Came here with family today for my partners birthday. The food was beautiful and service was brilliant, Michael was very friendly and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. We will definitely be back

I booked Freight for a small work outting. Nicola sent a pre-order menu with great choice of meals, we were delighted it was BYO, arranging the evening was easy and straight forward. Michael greeted us when we arrived, he was very friendly and the service was great throughout the evening. Some of my colleagues complained that the music was too loud and some of our food choices were altered due to unavailability but that can't be helped. Otherwise, the food was delicious, very generous portions, great atmosphere, good craic and we had a very enjoyable evening. Thank you Freight.

What a joy to have an interesting brunch menu in Belfast- one that doesn’t mention an Ulster fry. The cafe is minimalist with a good vibe and the staff are very friendly. My chorizo hash was really tasty and they make good coffee too!

Had been before and after waiting 2 hrs half our party had to leave for a theatre booking before main course arrived. Granted, a voucher was given to us to.use next visit which was to be in July. My brother booked Newtownards Road restaurant and received confirmation on day before our visit. Arrived early, looking forward to a pleasant evening with good food only to find the place locked up!!! Attempted to call them right away but call unanswered and subsequent emails have been ignored. A restaurant built of shipping containers, Freight is a unique local spot worth visiting. It's located directly next to CS Lewis Square (also worth checking out). We went for brunch, and they have many excellent breakfast and lunch options. My daughter had the Key Lime French Toast, which is an excellent option for kids and very delicious. I had the Black Bean Quesadillas and they tasty. My wife had shortbread hash and kimchi fried rice, and she loved both of them. Highly recommended. And they have a new menu!

I had the pleasure of eating here vacationing in Belfast. Although I didn’t know what to expect, the food was amazing. I would definitely go back again in a heartbeat. Michael our server was extremely knowledgeable with respect to food and drink recommendations. He was also extremely witty and funny and engaged with us throughout our meal

This boutique eatery was amazing. We're traveling and needed some good breakfast grub that wasn't just eggs on toast. The menu is amazing and each dish we tried was stellar. The key-lime french toast is the dish to get here. It will make your eyes go wide from the first bite! Our server was super fun and welcoming with a wit that could cut stone. I wish this place was in our town. Belfast is lucky to have it. De-lish!

Three of us had cocktails then dinner and we all were delighted with our choices. The cocktails were a real treat. My starter of mackerel was delicious and I'd happily have taken the choices of my companions. In fact I want to go back to have one in particular. I then had the ox cheek which was very tender, unctuous, and on a very smooth bed of mash, flavoured with preserved wild garlic. Just perfect. Definitely deserves a return visit soon!

Michael looked after us amazingly. He knows the food is good and it didn’t disappoint! Amazing bodega bagel and the french toast was ace. Wings and burger fries to top it off for an amazing brunch before work!

Music way too loud, not a relaxing atmosphere at all. Place looks a bit grubby and run down. Menu online does not match the menu in the place. Some Items on the menu were unavailable which isn’t a good start. Food we did have was really bland, no salt on the table either which is desperately needed. Brought us the wrong type of fries. Waiter was overbearing and annoying, seriously please tone it down. What really did it for me was being asked what was wrong with my food (as I didn’t eat all of it, the portion was huge, and bland). Couldn’t believe the cheek. I’m paying for it; I’ll eat as much or as little as I want. Won’t be back.
