Frankie & Benny's New York Italian Restaurant & Bar - Birmingham South in Birmingham

Courtney our waitress did everything she could to make our visit enjoyable for our daughter’s birthday and we thank her greatly she was such an attentive lovely girl. Unfortunately tonight there was only 3 waitresses on which seems ridiculous as it’s during the summer holidays. A family came into the restaurant and started to cause trouble and there was no management around to help these young girls out, the family was following Courtney around the restaurant hurling abuse. I offered to help remove them from the restaurant and I also called the police. As an ex waitress myself I really felt for these girls tonight, management need to be on the floor not in an office or off site. Absolutely disgusted .

Great service from Fran, she was very friendly. Food was excellent also; meat feast pizza was great and I also polished off my partner's when she couldn't finish it 😁

Conveniently located opposite Rubery Premier Inn. We called in for a light snack - chips/beer and apple crumble with ice-cream, custard and tea. Served by a very polite waitress called Francesca who took our order efficiently. Food was quickly served and tasted delicious. There's a hint of cinnamon in the crumble - lovely! The waitress was able to answer all our queries (including a question regarding the Birmingham Clean Air Zone; unfortunately I hadn't done my homework and checked if we were in the zone and needed any passes/registration etc.) The waitress was also able to answer a query regarding pre booking breakfast. All in all, a delightful culinary experience enhanced by a conscientious waitress with a brilliant work ethic.

I ordered a pizza (bbq) and had it delivered by a very nice man and it was the best pizza ive ever had i even had to call the shop and tell them and they informed me that it was Courtney that made this pizza thank you Courtney ❤️

Waitress was lovely. The food was absolutely terrible. Seriously not worth the money. Bland, looked awful and what's happened to the menu? Hardly anything on there anymore. Such a shame as we used to come here a lot a few years. Definitely gone downhill. Shame though.

Fran was so great, she Provided perfect service and really helpful recommendations for us. We really enjoyed our visit.

Had excellent service from Fran at Frank & Berry’s tonight. My son is autistic and ADHD and therefore can be very picky, hard to get focus and generally more difficult than most kids. Fran was patient, accommodating and went the extra mile to make sure our experience was as good as it could be - and all with a smile. A real credit to the restaurant and a gold plated example of what customer service should look like. Plus the food was fab. I had ribs that just fell off the bone and glad I took Fran’s advice and upgraded to the loaded fries. Will definitely visit again soon.

Sean, our amazing waiter was excellent all evening. We had a big group, he greeted us with a smile at all points, despite having a new system (which had a few teething problems). Served with full enthusiasm, very polite and professional! Well done Sean, thank you again!

Lovely food and brilliant service. Relaxed atmosphere and staff were lovely with my SEN child. Our food was brought out quickly and efficiently.

Had the half rack of bbq ribs and it was tasty and tender. I chose the sweet potato chips as well and was a good decision. Extra bbq and mayo dips were offered as well. I was served by Fran and she always had a cute smile on her face and made sure the food was served on time. Got a student discount of 20% as well. Glad to have come here!

Fran was a brilliant waitress and looked after us from the moment we walked in. She was very kind and explained everything very thoroughly. She was absolutely fantastic and we will be coming again, we hope to get her again!
