Just popped in for drinks before the theatre. Very pleasantly served by Cabs at the bar. Perfect caramel coffee and served with a genuine smile and eagerness to be helpful. Nice to know great customer service still exists.

Overall, a very good visit. I'd not been for a few years and will certainly revisit again much sooner! We were met and served by Hannah who was very good, friendly, attentive and hospitable. The food was all delicious and good-sized portions. The restaurant itself was clean and tidy and all the staff were pleasant and I noticed it was clear they were well trained and doing things with a purpose. The only thing that let it down was the toilets which felt somewhat rundown.

We were made to feel very welcome, the staff are very attentive, and look after you making sure you have everything you need. Food and drinks were served within a very good amount of time and the food was delicious! I have allergies and the team made sure my food was carefully prepared, and there was a good selection of choice. Great restaurant and very clean, it was a lovely evening and we will definitely be coming back.

Trip was great, but our server, Kabila, was brilliant! She made us feel so welcome, and was a brilliant host the whole night, and really elevated the birthday dinner. Food was good, great prices, but a 5 start server for sure :) she was also super helpful for splitting the bill 🩷🩷

Expensive meal when you get a £60 parking ticket

I recently visited Frankie & Benny's in Stevenage, and while the service from our male waiter and the manager was excellent, the overall experience was disappointing. The portion size of the chicken wings was extremely underwhelming and seemed to lack any quality control. It's frustrating when you expect a decent portion and are let down by what you receive. Moreover, the attitude of the female waiter in glasses really soured the experience. She seemed disinterested and disengaged, which made the dining atmosphere uncomfortable. Her lack of enthusiasm and poor customer service made it clear she didn’t want to be there, which is unacceptable in a hospitality setting. Despite the good efforts of the manager and our male waiter, this visit fell short of expectations, and unfortunately, I will not be returning to this establishment.

Great food and service, haven't visited F&B since before the pandemic but it's nice to see the food quality and service haven't changed. The only thing I missed was the music wasn't as good as it used to be, but otherwise perfect. We will definitely be back soon!

do NOT get a pasta dish unless you are craving washing up liquid and want a bad stomach, constant stops to the toilet and a high temperature for days. other than that the service was decent, very dead place though.

We visited the Stevenage restaurant on 1st August 2024 which was the day before I got married with my bride to be party. I then returned on 4th August with my now husband and that was our 1st meal together as husband and wife. The staff were superb and even gave us a round of free drinks and a dessert to share too congratulate us on our marriage that took place on 2nd August. We couldn’t have asked for a better service or a tastier meal. Thank you Stevenage team and restaurant.

After watching Sunday Brunch, we visited the leisure park to see where we could actually have brunch and discovered Frankie and Benny's offer such a menu. It was very quiet inside, with only one other occupied table. We were sat quickly and served really good coffee. The menu offered a variety of classic dishes such as English breakfast but also some more modern ones like avocado on toast with poached egg. This was ordered alongside mushroom and cherry tomato hash. Both were very good indeed, generous portions, and the eggs on both plates were cooked very well, running with yolk. My only negativity being that I would have liked a tad more hot sauce. Highly recommended for that Sunday brunch fix!

We went in today as a family. The girl who served us was lovely. Food was quick but the portions were absolutely disgusting for the price. I had lasagna, 2 layers and it was the smallest piece and not much filling. I work in school kitchens and a key stage 1 child gets a better portion than what I got. And it cost me nearly 14.00. My daughter and partner had the bolognaise with hardly any meat and sauce. The children’s meals were ok. Actually got more for their money than adults. Very expensive for what we got. Gone very very down hill. Won’t ever go back. Heard another table complain about the quality of the food as well. The waitress was lovely. She was the only decent thing about the whole experience.

Cheap and nearly cheerful, service 10/10 but the standards of the food compared to what I know from back in the day was poorer than poor, bbq chicken pizza with added peperoni tasted like a flip flop that's been left in the sun for about 2 and a half days. For starters I had the mozzarella dippers, for one there were 7 dippers for £7.45 and they tasted like the ones you get from macdonalds for a hell of a lot cheaper

We visited in bank holiday Monday and was served quickly and efficiently by a young lad called Kai he was really friendly and helpful. Our food came promptly and tasted lovely. It’s so refreshing to come to restaurant where everything just runs smoothly. Thank you

Saf who works in the Stevenage branch is one of the main reasons we constantly go here. Service is always top notch and he's a credit to this place. If he ever leaves, we'll probably stop coming here. He deserves all the recognition in the world. A real stand up guy.

Couldn't fault the service we received, waitress was lovely, friendly and polite. The service was quick, food was hot and tasty, we had wraps (one chicken, one halloumi) with fries, coleslaw and onion rings, then had Tiramisu for dessert and I had a liquor coffee with Tia Maria to finish. The restaurant was surprisingly empty on a Friday lunchtime, we're a couple of tables occupied outside (where we sat due to the gorgeous weather) and that was it. Not overly cheap but also not the most expensive place to go. All in all, we had a very nice lunch.

Absolutely amazing service from the lady that served us today but sadly a situation between two other customers ruined our meal. A father and son was enjoying a meal when the boy dropped a chip on the floor and some weirdo sitting in the table next to them, picked the chip up off the floor, and threw it onto the plate of the child. The dad was understandably angry and was clearly directing his anger toward the person that did it, not at the manager, but the manager dealt with the situation awfully. I understand it's not an easy situation to deal with as it's one persons word against another but it didn't seem like the manager even asked the other customers if they saw anything. No cameras checked. Also, I'm not sure if the dad got a refund or not but even if he did, he still stayed around and had a go at the man that did it. That tells me he wasn't making it up for a refund or anything like that. The manager seem to just expect the dad to calm down, HIM move seats and be happy with the man not receiving any form of punishment (I.e. get kicked out.) Situation couldn't have been deal with worse

I tried to book a table two days ago on the website for 20 people. The message said *Please note this booking is not yet confirmed* I never heard back so rang the restaurant yesterday. I was told the manager would ring me at 10am today. No phone call, so I ring them today. No space on Saturday 4th May for that time....... Thank you Frankie and Benny's. You could have told me this two days ago. Thank you for wasting my time. The customer service is terrible. I will be taking my custom else where.

Super efficient serving time! The waitress was lovely and helped us understand what my partner with a peanut allergy could have and how the restaurant works to prevent cross contamination. The food was delicious - definitely worth coming back!

I went on a Saturday after the bank holiday weekend, not long after midday. It had been a long while since I had last been to a F&B. My server was Kabita and she was lovely. I received my burger in lightning fast time, I don't think I have ever experienced such a short time between ordering and receiving my food! The double bacon cheeseburger was delicious, succulent and juicy just like I remember it. Honestly it is better than burgers twice the price. I chose the mega waffle for dessert - easily the largest pudding I have ever had, so make sure you are ready for it! All in all I had a lovely time, and I look forward to coming back the next time I feel like treating myself when I visit the nearby Cineworld.

I went in to just get some lunch as I was on the stevenage shopping centre, and the workers were really kind and helpful they took the coeliac / gluten free food really seriously. They cook the gluten B free food separate from the gluten food. We had the ‘kids’ chicken nuggets and chips, it was the perfect amount of food for the ‘small eaters’. Another family member had the ‘crispy chicken burger’, he says it was really good the chicken was cooked, right amount of chips good amount of mayo. Another family member had the pizza (gluten free), it came served pre cut, she says it was really good and yummy. Another had a lasagna she says it was really good well. For the deserts I had the rolos and cookie dough with ice cream it was very tasty. The others had the gluten free brownie and ice cream it was very tasty Overall I HIGHLY recommend. It’s also a great restaurant for days out.

I was staying in a near by hotel and this was really easy to get to. The staff were very friendly, food arrived quickly and it was all excellent.

I can't say a bad word about the wait staff. Gosha was fabulous. I hope I spelled her name right. If you're vegetarian like we are, I highly recommend the vegan hotdog.

OK breakfast, not the best value for money.

Nice place, menu seems smaller on choices but does make things easier to pick from. Restaurant well lit, music at a nice level and the server we had was really friendly and made my daughter have a nice time bringing her crayons and colouring pictures while waiting for food to arrive.

It was my friend’s birthday so we had to have a simple celebration. The guy who worked there went over and beyond to make sure our expectations are met. Keep up the good work 👍🏼

What when they can be bothered to answer the call. 19 calls in still no answer there is no sauce on the waffle it looks like it has been thrown all over the box. And the delivery driver handed the bag over tipped up 25 calls in still no answer 40 calls still no answer banana looks all bruised and brown

Very friendly welcome we arrived earlier than booked but wasn't a problem we were seated straight away and the food was served very quickly. Delicious food. We had a person in our group with several allergies and this was delt with very efficiently.

We popped out for a treat and Frankie & Bennys in Stevenage is a must, we were lucky to get a table as we hadn’t booked and was lucky enough to get Cabs as our server, she is fantastic wealth of information on the food, I’m veggie but I don’t like spicy food so she helped out. I went for the vegan burger, the chips were delicious and hot, although they should be bottomless. The burger was amazing I think I will have to have hummus on every burger from now on. My partner wasn’t sure what to have but again Cabs came to the rescue and advised him he had a chicken and bacon burger, again enjoyed. We then had to have apple crumble, so fluffing yummy. Great atmosphere, top serve and amazing food, no pics as I was too busy enjoying. Highly recommend and will be returning, also added bonus they do NHS discount on the date we went.

L'accueil est sympathique, les plats (pâtes) sont poivrés. Les serveurs sont géniaux mais parles un peu trop vite (car nous ne parlons pas anglais). Les anniversaires sont fêtés et célébré par les barmaid et tout cela en musique.

Came here for dinner & dessert, left with bad taste in my mouth… we were greeted by the host that hurried us up to order by saying that kitchen is closing in 5 minutes ( we came at 8 o’clock & they close at 10 ) … we sat down, received menus & host disappeared. We waited long to be served because one host was picking his ear & another one was busy chatting and laughing in the kitchen…we wanted to order 3 courses ( starter, main, dessert ) but was told that chefs will get confused if we order everything at once ( other then us there were two other couples already eating ) food came… starter was edible, main was bland, tasteless and boring. Basil on meatballs was tired and dead, meatballs were falling apart, most likely reheated in the microwave, pasta hard & I’m not talking about al dente. We would stay for a desert but my friend found a hair in her meatball… at least the dish was taken off the bill. Boring food and poor customer service… and one more thing - if staff is talking in their own language they should keep in mind that someone can actually understand what they’re saying about their customers. Go elsewhere if you can.

So firstly, the staff were lovely and the food we did have was delicious, however, my dairy intolerant daughter left feeling quite disappointed. The main reason we chose this restaurant was because they had some great vegan options for her and she was particularly excited to try the vegan mac and cheese and vegan mint choc chip ice-cream as these were her two favourite things (before figuring out she was intolerant to them) and these are what swayed us to visit this restaurant in the first place. The first thing we ordered for her was the vegan milkshake... only to be told they had run out of oat milk 5 minutes later. So she settled for another drink. Then we ordered her vegan mac and cheese main... only to be told they didn't have any vegan cheese. She settled on something else, which she did enjoy, but was left disappointed. Then finally we ordered the vegan mint choc chip icecream which we were told they had. And she was so excited to finally have something that she actually wanted... only for them to bring out plain vanilla. We were told that they had recently changed their vegan ice cream - but all of the items on the menu that include vegan ice-cream still specify mint choc chip. So while the food was enjoyable, it's not the place to go if you're looking forward to dairy free alternatives 😪

Hannah was our server and she was very knowledgeable even about products they use to have but unfortunately don’t have anymore like the cheese fondue (pls bring this back ) and very attentive and helpful when I wasn’t sure what I wanted when she’s in I know we’ll be looked after always smiling aswell that just adds to the atmosphere

Stevenage F&B is always lovely, welcoming and the food tastes lovely. The staff are always keen and always off a good service. Only thing I'd say is that the Happy Birthday song is sometimes too loud. I'm all for joy, but it is sometime loud.

Was hesitant to go to F&Bs as it feels like you've done, you've done them all as with most chains. However, I came away from my late lunch very satisfied. Food came out quicker than any fast food place I've been to in recent years and our server, Kai, had a fantastic demeanor that would bring anyone from 10 to chill in seconds. Nothing seemed like a chore for him and it really made for a great meal.

First time ever visiting Frankie & Benny’s and the food was amazing (definitely better then wagamamas) and customer service was very good as the servers were very nice.

Food came out nice and prompt but the staff service was abysmal. Waited 20 mins for someone to take our order and 40 mins for to be asked for the bill. No check back by server and it wasn't even busy. Wouldn't recommend coming back here again
