Frankie & Benny's New York Italian Restaurant & Bar - Leicester in Blaby

I’ve came here twice so far, once with my girlfriend, and another time with my family to celebrate my Dads birthday, and both times the food was amazing. Shoutout to Angelika for serving us. Very friendly waitress :)

We recently visited Frankie and Benny's and had an excellent experience. The service was fantastic, especially from the man with the beard who seemed to be the manager. I ordered the house Mac n cheese, which was a generous portion – I couldn't even finish it! The Mac n cheese was incredibly moist, and the cheese was oozing off the fork. I also had a chicken burger and fries; the fries were perfectly crispy, and the burger was delicious. Overall, great service, great food, and good value for money!"

Food wasn't the best menu has changed and it's not as good as old menu morning times today was terrible other than the small Indian lady the woman which I perfume is a manager wasn't even polite wasn't interested and rather abrupt made us wait while she stood there and chatted to the chef didn't give us a kids menu she made the visit terrible the little Indian lady was amazing she made the visit better

Great service and friendly experience delivered by all staff. Very happy with the quality and portion size of food. A wonderful experience had by the whole party. Will definitely come again!

I’ve been coming here for the last 10 years and the food with the service gets better and better!! Lots of varieties to choose from. Our favourite family restaurant in Leicester. Highly recommended!! Reece and Brady plus all staff make you feel welcome and offer the highest standards of service.

maruisz was my server he provided great service very attentive and fast. The food was great aswell 2 amazing female chefs. overall a 10/10 experience will definitely be back in the future.

Me and my family came last week and had an amazing experience, our server accommodated us even though they were busy and the service we received was very attentive and professional, couldn't fault it and I will definitely be recommending this branch of frankie and benny's it was very well managed by the female supervisor.

An excellent discount provided us with a bargain, quality meal from an old favourite restaurant. On Saturdays I suggest you order for 15minutes before your intended time.

We were a table of 6 for my sons 16th birthday 🎂 on Novemer 21st. Food was great, personally really liked the crispy chicken and bacon and cheese burger (add an extra fillet for £2 well worth it) we miss the rock n roll music though, that was the only thing missing, service was good ....pump out the rock n roll from the speakers 🙏

Out for my son's birthday meal, love it here, staff are always friendly and the food is great, opted for a lasagne, with a side of fries and cheesy garlic bread

We are glad that Frankie and Bennys decided to bring back breakfast and we love the Halloween decoration it was the best we have seen so far 👻 really brilliant

2 steaks ordered and both were tough, pasta was very nice but not much of a portion. We found the menu a bit limited but the same as any other Frankie and Benny's I expect.

Had really decent calzone, quite suprised at the place.

Went in for brunch. Food was incredible, really enjoyed. Blueberry pancake stack is a must. We were the only ones in there though, so was sceptical, but was worth it. Recommend for brunch.. :)

Birthday celebrations. Food was delicious and we were served quickly and efficiently by a lovely young lady whose name I've forgotten (sorry) very friendly and knowledgeable.

It was supposed to be a break before we went to the cinema and it turned into a good short eating session. Fast service, plenty of space inside, clean and of course good food. Personally, I recommend slow cooked BBQ ribs, deliciously prepared meat. If you take fries, I recommend upgrading to BBQ Brisket Fries - great combination! Also try tiramisu - it tastes fantastic.

We were greeted by Alessandro on 20.08.2024, he quickly got us seated and took our order, I ordered the Spaghetti Bolognese and asked for LOTS of Parmesan, my daughter had the chicken burger with sweet potato fries, we both enjoyed the entire experience more due to the warm welcome etc from Alessandro, thank you so much, we had a lovely evening thanks to him x

Visited around 1.50 on a Tuesday afternoon. Waited five minutes to be seated in a restaurant that had around six tables. Once seated we sat there for 15 minutes without even being served by anyone. So we decided to leave. The manager said on the way out we are busy sit down and I’ll sort you some discount. We declined as couldn’t see the service or experience improving.

Marius Z who served us at Frankie & Bennies, Meridian Leisure Leicester, was an absolute star. We were supporting 5 young adults with learning disabilities & Marius accommodated all their needs. Thank you 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Firstly, food was frozen and cooked poorly and cold. To make matters worse, when eating my dessert I almost choked on a human nail. After pulling it out of my mouth, i thought I'd find a piece of plastic, to my shock and horror it was a human finger nail. Immediately, l had informed staff and showed them the human nail I had found in my food. After this the manager took my details and did not charge me for the meal. whilst he was doing this, a lady behind had asked me what's the matter and I told her what had happened. Hearing this, she walked out. I was surprised to see the manager tutting and giving me a funny look. He wasn't taking this seriously, when I asked him to sign the receipt to say why I didnt have to pay, he told me he doesn't have to sign anything and refused. It was clear he was very angry and then he started to say there was no nail in my food. then i was threatened with the police and he called them, so I waited for their arrival to explain matters. Whilst waiting, kitchen staff were extremely unprofessional at my families situation, they laughed carelessly. When officers arrived, I showed the pictures of the disgusting nail I found in my food and the officer was clearly disgusted as they gagged upon seeing it. I have recorded this matter and one of the staff agreed with me that it was a human nail in my food but they can't call it that, they must refer to it as a foreign object. He had also said the manager had the nail in a bag in the office. i will be taking up this matter further because this is vile and disgusting, we couldn't stop being sick .avoid frankie bennys. I feel violated. I have never had this happen a hair understandable but a human nail is absolutely ridiculous and unhygienic.

Not been here in years but gave it a go considering they had 30% off for people with a valid cinema ticket. It was quite empty on arrival and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Asked about allergies and were very informative. We ordered the meatballs and ceaser salad with a side of skin on fries, and it arrived at our table in less than 5 minutes. I was a little surprised that you had to pay extra for chicken on the ceaser salad but the price wasn't too bad at £11 and £3 extra for the chicken. The meatballs and pasta came out steaming and had clearly been microwaved. Salad was ok and chicken was only Luke warm and meatballs were very mushy. Fries were tasty but only warm and very oily. Overall it took us 20 minutes to order, eat, pay the bill and leave. If it wasn't for the friendly staff then I would of left. Won't be returning.

Nos encanta este lugar y no podemos entender la baja calificación! Visite al menos una vez al mes y nunca tuvo problemas con la comida o el servicio. Comida siempre caliente y muy buena. Los postres son geniales, así como los batidos. Los menús fijos son muy buenos.

We ordered a bacon double burger and a dirty hotdog. Both were delicious. Also the member of staff who served us was excellent. Really friendly and helpful

A lovely place, we did have to wait 10mins for a table but that was f8ne as we hadnt booked and it was busy, We was seated and was seen to straight away, ordered food and quickly got the starters followed by mains! Food was lovely... felt we got a lot of food for the price! left stuffed! Tasted lovely too! would come back here :)

Horrible ya no hay mucho en el menú, no vale la pena el costo. Menú reducido drásticamente, lasaña es solo que las patatas fritas son extra no hay ensalada decepcionado!

Only come here once in a blue moon for family occasions, but I will never be going back after this. It was a family afternoon for a birthday. The waiters didn’t know how to understand that we asked for pay individually and not as a group. The waiter then did each bill by name which made things easier after explaining it that that is how we wanted it doing. The food was poor, not much choice, way over expensive for what we actually got, poor presentation. Asked for the bill, explained we had a student discount for one bill and had a military discount for another bill. The waiter took my phone, started walking around the restaurant with it, then goes to his manager and then they’re going on my phone and going through apps?! I went over to the manager and explained that him going through my phone was not appropriate, and if they was unsure what they needdd to look for, just ask me and I will show it for them. It was not appropriate at all. The waiter was coming back and forth and back and forth to us as he didn’t know what food or drinks we ordered, but they were under our names and we told him the names when asked. Most of the family were not impressed by the poor service, lack of communication, and all around just a messs of an afternoon. Don’t think I’ll even be attending back there once in a blue moon.

Despite the pleasant atmosphere and clean surroundings, our experience at Frankie & Benny’s was overshadowed by disappointing service. While the haloomi chicken burger received positive feedback from the companion with me, we found ourselves waiting for about 10 minutes before a staff member appeared to be seen. This delay was not unique to only us as a few other customers were also left waiting to be greeted and seated. While the ambiance was enjoyable, the lack of attentive service detracted from our overall experience. Additionally, expanding the selection of main dish vegetarian options would be a welcome improvement.

Just had stacks uber eats , awesome.. never leave reviews.. you guys deserve it same as photos, I live far away .. Good as restaurant..excellent

Really good breakfast.Everything was hot and juicy. The staff were all polite. It was reasonably priced. Toilets were clean.

Overpriced, poor quality food and horrendous portions. To top it off I got so much attitude from the waiter after he saw he didn’t get a tip. Here’s a tip; show some customer service! No small talk, no asking if we need anything else the food arrived, they hadn’t even taken off the seal for the condiments. All he did was bring the food and expects a tip! So entitled, we’re not in America!

Alex and Brady where both excellent as usual couldn't do enough and patience of saints highly recommend incredible venue for any occasion thanks for making it a pleasure 😀 😊 👍

So went for a friend’s birthday, there were seven of us. Calamari starter was awful, absolutely terrible tiny rings in an overcooked batter. The bowl at the bottom was filled with burnt batter scratchings!!£9!!! Then had the double cheeseburger with fries. They don’t even put a small pot of slaw with it. It was an ok burger but £18!! We should have gone to McDonald’s!!! The rest of the group said their food was MAH!! Nothing special and over priced. We went home for dessert. We definitely will not be returning to Frankie and Benny’s!!

AVOID!! Worst restaurant in my opinion. Didn't like anything. You better off with mcdonald's and avoid spending lots of money. Food and drink were horrible, especially the cooktails too sweet tasted like spash with no water.

Family of 6 which included 4 kids and worked out to be about £25 per head which given that included 2 steaks and a salmon dish.. i didnt think that was overly expensive, great service our waiter was fabulous and it was a lovely evening out. If I had to pick 1 fault the music was a little loud and it felt like we were shouting sometimes but that's maybe me getting old 😀 will certainly be returning. Oh and my son the bathroom conisour rated the bathroom very clean and comfortable.

Went for my son's birthday as a treat, the staff were lovely, and efficient. We only waited for a short time for our meal which was nice, only downside is they seem to have removed battered fish (cod/hake etc) from the menu which was a shame

The server was very nice and quick. He brought our drinks over speedily and was always friendly. The food was great. My partners spaghetti carbonara was delightful, and my pizza with extra extra chillis was to die for. Definitely going to be coming again 😁

1st time visiting F&B's in a long time, unfortunately I won't hurry back. 9 of is dined and my order came completely incorrect. It was rectified promptly but the meal was so disappointing, bland and quite pricey.

This was a good place for a meal out, but I did not feel that my meal (the carbonara) was worth the price for the portion size. The carbonara was good, but I expected a little more of it, the cocktail was good and service was friendly

Matiuez served us on our trip to F&B he was very informative and went above and beyond to meet our fussy families food. We had rack of ribs, Christmas burger and 2 x children's meals (including an AMAZING Christmas tree ice cream pudding that the children could decorate , tasted delicious).

Food was spot on and delivered promptly and hot.

Our go-to place in Leicester. Food, price and portion sizes are great. Offers many various discounts. Never too busy, most of the days can easily find place without booking

Pleasingly surprised by the good food! I last dined in this restaurant about a year ago as was disappointed. However on my recent visit last weekend we gave it a chance since it was a Friday evening and the food was good. We had the new York pizza and hot dog, for the price we really enjoyed it. Pizza base came out freshly baked. Dessert was abit overrated and my cookie dough came out more on the burnt side but service was great throughout. For the price wasn’t a bad meal.

Excellent service here, the food was delicious and the waitress was lovely. She handled our large table (12 diners) with ease. Great family atmosphere, friendly efficient staff and good food to boot. Good wheelchair and pushchair accessibility throughout the restaurant. They do a good children's menu too.

customer service is absolutely shocking, waitresses are moody doesn’t hurt to crack a smile, there was a hair in my food, i complained and got asked to leave.

Went we my family day out and we try Frankie we had calzone pizza carbonara pasta and my son had ribs everything was very tasty and service and service was outstanding Definitely we will come back

Nice venue, clean, good service. Food is woeful. Starters are clearly frozen, deep fried junk and the burger main was so overcooked I could use it to play skittles. Servers were great, but how they can serve that rubbish and people return is beyond me. Iceland frozen food with restaurant prices, and for that reason.....

Guy who waited our table was very good however the food was tasteless not good and very expensive!….nothing like like on previous visits to this restaurant! I and other family members now have upset stomachs today! I will never return here avoid!!

It was not good at all, we received the Bill which one was not ours, so if we wouldn't have check we could pay basically saying Twice for Food which we didn't have. Plus Kids came, they have some Food and left without paying...

We drove by and wanted so quick food and somewhere that had a good child menu. My wife had pasta which was tasteless, I had a burger which was so bland. Place looked like it could do with a good clean, lots of dust. Only positive was my daughters food was fine and good value. Avoid if possible.

Food here is stunning! Hats off to the chefs. Accomodating gluten free menu also.
