I have no words. The food we received from this restaurant has to be the best Italian food I have ever ate. You can tell it was homemade, it was simply stunning. Me and my partner are absolutely raving about this place, I would recommend everyone to try, don’t judge a book by its cover as I can’t express how delicious the food was. It wasn’t your ordinary average bolognese and carbonara that we were expecting, it had something extra special to it. Both the chef and waitress we spoke to were so friendly and went out their way to make our night special. Can’t express how amazing the food was, 100% recommend to anyone wanting to give this restaurant a go. You will not regret it.

Lovely from start to finish. We were greeted by 3 lovely ladies on arrival. Seated immediately and offered drinks. The food and service was outstanding. Definitely recommend! Thank you!!

5 of us went to Francos on Monday night. Service was a bit slower than usual as they were so busy however the food was lovely, starters and mains were both 10 put of 10. Highly recommend will be returning soon.

Family meal out 4 adults 3 children, kids loved it, want to go back, we do to, so will be whether it be eat out to help out or saturday night, worth the visit, good food, good service, good host

This is my favourite Italian in the area! The owner is extremely welcoming, friendly and makes you feel as if you are actually in Italy. There is a reason this place has been open for so long. The food is really good and the interior design makes it feel authentic. Not to mention everything is very reasonably priced. Cannot wait until it opens up again after lockdown!

Went there with friends and excellent service, first time being there great food and atmosphere (best tiramisu ever had) would definitely go back

5 of us dined here and I have to say it was faultless,The 3 chicken dishes were all really good and 2 had fish .Sea Bream and sea Bass both perfectly cooked and accompanied with a generous portion of veg and potatoes.Prices are very reasonably most dishes between £8 and £15. The staff were extremely friendly and most helpful.

If you ever attempt to book a reservation for this franchise I’d recommend not doing so as the owner is very aggressive, avoid this establishment like a plague, he was very argumentative and argued over me numerous times! I was just trying to book my sons birthday and was treated like rubbish, absolutely disgusting.

Lovely little Italian restaurant with friendly service and food second to none at a very reasonable price. Did not have to wait long between servings and will definitely be going back there again.

What a lovely meal. We went on a Sunday and we were the only people in there but boy were we well looked after. Food was ace. Service was ace. The whole thing was really very good.

Had a wonderful dinner here. Have eaten at lots of Italian restaurants in UK and this is up there with the best of them. Very reasonable prices and friendly staff. Franco is a great host.

Always receive a warm welcome from Franco, very lovely host. Food is delicious and you are not rushed out either. Love the amaretto coffees. Always look forward to our meals here.

Our favourite place to visit for a meal out in Bishop Auckland. Always welcomed with open arms by Franco and his staff, cannot fault the service. The food is delicious and very reasonable, the specials vary so there is always something new to try. Wouldn’t hesitate the recommend Franco’s to anyone. Give it a try!

Would not go anywhere else for an Italian! My favourite place to eat in the restaurant or takeaway! Franco is an excellent host and the service is fantastic!

This place is very dated (1970s style). but... The food was very good, and reasonably priced. Look past the decor and you will be happy with the food and service.

We were sat on time out greatgrandaughtrrs asked for pizza and they really enjoyed it the rest of us had a mixed choice . The lasagne was perfect thoroughly enjoyed it

We have eaten here a few times now and not a single complaint. Wonderful warm welcome, very tasty food and excellent value. We will keep coming back

we tried this last weekend and i was not impressed..the chips were frozen and the sauce on the carbonara was like watered down milk..there was no flavour in any of the dishes we had and i would seriously not go back to this place..im sat trying to think of something nice about the food but i cant..

I love this place. The food is good and the service is fantastic. The food is freshly prepared and really tastes good. The drinks are reasonably priced, the meals are good value and the tiramisu is superb.

Desde el exterior puede simplemente caminar por pero por favor no. Desde el momento en que llegas allí Franco y su personal es muy amable y acogedor. Y en cuanto a la comida, deliciosa! Mi marido y yo pasamos filete y se derretía en la boca.

When we arrived at francos we were made very welcome Alice our waitress couldn't have been more helpful, our food was enjoyable representing good value for money.the wine list was excellent and children were made to feel very welcome.Also Alice was really nice, the food was excellent and the desert.The only improvement lager on draught would be nice.

En todos los años que he vivido en y en torno a Bishop Auckland, debo haber manejado pasado Franco's /Casa Nostra en Cockton Hill Road miles de veces, sin dudar un segundo. Esta noche nos fuimos para una comida, que vimos cuando salimos a un paseo y decidimos darle una oportunidad. La comida fue absolutamente deliciosa, bonito y relajante servicio, buena relación calidad-precio.

We enjoyed a intimate Valentines meal. The restaurant was very busy but the staff as usual were very attentive. Franco found time to greet us,we are always made to feel so special. The food was of high standard and great value for money.

We booked this on the spur of the moment on a Thursday night, we have not been here for about a year or so . What a lovely meal we had, there was only a few people in but it was aThursday night. I went for deep fried mozzarella with cranberry and Cointreau sauce then diced fillet steak in onions,garlic,red wine and chillies then tiramisu . It was absolutely beautiful . My his band had minestrone soup then chicken with a tomato sauce covered in Parma ham and cheese with asparagus and potato and cauliflower and broccoli came with it as side dish. We drank of course Peroni, all in all an excellent meal and would recommend this restaurant .
