Great choice of dishes with locally sourced ingredients, the club sandwich was substantial and excellent and the Mushroom soup with tarragon one of the best I have ever had. Coffee was great and the cakes delicious. All matched with smiling and attentive service

Booked afternoon tea and tarot event, paid the deposit of £15 and informed them I was diary free to which they told me they don’t cater for that dietary requirement but they could make some sandwiches but couldn’t have the cakes- fine. My friends informed them on the day that I was unable to attend due to a family member in hospital, who later passed. They were told my part needed to be paid in full despite me paying and losing the deposit. I wasn’t told when booking this was the case, so what’s the point in paying a deposit? They were cold and incredibly rude to ask for this money, what if I was a no show with no explanation? How would they get the money then? They took advantage of the fact my friends were there to make them pay for my part in full of £40 and even made them pay in cash which they weren’t prepared for. They didn’t offer for them to take my ‘diary free sandwiches’ and were not even seen. Absolutely disgusting and should be ashamed of themselves!!!

Cafe on the high street with an interesting display of local crafters work. Nice to see local businesses helping each other out. Popped in for a light lunch and cakes. The tomatoe and red pepper soup was sweet and delicious 👍. Tried the bara brith, Victoria sponge and a chocolate ganache with salted caramel VERY YUMMY. Afternoon tea coming out looked amazing and managed to get photos of the valentine preparation’s for afternoon teas and valentine antipasto sharing platters to take home (available all week). Customers having the afternoon teas spoke very highly of everything served up 👏👏. All food cooked fresh using local produce by an independent family run cafe. Ideal for baby showers and parties catered for. Love the toilets in here, cute decor.

Best breakfast ever 😋 We have been quite a few times now and we are amazed at the constant excellent quality, we've also had lunch here and can wholy recommend the sandwiches which are a feast!! The staff are lovely too ,we always receive a warm welcome, which is very much appreciated as we aren't local (unfortunately 😀). Looking forward to our next trip soon. Thanks ❤️

Lovely little hidden gem in Dyserth. We visited early on a Thursday morning for breakfast. The breakfast was delicious and all freshly cooked. Also the fanciest cafe toilet I’ve ever been in ☺️

My Wife, myself and our little dog called in today, 25-9-23, and it was amazing! Our first visit and it will not be the last. Food was excellent, coffee was good and service top class. Having had breakfast all over the world this is by far one of the very best. Do not miss out and miss this experience.

Lovely full breakfast which was well cooked and used quality ingredients. We also had sausage sandwich and again great quality ingredients and tasty. The place is spotless and good service plus dog friendly. Took away a couple of scone which we had for tea. Again very nice. Would recommend.

We had a celebration coming up and I decided to book a cream tea at Frankies 6 of us in all. I have been there numerous times before either having a breakfast or cake and coffee. I’d like to point out we do a 24 mile journey just to have breakfast here but we feel it’s worth it. On this occasion it was a special birthday celebration. We had a mix of Cream Tea’s and an Antipasto platter. All I can say is Wow amazing, you made the occasion very special for us. Id like to also mention there is a garden at the back where we have also previously sat (nice enclosed area that we were able to take our dog to)

Made to feel very unwelcome, blonde haired lady who I think may be the owner didn't even say hello when we came in and seemed annoyed we were even daring to come in for a drink. General service was quite uncomfortable. Cash only but no signage to warn of this beforehand. Won't be retuning which is a shame because we always liked the look of this place from the outside!

Called here for my mums 80th birthday for afternoon tea and the service was poor. No smiles just dirty looks and glared at by the owner (blonde haired woman) Think she needs a career change! I’m all for supporting local business but won’t be going here again.

Went here for lunch, food was lovely but let down by very bare minimal service which is a shame. Served by a young lad in a tracksuit and trainers , we didn’t realise until then he actually worked there!? I’m all for younger ones working but at least make him look as though he’s a staff member - maybe a Frankie’s t-shirt or something? …. that’s basically where the service ended , we were never asked if ‘’is everything ok? would you like anything else , would you like another drink or a cake?’’ etc , we sat and waited while both the lad and the woman were on and off their phones paying little attention to the shop floor…. We paid, left and went to Jackson’s nurseries for our other drink and a lovely cake….. would I go back ? …. possibly, to be fair the food we had was really nice

Lovely and friendly atmosphere. Very accommodating regarding the composition of the sandwiches. Cakes and scones were lovely and although there was plenty, we were not over faced. We had an enjoyable time and would recommend it.

Never been here before live locally Abergele. First of all I would definitely come again. Ploughman’s lunch was excellent with really nice ham and pickles. Toasted sandwiches excellent. They were well filled with a very good choice on the menu. Will call back for breakfast at some point reading the reviews. I say suggestion would be to be able to pay cashless. Because if you haven’t got a card with you and rely on your phone you can’t even get cash from the cash machine up the road. Unsure why a business does notI have the facility these days.

Went in for a quick drink, the atmosphere was good, lots of drink choices which Mike behind the bar was really great with helping us decide what to have. We will definitely be visiting again when we are back in Wales.

We only had half-an-hour between trains but we were quickly served in this traditional GWR style cafe. It has outside seating as well and the ham and cheese rolls were a walk back in time to my childhood at Ilfracombe station cafe. Friendly staff, good prices and refreshing tea with all the trimmings. No food allowed in the First Class areas.

Ordered a cheeseburger to take out and I have to say it's the first time I have had a cheeseburger with grated cheese and the cheese not melted, I opened the the tray and immediately thought somethings not right with this, it had grated cheese on it which was cold and the burger itself did not seem hot. Sat on the beach wall to eat it and on biting into it realised it was lukewarm at best and the cheese was never going to melt, the centre of the burger looked undercooked and pinkish in colour.Threw it into the bin.The elderly couple who run this place have been doing so for years so you'd have thought they could at least knock up a decent cheeseburger, HOT BURGER AND MELTED CHEESE PLEASE????

So lovely warm greeting I ordered two strong hot chocolates and a round of Welsh cakes which was duly served and the hot chocolate was nice a strong full of flavour. The staff were friendly chatty and took genuine interest in who you were. I would highly recommend this cafe

Stayed for three nights for our 47th wedding anniversary, our room was clean and serviced daily. Nice crisp bed linen and fresh towels, a lot of money has been spent on refurbishment and there is still work to do. Lovely flowers outside and the views from our balcony were stunning, you must book a room with a balcony as the others back on to the canal. The restaurant does not serve an a,la carte menu, but the food we had was lovely and we enjoyed it. Parking was a problem, i feel that the limited parking spaces by the Hotel should be for staying guests only as the other car park is a bit of a route march and not suitable for those who have difficulty walking. All in all it was a most enjoyable stay but those of us with a more mature figure could do with a Kingsize bed.
