Nice place if you like bustling noisy eatery. 5 of us went, 3 were happy with their food, my wife was 'It was ok' and I wasn't impressed. I had a club sandwich and fries and the sandwich was about 2 out of 5, the bread was nice, the chicken was on the tough side and the bacon was a bit overcooked and tasteless. I had a cappuccino and that was, for me, undrinkable. Not bad, I just didn't like the taste of the coffee at all. Would not go back.

Cozy place in Stony, lovely for breakfast and brunch. I have been a few times and again this morning and the food is faultless, lovely crepes. However there a couple of waiters extremely rude which makes the visit less enjoyable.

I really like this place. I feel like I am on the continent.! Third time for me……..the food and service has been consistently good. Tuna tartare and cheese soufflé to start have been both excellent. Rack of lamb and lobster tail have both been great for mains. Deserts both time have been disappointing, maybe I’ve been unlucky. I love a conservatory table in the summer months and a main restaurant table in the winter months (although the flame heater in the conservatory is fabulous). Wine cold and nicely served but no oaky Chardonnay to be seen ( sob sob). Really nice place with fantastic staff - book with complete confidence.

I had a fantastic time at French Affaire! The food was exceptional—full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The Chateaubriand and Lobster Tail was easily one of the best meals I've had recently. Top-quality ingredients and great service made this a truly memorable dining experience. Highly recommend!

I will start by sharing with all of you how well impressed I am by the beauty of the location. The restaurant has an unique and modern decoration and a warm and pleasant atmosphere. French Affair is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a great variety of delicious french meals, well presented and served by friendly members of the staff. If you are looking for a great night out experience, than it is definitely the right place to go for. We had the most amazing time celebrating my friend’s birthday in this beautiful restaurant. Our food was delicious and a real treat. The restaurant was very busy which gave a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely be returning!! Thank you to all the staff for such a great experience😊!!

The service at French Affaire, was excellent! The staff was polite and attentive, going above and beyond to provide a wonderful eating experience. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the smoked salmon, I had amazing experience. The product quality is consistently outstanding, exceeding my expectations every time. I highly recommend this French restaurant.

I’ll be honest; this was a little disappointing. Reading other reviews, I expected better. My omelette was quite dry and overcooked and my friend’s sourdough toast was barely toasted. She did enjoy it however, whereas I didn’t bother to finish mine due to the dryness. The staff were efficient but not particularly welcoming. On the other hand, the place is nicely decorated and spotless. I’m not likely to visit again based on this experience, it seemed over-rated to me.

I have frequented this venue numerous times over the years. I love it! It’s exactly what Stony needed when they first opened. On this occasion I was supposed to lunch with a girlfriend, but we got our dates muddled & I ended up lunching alone. I felt looked after & completely comfortable being a lone female. Everything about this place is enjoyable. It’s clean (including the bathroom) & it’s welcoming. The food is tasty & varied. Enjoyed all the more with nice cutlery & clean & correct glasses. Added to which, whether you are in a crowd, a solo diner, or a cosy couple, this place offers the right vibe for all! Well done to everyone who works here. You consistently provide an eloquent, enjoyable & engaging environment. Thank you. Ps; I will return next Monday with my friend! (We have now sorted the correct dates). 🥴😂

we're booked in for afternoon tea, they were extremely busy, we waited 20 minutes with just water then the savoury snacks arrived still no tea or coffee so we finished our savoury snacks, no tea or coffee still! Sweets arrived and finally tea and coffee

12/10 This was a superb meal and experience. I’ve come before with a group of friends and always wanted to come again but with my family who are foodies like me. Took us ages to choose from the menu. We could have had many things. It was great for seafood and meat lovers alike. Great service. Amazing presentation. Delicious dishes. Highly recommend.

Great food although we ordered medium rare steaks and they were medium well, otherwise everything else was great. Service was attentive and prompt, would recommend to friends and family and would go again!

We visited Fabrice Milton Keynes on father's day amd it was lovely. They could do as per our dietary requirements I.e. without eggs or vegan and it was tasty too.

My first visit and was not disappointed, even though after being seated we were left for 10-15 minutes before our drink order taken. Food was delicious, service of this by friendly polite staff. A wee bit pricey but I guess you do pay for quality. Would happily visit again

I visited with my wife as we had a gift voucher from my Son and family for Christmas for Afternoon tea. It was lovely with a really nice selection of savoury and sweet nibbles. We will definitely visit again for dinner very soon. Thank you.

Just been here with a party of 9 after a family funeral. Wonderful food, a really good range to suit all tastebuds and appetites plus excellent service. Everyone really enjoyed their dishes and we tried a range from the menu. The cafe Gourmand was great for dessert. Very popular as pretty much full on a Thursday at 12pm. Relaxed atmosphere . Highly recommend.

What can I say? The meal was faultless. Amazing service. Cooked to perfection. Very well priced for this quality and standard of food. The lamb rump was amazing and my partner’s Beef Wellington was a thing of beauty! We will definitely be returning.

A really refreshing French cafe experience with a light menu,, great drink choices and perfectly prepared food, served by welcoming and helpful staff. Make sure to reserve a table in advance.

Lovely food, but evening tarnished by absent minded service and being forgotten about. Once our mains had been cleared all tables around us were offered desserts and served them. Other tables were being cleared and packed away for the night. We were looking forward to a dessert and then a cheese board but instead sat their waiting and no one came over to ask if we wanted anything. After 30mins of waiting we just asked for the bill instead. For the prices charged i expected better!

Today I went to this restaurant for the second time and I want to thank them because today I arrived when they were supposed to close for their break and they still welcomed me and my little boy. The hospitality and food for me and my little boy was a 10. I will definitely be back with my family.

Held a lunch here for 16 people for my mum’s 80th and they couldn’t have been any more helpful. The staff are so friendly and attentive going above and beyond what is expected, the food was excellent and even though there were 16 of us we had hardly any wait. The prices are very reasonable and I will have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to my friends.

The food was okay, a little bland. I'm giving 1 star because me and a friend both got food poisoning after eating the eggs florentine / eggs benedict. I tried to notify the restaurant but have been ignored. My sister enjoyed it so if you go, I'd avoid the hollandaise! Lot's of gluten free options. Quite expensive for what you get.

Came here for the 1st time to celebrate my dad and sister’s birthdays and it was so good! Food was some of the best I’ve eaten & different to the usual restaurant's in Milton Keynes. I ordered the scallops , ribeye steak & the Ferrero Rocher bomb. Steak was cooked to perfection & up there with one of the best I’ve had. All the waiters were lovely as well. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere for your next dinner out!

Having been eating here regularly since it opened. The food and service never disappoint with a choice of inside and outside seating in a pretty courtyard. Afternoon teas are sumptuous (always take some home), evening meals fabulous and also a great choice for brunch and lunch.

The food was very good at a reasonable price for such quality. It's worth a visit.

4 of us went for New Year's Day lunch...the choice on menu was very good..all cooked to a high standard...staff very friendly....good value and very clean surroundings...toilet also very clean...

As an afternoon tea aficionado, my standards are very high but the food was exceptional, very different not the usual boring sandwiches, delicious puddings too, beautifully presented. Shame about the entrance to the restaurant, the disabled loo door was open, reception piled with chairs & entered through the fire exit. This belied the lovely food once indoors

Wonderful French biatro style cuisine, served in a stylish setting with indoor and outdoor seating options. The team are very efficient but also friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Loved it!

A disappointment. We visited for lunch, having heard for several years how lovely this place is. It didn't start well when (due to the wind) we had to enter through a side door, which meant climbing over the legs of a staff member sitting just inside the door. The next door took us straight into the bar area, where the server looked so surprised to see us that I double checked we hadn't come in the staff entrance by mistake. There was no smile or greeting apart from asking if we had booked (we had) and then walking off - after a moment, we followed. I ordered a mojito while we looked at the menu - it was horrible. No flavour other than rum - and a lot of it. I used my fork to mash up the meagre lime slices a little, but it didn't really help. I sadly left it half drunk. Starters were excellent. Prawns were hot and plump in a delicious citrussy sauce and the flatbread was very garlicky. Things were looking up. Main courses were okay, but nothing memorable. The ordered rare steak was medium, but very juicy and the frites were crispy. Dessert was horrible. What should have been a flambé calvados apple crêpe somehow never saw a flame and was just a cold pancake soaking in calvados and covered in saturated crumb. Again, the alcohol was overpowering. Our waiter was efficient and friendly, the decor was pleasant, and I really wish the food had lived up to its reputation. Sadly, we won't be going back.

Amazing find in MK, beautifully decorated, cosy venue, superb food and cocktails, highly recommend the lamb rump, melted in the mouth, best I've had. Rib eye steak was also great. Good focused menu.

It's always got a nice vibe to the place, the people here are great. I think I would have preferred a Croque to the Eggs Benedict Crepe I ordered but who can argue with Champagne by the glass at breakfast. The Bloody Mary was also superb.

Went for dinner, and the food was lovely! I would say starters and dessert were fabulous while our mains were just fine - slight room for improvement. Atmosphere wasn’t quite there but overall we enjoyed it and are likely to return.

After hearing great things we decided to come here for my birthday lunch. Quaint little restaurant with a lovely ambience. Although it was busy, we was given a choice of tables to choose from. Service was great, cocktails spot! We was so impressed with our food, I had the Croque Madame with salad, was delicious and very filling. As it was my Birthday I followed this with a Biscoff & Strawberry crepe - oh my it was amazing!! Can’t fault anything and can’t wait to return to try the evening menu!

Brilliant restaurant in Stony Stratford serving top class food and drinks in a stunning venue. We love this place - so much so, we’ve previously hired the whole place for our engagement dinner. The food on our last visit was absolutely fantastic, in both taste and presentation. Everything from the Amuse Bouche through the desert was perfect. The cocktails and wines are great also. I started with New York Sour, which was brilliantly balanced. For starters, we had the Scallops and Tuna Tartare. For mains, the Beef Wellington and the Fillet Mignon. All cooked to perfection! The deserts are presented to you proudly on a tray to choose and I love this. We chose the Strawberry cheesecake and the crème brûlée. They finished off the meal perfectly. This is such a lovely intimate place. A big recommendation from me if you are in the area, and if you are not - it’s worth a drive!

Amazing food and go to place when I’m in MK

One of our favourite places- in all of our visits I can not criticise anything. Great food, good service and lovely atmosphere.

Tried to visit this morning as we had heard some good things unfortunately we will not be able to comment on the food as we didn’t get that far. We sat on a table outside that did not have a reserved sign and waited - After 10 minutes of being ignored by the two servers outside I went inside for a menu toe be tersely asked ‘do you have a reservation’ - we didn’t but I said that we were on an unreserved table outside so I was given two menus. After another 10 minutes of being ignored by the staff, and they were not run off their feet, they were making small chat with other customers, we decided to leave and went elsewhere. Obviously this place is suffering from over inflated self importance and should brush up on their customer service which was the worst I have had in many years.

Lovely courtyard setting and a pleasant spot to sit outside on a warm day. For a lunchtime service, it is slow. Croque was good but too much of the rich sauce which overpowered the filling. On the pricey side for sandwiches - bill for 2 croques, a small beer and a small glass of house wine £44 before a tip.

Food was excellent, service also excellent if a little fussy.

Not visited for a while but have recently been twice for evening meal, once with family for a birthday and once with friends. Definitely the best place in Stony for super food, pleasant staff and lovely atmosphere. Good to see it busy but staff still attentive at all times Look forward to visiting again

An amazing place for brunch. We had a crepe with salmon which should be an awful choice but it was really enjoyable. We sat outside on a sunny day and it was a great place to be at. The only issue I had was that the opening time in Google was wrong and we were there one hour before it opened

Very special little oasis tucked away in Odells Yard. The food is beautifully presented and full of flavour. The waiters are very smart and courteous. Although it was towards the end of the afternoon they made us feel very very welcome. I would also like to state how impressed I am in the cleanliness of an outside bar. Well done lads. I’ll be back. So sorry I didn’t take photographs but next time I surely will and I will share them with you.

I was met by a rude man at the counter. I dined here 2 weeks ago and the food, staff, ambience were excellent. What happened?

Food was incredible and the place is beautiful, we got served by Alex which made us feel very comfortable and made the experience much better, definitely will be coming back! Highly recommend!
