Way, way over-priced - not bad quality but it shouldn’t be priced at Michelin star prices! 3 course Meal for 3 people and bottle of wine £216!!! We won’t be back. Old Franco’s atmosphere (and prices) missing - parked in a soulless room to dine in. Management- catch yourselves on with the prices or you’ll be haemorrhaging customers

We have happy memories from some years ago of regular visits to Franco’s, when it was a busy Italian restaurant serving tasty food at reasonable prices. Tonight, we visited Enniskillen for the first time in several years, and booked Franco’s online in the hope of enjoying another happy evening. I have to admit that I hadn’t looked in advance at the menu, and my wife and I sat in stunned silence as we took in the prices. We live part of the year in the South of France, but even the menus there are eclipsed by Franco’s. We shared a buffalo wings (£9.85) and then a seafood pizza at £21.50 (!). A smallish garlic bread cost £9.45 and the cheapest red wine on the list was a Pays d’Oc French table wine at £34.50. Add in my beer at &4.40 and the total bill was an eye-watering £79.70. In passing, I noted that pasta (penne, spaghetti etc) with a choice of a few sauces weighed in at £22.50, and my incredulity reached a new level. I can only think that the management have decided to see how far they can gouge the prices before losing business. The place was half full on a Friday evening, so maybe that is reaching its limit. Certainly, I would advise anyone thinking of going there to have a good loom at the menu beforehand.

Nice friendly service, and everything pleasant but the food was so so. Steak slightly over cooked, calamari chewy, pasta quite average despite the hefty £20 price tag per serve. Overall was more a pub standard feed but charging fancy fine dining prices.

Our biggest complaint is the price and portion size. Seafood risotto on specials menu for £12.50. Was asked if I wanted it as a main which I did. Bill came back at £29 for the risotto - I could have had two starters for that! Partner ordered ham which was delicious but advertised as coming with side of vegetables. Two tiny baby carrots and half a branch of tender stem broccoli. Waiting time was also long but could forgive this as restaurant was busy and we were walk-ins. Cannot recommend.

On top of the subpar food, I was made to wait long past the time my order was supposed to be ready. No one bothered to update me, offer a seat while I waited, or make me feel remotely welcomed. To add insult to injury, their apparent lack of communication meant they attempted to charge me twice for my order. I can confidently say that I will never return to Franco's, and I will actively encourage friends and family to avoid them as well. For the price they charge, you'd expect a far higher standard of food and customer service. Sadly, they failed on both fronts.

Superb food & service in a relaxed environment. Recommended by friends for a family and friends get together and we couldn’t fault it. Thank you all for ending a special few days on a high.

This is our first visit to Enniskillen for a friends birthday. We had a table for 11 on a Sunday evening. The atmosphere was lovely. Relaxed but with a nice upbeat feel also. I had the Seafood anti pasta followed by roasted salmon. My husband had rack of lamb. Both our meals and those of all of our friends were superb. Excellent presentation, fresh and flavoursome. The staff were all bright and attentive. We had a superb evening, thank you.

Disappointing overall. My partner had ordered the steak, which isn't cheap! The chips that came with it, where under cooked and had more than acceptable rotten areas. The pepper sauce was not the constancy you would expect. It was very watery and running all over the plate. We tried to address it with the owner who was working and showing customers to their tables and basically shrugged it off and past it over to one of the waiters. No concern or compassion shown as an owner. They removed the cost of the chips, however, that doesn't excuse the fact, that we where basically disappointed by the service and quality of food, especially when we where celebrating my birthday. There is definitely other restaurants better in the town, that don't just worry about getting people to their seats to pay for that experience. Sorry, we won't be back.

Overpriced and massively overrated. I've never actually chosen to eat here, I've always been invited by friends or family. Every time the service is slow and sullen. The food at best average or poor. Amazed it has survived as long as it has. Much, much better available elsewhere.

We went to Franco’s for a meal last Tuesday. They were full when we arrived so were asked to wait at the bar, which would have been fine if there was someone at the bar to offer a drink. Got seated at a table but it was freezing, ordered and waited over an hour for food, no one came back to offer another drink so sat there cold, thirsty and hungry. Paid £40 for a steak which was tasty but the sides were very mean. Overall overpriced, terrible service and small portions.

Severely overpriced. Pleasant staff but poor service, we waited over an hour for our food and 20 minites before we had our order taken, 30 minutes for a drink. We paid £61 for a pizza, risotto and 2 glasses of wine. The pizza was small and the food was average. The plate of risotto was certainly not worth £23. Generally I'm not one to leave reviews but for the price of food in this place I expected more, very disappointing

Ordered rump of lamb with onion rings and potato normandy. one of the best meals ever. just superb. the lamb was cooked to perfection, jus lovely, some carrots and brocoli, so, so tasty. my wife ordered carbonarra. delicious. service was great. a wednesday night, not busy but def worth going. was able to thank the chef.

As a tourist institution it's a good venue, however for the price the food was just ok - was disappointed by the accompanying vegetables and sides, drink selection was poor. Honestly other places in the town do better food for better prices.

Sign outside said 'open' and the front door was. Walked in looking for lunch. Not a person in sight and all the lights were out. Waited for about five minutes and called out but no response. Left and went elsewhere. Would have been a third visit. First was good, second very disappointing, third......! Won't bother again.

Service was lacking and food was not worth the price. Both of us left hungry after 2.5 courses. It wasn't bad but def not worth value paid

3 of us, adults, stopped off here while passing through. We shared a seafood ante pasto starter, a Franco's special pizza and a carbonara. Portions not huge looking but still enough not to be able to finish, and all very tasty. Ambience and service very good too, and place busy for a cold Monday night. First time back in Enniskillen in 25 years - a shame to see how average and extortionate Franco's has become. Staff were nice but very young, and struggled with our basic questions about flagship menu items. Starter of breadcrumb chilli squid was average and expensive (GBP12). Mains very pricey; GBP31.50 is steep for an average sirloin steak with 2 onion rings, I also had to pay an extra GBP5 for chips - a surprise as I was led to believe on ordering that chips were included. Went to the fantastic Blake's in the Hollow bar afterwards, and my thoughts were echoed by other local patrons who had all long since stopped going to Franco's for the same reasons (expensive, average food, mediocre service). Franco's has potential, but needs to recognise that competition is everywhere now (unlike the 90s) and the value offering needs to become much better to tempt me back there again. Disappointed.

So disappointed, this used to be a top rate restaurant , we've been going for years and had gone there about a month ago too. We thought then it was not up to its usual standard but thought maybe that was a once off . The food today though was poor, eg barely lukewarm - a side order of potato Normandy came in a tiny square, tasteless and not at all freshly cooked. Funny blueness throughout...I would guess reheated potatoes cooked and frozen and defrosted maybe might be the cause of that. It used to come piping hot in an oval dish and delish. The pizza was just OK...they used to be standout tasty. And the prices !!! Wow!! ...really crazy. Last weekend we both had really good full lunches, with oodles of veg , wine, and coffee in a very well known hotel for much less than 2/3 of what we paid today . Lots of young staff but customers were scarce. We really hope it gets back to serving good food at reasonable prices. We miss it.

Went to Franco’s for dinner with our family and friends for the day after we got married, the food was good and is always good the service was poor and there was a birthday party going on in the same room as where we had our dinner approximately 40 at it and the atmosphere was that of a pub so was was very disappointed with that and it being a important dinner I was very annoyed.

Excellent night of great food & service and lively atmosphere. Been a long time since we were in Francos but certainly will not leave it as long for our next visit.

Positive The young waiting and bar staff. Negatives 1. Food is simply just OK for the price charged you will expect to be blown away, you will not be. 2. Atmosphere, no background music sounds like a school canteen will plates banging and people all talking over eachother. If you are looking to treat yourself this is not the place for you, it seems to be a place to be seen in and living on past success.

Like a lot of things Franco’s was better in the 90s. The problem is it’s massively gone downhill. The food quality is average at best. However they charge a premium price. The starters were very poor. The mains were average. The chef seems to enjoy covering everything in sweet chilli dip. The pizza is nowhere near as good as in previous years. The chilli monkfish seems to be no better than super noodles and fish covered in sweet chilli jam. If you want to engage in some nostalgia, don’t come here. Stick on a spice girls CD. If you want overpriced but average food, then this is the place for you.

Very well prepared and presented food. We did not have any booking. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The sirloin was the best I had in a long time.

I really hate to rate a local place so poorly, but I have to be honest to potential customers - this is not the Francos you remember. I have been going here over the years and have fond memories of some great food. However, my recent experience left me pretty disappointed and intrigued as to how a once great restaurant has witnessed such a drastic fall in standards. my friend paid £22 for some chili chicken that honestly wouldn’t look out of place in University halls. A chicken fillet around the size of a lemon, with microwaved rice and …two chips. Meanwhile my c£20 pizza looked like something you’d get from the kebab house for £4. Honestly, given the price, quality, and portion size customers should be treated to a much better experience. My only positive is that the interior and location remains top drawer. I feel bad for the young kids they have working in there and hope management turn things around.

Franco's was recommended by the B&B we stayed at and we weren't disappointed. The menu was varied with a reasonable vegetarian selection. Don't know who came up with the idea of serving bacon and cabbage with the fish but it was fantastic. Would highly recommend.

Living on past reputation but certainly not good reputation anymore. Totally overpriced. I don’t mind my carbonara al dente but not what I received “al crispy” The ham was so salty it was inedible and the potion size was that of a starter for almost £20, not even a sprinkle of garnish to disguise the miserable sized portion. Staff were nice but generally not a place we will be returning.

No atmosphere and overpriced. Made a booking a week in advance for dinner for a family of 5. On arrival we were walked by a waiter through the restaurant to the back, down a corridor and through doors to a large, empty, dark room for seating near 70 people - it looked like a room in a social club. I raised immediately that I don't want us to be here alone and asked for another table in the main restaurant. The waiter stated there were other people coming shortly and all would be okay. Mistakenly we trusted this advice; 10 other people came and that was it. So still 50+ empty seats in the large vacuous room. Food also was a problem: lots of menu items not available including several of the specials. The main issue with the food though was the very overpriced menu for what we thought was average food at best. Our bill for 2 adults and 3 teenage kids was over £220. Over all, felt ripped off with disappointing food and experience. There are much better options for dining out than here.

The food was very nice but very expensive. One group comment was that the lasagne was £20 but you got nothing with it like garlic bread or even a side salad. Pizza was lovely, but again, approx £20 is a bit much for what it is. I will say, however, that my daughter said the garlic bread was amazing!

Food was just ok, we had lamb and a steak and both were a bit tough. The steak also was only served with a few onion rings and no other side's! A bit over priced too especially the wine at £32 a bottle and was just ok. Slightly disappointed and 3* is generous as the staff were very good in fairness

Absolutely beautiful evening with friends in Francos on Friday. Staff were so attentive. Food was amazing. Eaten in Francos alot over the years and have to say this was the best steak ever. Champagne 🍾 was fantastic and atmosphere 👌

This place is way overrated & overpriced. The staff are unfriendly, unwelcoming and unhelpful. When it came to paying our bill, as a group we decided to pay separately but the girl couldn’t split it, said they don’t do this 🙈. I don’t know if it’s a case of don’t or doesn’t know how too. Not one staff member smiled or made us feel welcome. Food very overpriced for what you get. We will not be returning.

How this place has a 4.4 on Google is beyond me! From the minute we walked in the door the customer service was shocking. The restaurant was almost empty and they seated us but said they needed the table back within an hour and a half. Their tone and manner was rude and blunt throughout our meal, including the manager. The food made up for one of the worst customer service experiences but we will not be returning to this establishment

Ate here last Saturday and both my wife and I had severe sickness, vomiting etc the day after which is a pity as it seemed a reasonable evenings meal. Hard to put a finger on what it was but there is little doubt that meal or drink (water?) was the cause. We were on a two week tour of Ireland and the service in the back room by the two ‘lads’ was not shining. Tables to the left and right probably locals were looked after at the expense of us in fact I felt totally neglected.

Nice facilites, good service, the food was ok, however all is too salty to my taste. The bread they served to us was delicious

Amazing food and friendly service. Menu offered a great range of authentic dishes with each course providing the perfect portion. Plates came with even the ceramic being pipping hot, a small feature but the mark of quality as far as I’m concerned. Can’t wait to come back.

Excellent!!!! This is definitely the best meal I’ve had in a long time. Started with the fried Irish cheese followed with the duck breast. Cooked to perfection and so tasty. Very attentive staff and friendly. Would definitely recommend. Need to book as super busy and popular.

Food & service excellent! I was put off because if you ordered a main course the sides were sold separately £5.95 for colcannon etc...

I had booked a table for a family gathering three weeks in advance of the date of our visit. I rang on the Friday evening to confirm the booking for the Sunday afternoon and spoke with a member of staff who confirmed the time, name and party size. Myself and my family arrived at the establishment on the Sunday to be told by a very rude member of staff that firstly we arrived at the wrong time and our booking was for an hour earlier, then proceeded to change her story to that they tried to ring to confirm the booking on the day before but got no answer. When it was explained to the staff member that there was no phone call the previous day and that the booking was confirmed with a member of staff on the day previous, she proceeded to say that there was nothing she could do. We are extremely disappointed in the level of customer service and would recommend people to book elsewhere for fear the same thing happens them and they are left in the lurch.

We had been here many years ago and had booked a weekend away to revisit. Booked well ahead of time and it was as we remembered. Little bit disappointed we were in the new section of the restaurant which lacked some atmosphere but still very good food and service. Shared a nice starter and both had pizzas which were excellent. Certainly a bit more expensive than our last visit but enjoyed the evening.

We had a really great dining experience in Franko's last week. The service and the staff were particularly friendly and efficient. I got a very generous glass of excellent crisp house white! The starters, the mushrooms and calamari were hot and tasty and the pizzas were devoured ...Delicious! All in all a great experience. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Franco’s is great for reliably really tasty food. Service was friendly and quick. It has a big menu with something for everyone. I just wish they’d give the place a really good clean! It’s cosy and relaxed and the decor is arty / eclectic, but it can come across as needing a good clean. The prices have got too high, just under £19 for a pizza is pricing regular people out. Mains at well over £20 and specials at over £30 mean, as somewhere we have been a number of times, we are now unlikely to return. Really lovely food at Franco’s.

Ate here on Sunday 11th Feb... I got severe food poisoning from the sea food special pizza and I still haven't recovered! Disgraceful in this day and age and for these prices.. AND I had to attend a funeral the next day . NOT IMPRESSED!

Went for a family treat at 5.30pm on a midweek over half-term holidays. The restaurant had a lovely buzz, great atmosphere for kids. Meals were served relatively quickly and were very tasty. That being said, the gluten-free pizza made my coeliac daughter very unwell! There doesn't seem to be any understanding of cross-contamination. I could see the kitchen quite well from my seat, the chef didn't wash his hands between stretching 'normal' dough and preparing the gf pizza. The chef used the same ladle to spread sauce on the gf pizza as the normal one, dunking it in the same tub. I also watched him put leftover cheese from the dusted surface back in the tub, then use cheese from the same tub for the gf pizza. In hindsight I should've refused the pizza, but I didn't want my daughter to without and hoped for the best. Perhaps if you're gluten free by choice, or just have a mild intolerance you'll be OK, but this restaurant isn't suitable for coeliacs! On a second, much less serious note, I ordered 'garlic potatoes' expecting garlic cubes, and was served dauphinoise. I told the waitress it wasn't what I was expecting, and at the end of the meal that I didn't enjoy them. She never offered to replace them or deduct from the bill.

Visited this restaurant for lunch today [my first time]. Excellent food - I had the salmon and my nieces had chicken - delicious. Can highly recommend for food and service and we will be returning, thank you.

Soup was good, but that was it.... as unfortunately the staff were rude and not attentive, I had a fillet stake, which was tough and flavourless

Booked for 8pm (5 adults), was there and directed to bar by 7.40pm. Stood at bar for around 20 mins with drink and was then redirected and seated. Ordered after 10 minutes or so and awaited food. At 8.50pm, I enquired about food and was told it would be out by 9.05pm. By 9.10pm, I had enough and drank up in readiness to leave. By the time I left at 9.20pm, noone arrived with any food? After a chat with another customer who witnessed our service/treatment in dismay, he stated that you need to keep going up and reminding them to be served. I am sorry, I am not begging for service. I exited just after 9.20pm and didn't even flag the issue at this stage. What's the point?

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this exceptional restaurant, and I must say it was an outstanding experience. The quality of the food was beyond reproach—every dish was a symphony of flavors that left a lasting impression. The staff demonstrated an impressive level of professionalism, asking relevant questions to ensure a tailored and pleasant dining experience. The ambiance was both sophisticated and welcoming, making it an ideal setting for a memorable meal. I must highlight the remarkable price-to-quality ratio, making it not only a culinary delight but also an excellent value for money. The Peking duck was a standout, undoubtedly one of the most amazing dishes I've ever tasted. The entire family thoroughly enjoyed the evening of fancy dining. I wholeheartedly give this establishment a 5-star rating, as it exceeded expectations in every aspect. Looking forward to returning soon.😊

Didn't care for the starter thought the wings where tiny and lacked real flavour. They were covered in a thick sticky sweet sauce that was sickening. However the main course, rack of lamb. What a meal. It was cooked perfectly. Medium rare. Soft tender and packed full of flavour I would go back just for this alone. Staff quick service Would go back

Food was amazing. I had the pasta and bolognaise which was really tasty. Hubby had the seafood platter for starters and peking duck for mains. All the servers we interacted with were lovely. Quick service too. Would recommend for anyone visiting the town for an evening.

Had dinner here. A nice pizza. It was busy and it was a Friday night. Nice atmosphere and attentive service even for a larger booking. Would recommend. Parking available a short 10secs walk around the corner.

Took my daughter here for brunch because someone recommended Franco’s. We were not disappointed. The food was beautifully served with extra delicious dips, sauces and tasty garnish. The service was excellent. I’ll definitely be going back. 10/10.

Great restaurant, been many times, bit pricey but sure. Very friendly staff, food was top class, I had the ribeye special & was delicious only problem was no cheese board for dessert, not impressed, hopefully get one next visit.

I wanted to leave as soon as I had seen the prices . Understand about price of utilities and food going up, but they have gone to far. I won't be back again. The food is OK nothing special, Service good, but what is that smell in there, mixture of damp and cleaning products. All looked clean including bathroom but maybe need to check for a water leak. Wouldn't be somewhere I would recommend.

Stopped off here after a tour around the Enniskillen area. Lovely venue with paid parking nearby. Very friendly and attentive staff, extensive menu with something for everyone. I had sea bass which was excellent. Would definitely recommend and hope to return soon.

Great place. I first ate in Francos about 30 years ago..the food was good then and still is now. The place has a beautiful relaxed good food vibe with a menu that will please everyone. I would consider it a little bit on the pricey side, but what eatery isn't these days. I would definitely recommend.

I recently booked a table at this lovely restaurant. Unfortunately I had booked for a lesser number than were attending. This was not a problem for our lovely waitress Jenny….. in fact she looked after us amazing well and actually with a little instruction from my Swedish friends made a Cafe Karlsson as good as the Swedish. Jenny is a real asset to this restaurant. Thank you so much for looking after us so very well. 😄👏

I was coming on to write a review but was left with a bitter taste in my mouth at the end. As we were leaving the chef came out wearing his colours. Now I’m Not going to say what colours or what I am. Then proceeded to unzip His hoodie and show his colours off again. This place is fantastic, staff are friendly and were so good with my daughter. There’s something on the menu for everyone and the food is sublime. It is well worth the money and you will leave full and happy
