Franco Take Away in Hackney

Been coming here since the 90's. I used to work on curtain road at Cordy House and come here for my lunch. Everytime i come back to London i visit this place. I get a ham salad bap with mayonnaise everytime!

On a recent visit to Shoreditch (13 Oct 2020) and wanting only an early afternoon light snack and some good coffee, a mate’s recommendation proved to be spot-on. Situated on the north side of the eastern portion of Rivington Street, between Curtain Road & Shoreditch High Street, this café was a real find for me. Run by friendly people (I think Portuguese), it has a mainly British menu. I had a toasted cheese sandwich which was done as I like it. The coffee was great too. Other clients were enjoying a “Full English” fry up, others were just enjoying coffee. All the diners spaced themselves apart intelligently and were quiet which is always a boon for me. The one mixed toilet was very clean. The café also offers a takeaway menu.All too common with some cafes, which still manage to serve reasonable food, is to see condensation running down the windows and walls. Thankfully, there was NONE of that at Franco’s, which means that it was well ventilated. Also, I didn’t emerge with my clothes reeking of fat, which I’ve experienced elsewhere. If I’m again in the Shoreditch/ Old Street area at lunchtime, this well run and yet unpretentious establishment will be the one that I make for (unlike some of the pseud’s paradises nearby, which are best avoided in my opinion)

Almorcé aquí hoy, ya que pasé por este lugar muchas veces y nunca he estado durante la semana siempre está ocupado. Opciones de menú pequeñas pero excelentes y precios muy razonables. Tenía un Pedro especial que consistía en pollo a la parrilla, mozzarella, salsa Napoli y berenjenas y todo vino en una ciabatta tostada. Servicio rápido y un personal atento y sabía increíble. Lleno de sabor y muy rico. Intentaré algo nuevo en mi próxima visita gracias chicos.

We should start a campaign to save our greasy spoons. This is a great cafe and I have been coming here for years on and off. Great breakfast and pasta dishes that are cheap as anything locally. Always busy.

Just happened to stumble across this place in the morning whilst visiting the city knew it would be good by the amount of locals in there. Got the New York panini hot salted beef pickles tomatoes mustard all fresh hit the spot!

Great little cafe serving home cooked food at very reasonable cost & with a friendly smile. All good & lasagna was excellent with a lovely side salad

Perfecto para un fry tradicional si eres comedor, pero también recomiendo sus paninis y spag carbonara! Me encanta el personal aquí, es bastante tosco, pero tendrás una cálida bienvenida! El almuerzo es muy concurrido, así que debería ir en saber lo que quieres ordenar y listo para gritarle a la barra si tienes llevar!

Descubrí este lugar a mediados de 2016 cuando ayudaba a establecer una oficina cercana. Lo bueno es que puedes preparar emparedados frente a ti, elige lo que quieras (mi favorito actual es la mayonesa de pollo y tocino) y te preguntará qué pasaría si quieres pan moreno o blanco, o un bap si lo prefieres, cualquier extras que desee como ensalada, pimiento, etc. Gran tocino o tocino y huevo también, ya que cocinan a pedido. Gama de bocadillos, patatas fritas y bebidas disponibles también. Muy temprano por la mañana muy popular y hora del almuerzo.En la parte de atrás hay una pequeña pero no demasiado estrecha área para sentarse donde se puede comer, yo diría un paso o dos arriba en la comida de la cafetería, y es bastante bueno con una elección decente.Vale la pena una visita si estás en la zona.

La comida aquí es genial, he probado bastantes opciones diferentes del menú, recomendaría encarecidamente la carbonara.Este servicio es muy amigable e increíblemente rápido, es ideal para un almuerzo rápido de entrada y salida. ¡Está muy bien de precio por la calidad y porción que recibes, no podría recomendarlo lo suficiente!

Etablissement modeste proposant de bons sandwiches notamment.Par contre, la table était collante ... Dommage car l'accueil est correct et les prix aussi.

Una cafetería bulliciosa donde puedes comer en el restaurante o para llevar. Voy aquí por lo menos dos veces a la semana ya encontrar unos minutos de mi oficina.La comida es clásica italiana y cafetería todo de buena calidad. El servicio es amable y frenético.Pruébalo.

Vine a Francos buscando comida en un ambiente elegante cafetería. El menú es variado, que van desde los clásicos a las recetas cuchara grasienta país casa Mama's para delicias italianas. (pasta).

Este es un gran pequeño café. Tiene un amplio menú de comida para llevar y comer en torno a desayuno durante todo el día, sándwiches hechos a la orden y pasta y comidas italianas basadas. La calidad de la comida es muy buena, el personal es todo listo amable y el servicio es muy eficiente. Los precios están muy bien, especialmente teniendo en cuenta que es ahora una zona que está muy de moda.

ive been going to this cafe for a few years now and enjoy each visit. you can always find a seat and the lunch menu (especially the pasta / specials) is very good value and quality. the owner and the staff are always friendly, great independant cafe that are becoming hard to find in london

Esto no es sólo un lugar para llevar, hay un gran restaurante sentado en la parte trasera donde incluso a la hora de comer puede a menudo conseguir una mesa.

Normalmente comer en este lugar, ya que uno de mi lugar favorito cerca de mi oficina así que me encanta probar cosas diferentes que hacer aquí un buen desayuno demasiado ... así que vale la pena probarlo
