Frankster's Burgers Leeds- White Rose in Leeds

Food was nice as usual today. Would have liked a little less mayo in my wrap though. Woman behind counter with headscarf made a sarcy remark as I collected it. Wasn’t sure if I had heard her right at the time as she said it quietly under her breath but after reading another review which comments on her rudeness, I’m pretty certain I heard what I thought I did. This place used to be rammed a few years ago but last few recent times I’ve gone, it was alot less busy. Can see why.

Great food, great service. Slightly pricey but you do get quality consistently.

I love a franksters... so this was very disappointing & underwhelming. I wish I could upload the photos :( I paid £2.50 extra for cheesy fries... there was more cheese on my clean....... jacket potato. Additionally the whole order was cold, "come back Jack, come back" Rose DeWhitbucater, 1912. I will 100% not be ordering a delivery again. I advise meat liquor as a banging alternative. Same price don't waste your money on terrible food.

Service was okay, food not so great.

i ordered at 5:30 pm expecting my food to be delivered by 6:30-7. it got to nearly 8pm no show. i had to call the restaurant just for them to tell me no driver went to pick up my order, id like a refund. this was a big inconvenience as i was fasting and this was meant to be my meal.

Received wrong order on uber eats, rang the restaurant as uber eats said they were given the wrong order… woman who answered the phone was not helpful at all and both her and the manager refused to help us and told us to go pick it up (ordered on uber for a reason🤦🏼‍♀️) manager and lady on the phone were dismissive and rude and did not try and help. Rude staff and rubbish food.

Came lastnight and ordered in, didn’t think the chicken was cooked in the middle so I left most of it however did have a few bites before realising. Ended up in agony a couple of hours after, trip to walk in centre and confirmed bacterial food poisoning! Absolutely vile here wouldn’t come back🥴

Came here to order some food but the woman with a scarf behind the counter was very rude. She straight away asked do you need more time and looked like she did not want to be there. They also got the order wrong and did not even apologise about the mistake. I will never come here again and would not recommend anyone else, the food is bland and tasted nasty, what a waste of money.

I found a chip in the bag from the kids meal but no kids meal was there

MY EXPERIENCE THERE WAS VERY GOOD WITH AMIRAH AND YOU SHOULD PAY HER MORE WITH HER GOOD ATTITUDE .

The food was shocking the bread was all soggy and the smash burger was broken in pieces wasn’t together like a burger should be

ordered lemon and herb rice to share with an 8yr old,talk about hot? chilli or whatever in it,do you idiots not realise some people and children have an aversion to capsicum?? you should be clearer in your advertiseing,spoilt what could have been a good meal

They kick u out regularly when not even doing anything. You could be sat there talking normally and they come up to you and say ‘our manager said you have to leave.’ They don’t allow people to be sat there even though they’re regular customers coming nearly everyday. They also don’t allow a group to sit down even if one person orders, they say that the one who orders gets to sit down and everyone else has to leave. Who’s realistically going to sit and eat by themselves.

I was very disappointed with my order. The food arrived cold, and to make things worse, some items were missing. This is not the level of service I expected

We Had to eat when cold as it arrived early and was in doing something at work that couldn’t be interrupted. This made the bread inside some of the sandwiches we ordered go soggy and the chicken had to be reheated. As well as this I was offed a free ice cream that was a Ben and Jerry’s cookie dough in a small so I didn’t order one as I was under the impression that one one be arriving already. The bag for the wings was unacceptable because the wings came and they were slimy due to them sweating.

I ordered the chicken tenders x2 in mild,but it was so spicy hot I couldn't eat it. My husband's order was the same. The last time I ordered them, they were delicious and not at all spicy hot. Someone messed up this time.

Ordered a half peri chicken and rice and a peri wrap takeaway, Very disappointed. The chicken and rice had three pieces in it, the wrap wasn't even wrapped properly.

Popped into here today, first time with the family. The food was great, quite fast service. The girl who served us was very considerate with our order after they said something wasn’t available after placing the order, they then found the product and brought it over for free. It was a drink . Will definitely return to the restaurant at the White Rose. The food was mouthwatering and very filling. The cost overall would very value fir money .

Fast delivery and food was warm no issues.

My food came stale and cold and I ordered 2 hours prior to arrival. I rang twice to speak to someone for help and I got mainly I don’t knows and instead of trying to fix my issue they asked me to cancel

Chips were dry and luke warm at best. I did let staff know, but as we had not eaten since breakfast it was information only and not to make better as it was 7pm we just ate it anyway.

Ordered online. Prices extortionate so I expected quality food. Didn’t happen. Order was wrong for the most part. Burger was tasty but tiny. Got chips with cheese despite ordering sweet potato fries. Asked for a coke but got a milkshake. Icecream looked like it had been defrosted then re-frozen, leaving only a tiny bit in the bottom. Very rare I leave reviews. If I’m unhappy I usually just don’t return. But this place was so bad I felt compelled to leave this review. Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!!

Came here with my family for the first time yesterday . We felt very welcomed by the staff members. A lovely girl on tables gave us a menu she was very polite. Then when we got served by a girl called Aaliyah she was incredibly helpful and explained more what was inside the burgers and what Frankster’s sauce was, even gave me a sample, which taste amazing highly recommend. Everything was clean! Loved it.

Went in for lunch with friends and the service was absolutely amazing! Many thanks to Aaliyah for helping us decide what to order and explaining in depth what everything included and the prices, she made us feel very comfortable with eating here as she knew how to keep guests happy. Definitely coming back!!

Absolutely shocking service and food!! ordered takeaway tonight Missed almost full order and got few items which has got wrong flavour too. Rang them up and told them only thing I got from them is we can’t do anything please contact uber eats. Had to make food at home for kids and us. They really need to take extra care when send food to customers. Absolutely Fuming!!!

I came into the shop and ordered food at 6:00 (i believe the girl who served me was called sasha). She was extremely rude and her customer service was terrible. I was told i cant eat in because they were “too busy”. I would usually completely understand if there were no tables but half of the shop was empty.

I order the same thing every time and somehow you've managed to mess it up enough times I can't be bothered trying again. Fries, chicken, cheese sauce in a box. That's literally all I'm ordering. How do you keep messing it up???? Actually boggles the mind. Your Uber menu is a mess as well.

The senior waitress on duty was beyond rude! My children were so shocked at her awful attitude when we mentioned that the fries were a little too salty. We will never go there again, terrible experience.

Was meant to be ready at 14:15 I waited and waited and waited on my lunch break until 14:25 after they already added 5 mins on to the order!!

I been told they don’t add whipped cream on milkshake when it shows the milkshakes on just eat app with whipped cream on it? I’m so disappointed making me pay £10 for a £5 milkshake without whipped cream? Online order? Upsetting I was craving whipped cream with my milkshake as I am pregnant.

I enjoyed Frakster's during 2022, but it's gone down hill now. I've been a few times over this past year, with friends and family and it has been terrible. We tried different branches, but the quality was bad in every one. Very disappointed, because it used to be so good. Also I don't recommend the cheesy fries. Once we forgot the sauce, and without it the burger and chips tasted very, VERY bland. The staff were good but the food has let the place down. Also it is a bit pricey, definitely not worth the money. The only thing I'd recommend now is the BBq wings.

The loaded chicken fries was the best. The most and importantly am impressed that franksters on the right side of history supporting Palestine.

I wanted gherkins in my box which were supposed to be there. They were inexistent. Other than that, good food.

Burger was nice however Paid for chips and sauce just for them not to be delivered.

decided to forget the majority of the order, so had to share what we had and had no shakes or drinks or wings missing a full meal and a burger That was seperate. its not hard to hand over the correct food

We ate with my family the first time last Friday and it was a good discovery. Staff was very kind,the restaurant so clean ans the food very tasty. Chips are so fresh and the wings are smoke like cook in the barbecue. The best for me is that Frankster is HMC certified! We will come back.

£7.99 for 100mls of icecream. Absolutely shocking. Especially when advertised as a large… Won’t be ordering from here again.

The burger didn't have the correct bun advertised, the fries were cold and the ice cream was crystallised and melted.

Slow service who ever prepared food did not wear gloves

A good burger but the patties are always unsalted. I really can't understand why as it's basic and would make such a difference in flavour.

Fast service and food was lovely as usual.

Nice if you don’t have anywhere to go and need a quick bite, i like their sauce which is good with fries and the rice is always soft and fluffy, however for me the chicken breasts are not tender enough and just too chewy and hard, just my opinion and others may be fine with it.

A more accurate name for this place should probably be "Pranksters"...because once you've gone through the menu and placed your order, it seems like someone's pulled a prank when you're presented with the soggy dripping mess of a burger. It certainly doesn't resemble anything close to whatever you may have imagined based on the description. At £10.49 for a meal, all the Moody Stack does is put you in a bad mood. I suppose the owners will respond with "1m+ customers served since..." so I guess if you like your burgers served as a mushy gooey mess, then this place is perfect for you. On the plus side, staff behind the counter were great. It's also another halal option at White Rose, with a bonus point for being HMC-certified. (On the day I visited, one of the booth tables was completely wonky and the tap for the dining room sink was completely broken. Hopefully these issues will be resolved soon.)

First time going here and wasn't disappointed. Me and my partner ate (and there were chips left over) for £20 all together. Food was delicious and made fresh and you can customise your chicken orders in reference to spiciness. Restaurant was immaculate as well as the toilets and the staff were friendly and approachable. They have made a customer for life out of us. Very relaxed and extremely nice food.

Terrible experience the guy was on a pushbike and then went to the wrong address at first really not happy with cold food especially after paying £28.12 for the food. REALLY NOT HAPPY AND EXPECT A FULL REFUND!!!!

Excellent service, thanks to Salia, she was amazing .. Nice and lovely vibes .. Music is nice , not loud .. Chicken wings is amazing.. Burger ( beef and the chicken) were delicious Lamb chops was extremely delicious… Wet wipes are available..

Bratt the manager incharge was fantastic on our visit, we got a little mix up with our meals, but the way he dealt with it goes to say how he and his team cares for the guests, lovely food as always great service, our go to food whenever we visit Whiterose.

awful! wrong drink (I can't stand lemon) stone cold on arrival, had to microwave spicy sauce to the point I cannot eat it, I ordered mild! melted ice cream. literally could not have been worse!

Very glad to see a food chain supporting Palestine so openly! Good food, good atmosphere, nice staff. Grabbed a bite since a lot of the other food places in the White Rose are included in the boycott-- Frankies is a great alternative, and a rather cheap one at that, for burgers, peri peri fries and chicken, etc.

Ordered mixed chicken/beef box and hot chic - unbelievable meal. 5/5 - sensational taste. Abbas very friendly and helpful - cheers. Aisha also very patient when ordering. All the best, Danny.

Great food can't ever fault it. Staff are lovely. Some of the tables need a bit of repair. Really wobbly. Overall a decent place to eat, get served quickly too.

Good and service was great. However driver delivered incorrect order which was through Uber eats. I was unable to contact the driver and Franksters were unable to help, only option was to request a refund through Just Eat which takes time.

Got a hot mama burger meal and half chicken. Both the half chicken and burger were plain. We been going to the batley branch for a while now and know this white rose branch have rushed the food. It costs more here than batley and the taste wasn’t nice. Waste of money.

Did used to really love this place.... but it seems now, even when you ask for 'plain' lamb chops, they come with some sort of spicy stuff on them.... so yeh rather disappointed if I'm honest an so won't be going back... as don't see the point now.. unless they can actually provide plain untainted lamb chops..

Reasonably cheap, but boy, it looks tired and lifeless,cold and uninviting. It's obviously not the staffs fault, I assume someone higher up dictates the decor.

Absolutely shocking they have increased the size of a kids meal but made the burger smaller! It’s absolutely tiny and for £6.99 a meal it’s a pure ripp off unfortunately. How can you justify this pricing
