact they sit under the hot plate for hours anyway. 👀🤷‍♀️

Been going here while now and the food is always to a good standard, while the prices are fair and the staff are friendly. If you want consistent high standard of food with good prices of food choose frescos! That would be a good idea

Ordered a Doner Wrap with Salad and Onion, dressed with Mayonnaise. And a hot and spicy pizza. Everything turned up, perfect temperature. Best Doner wrap I've had. Ingredients complimented each other. Came in a heat insulated sleeve, sealed securely so no heat escaped. The pizza, flavoursome. And damn, the pizza certainly does live up to its name, in comparison to other pizzeria H&S pizzas(I'd consider a tickle). Just make sure to keep an eye that the toppers don't go a little brittle Fresco. Flavour made up for it.

The food was plentiful and really tasty, the delivery driver was really nice as well. Took time to introduce himself and let me know about the offers as he saw I was a first time customer. Really impressed, will definitely be ordering again!

Recently changed from the place we used to order from weekly and have been trying different places to find a good pizza. We ordered one from here and it was delicious! Arrived hot and they do stuffed crust, I found it so hard to find a place that does stuffed crust. It's great value for money and always arrives hot, the delivery driver is always really friendly and I can't complain. Won't go anywhere else for my pizza now :-) P.S giving a bad review because you didn't get a FREE garlic bread is ridiculous...

Friendly and Pleasant staff. You can either book on line via Fresco free App or Just Eat and telephone orders. Food is always hot and quick delivery ok sometimes its a bit late but im sure the shop does get busy from time to time. Shop always looks clean too no wonder they have a good star rating.

Ordered some food later Saturday evening from the just eat app basically a 14 inch pizza and various items which should have included free garlic bread (we love this) get a call to say they only had 12 inch and if I excepted extra chips would that be ok that was fine. Food arrived and we were minus a garlic bread not once did he mention it, I called to enquire and was told they just didn't have them so we paid a lot for a poor order in my opinion My boyfriend loves this place and has now said he won't order again so this has ruined it for us!!!!

One star as it was not possible to give a zero. Ordered a chicken / shish mixed kebab with garlic mushrooms, they tried to hand over a chicken/kebab/doner mix. They only corrected this by picking off the "good" meat from the rubbish and loading the result with salad. Won't give doner meat to the dog - heart attack food. The garlic mushrooms were tasteless lumps in batter. Yuk.
