Good pizza and really friendly staff.

Had a lovely meal here today. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. Super thanks to Hannah who was very chatty and funny. She made us both laugh and I am sure her personality and demeanour brightens the day of many customers at FM, and it did ours!

We were served by Joseph, and the experience was lovely! He was very friendly, made sure we were okay throughout, and food was amazing!

Excellent Pesto chicken salad and Tuna salad. The pizza choice seemed limited, and the cheese garlic bread was thin pizza bread and wasn't cheesy or garlicky. Beer choice was very poor. Nothing available from the oven like al forno dishes offered in other well-known Italian chains. We think we'll go elsewhere next time.

Biggest shout out to Hannah. Sorry this review is late but I could not not give you a review. You were amazing when serving us and you had an amazing energy I’ll never forget!!! Wishing you all the very best!!

Keep it a secret... but this place has just got everything right. Staff brilliant too.

I recently visited Franco Manca and found the overall experience to be a bit mixed. The service, unfortunately, was quite slow. We had to prompt the servers to bring us the drinks we had ordered, which took longer than expected. While the food itself was fairly standard and nothing particularly stood out to me, my partner enjoyed their meal, so it seems to come down to personal taste. If you're after a casual bite and aren’t too pressed for time, Franco Manca might be an okay choice, but be prepared to wait a bit longer than you'd like for service.

We had two of the worse pizzas we have ever had, anywhere. The bases were so undercooked, they could only be described ‘sloppy’. Ordered two pints of lager and was brought one and a pint of pale ale. This was changed, but how can can you get “two pints of lager please” wrong. Had to use a knife and fork to eat the pizzas! My wife didn’t eat hardly any of hers. Complained when I paid and did receive an apology, “sorry about that”. Awful experience, just a few pence short of £40 for 2 terrible pizzas and 2 lagers.

A long wait after taking our order, after half an hour i asked where our drinks where. Then after 10 mins they arrived then food followed. Pizza was beautiful 👍🏽

I had an amazing meal at Franco Manca! The sourdough pizza was delicious, and our server, mzaher ,was fantastic- friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was lively, making it a perfect spot for dinner. Highly recommend!

Hana was excellent service and very polite

We ordered several pizzas of different kinds plus a pesto garlic bread. They were all well made and were certainly authentic in nature. Flavours and ingredients were good. Unfortunately, our delivery via Deliveroo was too long which meant these well made pizzas were cold by the time they arrived. We feel sorry for the restaurant as Deliveroo has let them down (and our Saturday treat).

Went to Franco Manco on a Saturday early evening - restaurant wasn’t particularly busy but it did take a little while to be served. However, the pizzas were delicious and the overall experience was good. Want to give a shoutout to Joseph for being a great, friendly waiter.

Rubbish service came in tonight at 20:30 really didn't want us in or to serve food. When the pizza arrived plates chucked as us !!! Will NEVER come in any of your pizzerias again. Soggy bottom pizza rubbish! Avoid !!!

Some staff were rude. They had ran out of lots of things. My ham was square cheap ham that they didn't even cut up. When I questioned them about the ham, the member of staff marched off to get the ham to prove that it was cured meat but funnily enough, did not return. My food was cold. The restaurant was cold. The plates were not cleared (the children ate puddings with the dirty plates on the table). Alcoholic drinks were served in children's glasses with a straw (obviously very small). Childrens drinks are easy to tip with huge straw and tiny glasses. The entire experience was terrible and so slow. It lasted over 2 hours. We got so sick of waiting, so we got up and paid at the door as we left.

Joseph was amazing friendly, made us feel welcomed was very attentive. We orders the number 7 it was delicious highly recommend! Stunning restaurant and perfect service

The Sourdough Neapolitana experience doesn't get better than Franco Manca. It's fast, it's fresh and it's flavourful! Pick your favourite ingredients and devour the thin, light and hot sourdough from the pizza masters. House wines and other homemade drinks to enjoy with the pizzas, and Italian brew cappuccino or the likes of tiramisus and sorbets for afters. A fulfilling journey. The staff is lovely and will make you feel at home. Hannah, Messiah, Joseph, just to name a few who are always eager to help you! Lovely hosts and a great place altogether.

If you don't mind to be completely ignored even though the restaurant is empty, and all together 3 tables were used. Waitress's speed was close to sloth's. We left after not being served at all after 10-15 mins.

Great place to grab a pizza. Staff friendly, nice and clean environment right in the middle of Lincoln. Prices are pretty good as well. Been back a few times.

We visited Franco Manca for a quick lunch, where the speed of food service matched. The food came out quickly and the pizzas were delicious. The best part of our visit was our attentive waiting member of staff, Hannah. Hannah’s warmth, sense of humour, thoughtfulness and attention to detail meant our whole experience felt personal, authentic and welcoming. Thank you, Hannah!

We popped in for a late lunch this afternoon and the whole thing helped in turning what was a pretty bad day into a lovely afternoon. Food was delicious with a nice variety of options for pretty decent prices, both our pizzas were well cooked with great crusts and fresh toppings all of which arrived very swiftly after ordering. A special shout-out must go to the staff, Joseph and Hannah were super accommodating and made sure we were well looked after, they are a real asset to the restaurant and really put a smile on our faces. If you’re looking for a quick and easy lunch, or a great spot for an evening meal I would highly recommend!

Amazing service by Furdy, A Really nice man he was a pleasure to meet, the pizzeria is beautiful and smells delicious, fresh pizza in less than 5 minutes in their pizza oven. Ella was our pizza chef and was also very friendly. Would highly recommend this place right in the heart of linciln city centre. We are Sicilian tourists usually and this pizzeria is just like sicily. Thank you we will be back!

We ordered pizza from a waitresses that didn't if know we existed, the pizza eventually arrived lukewarm. Then they wanted a tip! Invest in new staff and a hotter oven.

Extremely rude waitresse, got weirdly hung up on the name of a starter and was really hostile towards us. I could see the manager and chef watching and laughing anytime she was at our table. All round pretty strange experience. Plus the food was pretty average. Would not recommend.

Very poor service when visiting this establishment. Over half an hour for drinks order to be taken, missing food, ran out of pint glasses so people had to have a pint served in two halves. The food itself was average, quick to arrive but Definatly thrown together. I’d reccomend taking your hard earned money to Pizza Express 100m up the road. Automatic addition of a 10% service charge added at the end of the bill ! I do not reccomend

It was a Friday evening, the place was half empty and you had two FOH staff that clearly couldn't cope, as they had one 'large' table. Nobody working was in a frame of mind to move faster than a sloth through molasses. Apathy was fighting malaise, and both were winning. We were there for thirty minutes without being offered a drink. Other tables were clearly suffering. We went elsewhere for fear of all consuming hanger. Might I suggest a thumb of ginger?

Enjoyable quick lunch with excellent service from Joseph, who showed great tact dealing with the unpleasant, rude gentlemen at the neighbouring table.

Booked through The Fork app with a 50% discount off all food. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal, we had the cured meat sharing platter, franco special pizza, wild mushroom, truffle & burrato pizza, tiramisu and a pecan cheesecake. Pizza dough is fabulous at Francos, both pizzas had good fillings too. Little disappointed with the desserts thats why we've given 4 stars rather than 5 as thought they would have come with a scoop of ice-cream or whipped cream as seemed a little dry without. Have to admit I have had tastier tiramisu elsewhere, it was nice but I wasn't wowed by it. A little Italian almond biscuit would have been a nice touch with the coffees (the latte and cappuccino were gorgeous). Credit to the staff, who were all very welcoming, pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere in the Lincoln site was lovely, everyone enjoying themselves. We got the added bonus of sitting at a window table, so got to people watch too!! Lincoln is a great city to visit. Would really recommend getting The Fork app as when these deals are on its worth the effort to travel and you collect Yum points at participating venues which you can use off your bill. Well done Franco Manca, we had a lovely evening at your Lincoln restaurant.

When we are in Lincoln we always try to go for lunch at Franca Manca, always enjoy it, lunchtime special, delicious!

Good service but food tasteless.

Everything was "OK" bit there are better pizzas around.

This had the potential to be amazing. The setting was great and gives the opportunity to people watch. However, the service was not so good. There was one person who seemed to be doing everything whilst there were a couple of others not helping her at all. It was not particularly busy for a lunchtime, so I would hate to see how long the wait would be when there are more customers. The pizza was not the best I've had and the desserts were disappointing.

Booked in for Father’s Day at around 12:30. Semi busy at this time so it is probably good to book first. Ordered two adult pizzas and two kids meal deals with drinks. Nice pizzas overall, the dough has a great taste with a decent choice of toppings. And you can always add extra. Kids enjoyed theirs with a dessert of ice cream at the end. There was some confusion of what kids drinks were needed as they turned up at the table incorrect and with dirty glasses. *This was amended at the end of the meal by the manager so we didn’t have to pay for the kids meals *

Ordered two pizzas and the tastes were very good👍🏻. The third photo is the chicken (I forgot the name) which was nice, but £7 for this little portion was🤔….. I rather pay a little bit more to order another pizza🙈.

Fantastic! Best pizza in Lincoln, fresh, hot and very tasty. Our server was so welcoming and radiated positivity. A very clean establishment and well put together with interesting decor and space to move around. Well chosen music added to the experience and I can see this venue becoming a popular late night cafe with live music events 🤞 (please) Looking forward to next visit and hopefully having room for dessert as the tiramisu sounded divine. Franco Manca, you are a very welcome addition to Lincoln and I hope you’ll stay for good

Had a great time here. I made a reservation for my partner. The food was delicious and although all staff were welcoming Joseph was especially friendly, making our experience a lot better.

We came with a dog, dogs not allowed inside. Atmosphere outside was not great. Very nice place inside, with a visible pizza oven. Overall, yummy pizza but salad did not convince.

A lovely pizza restaurant with homemade sour dough pizzas. Could see them being made by the huge pizza oven. Very tasty and would recommend Franco's to those wanting a pizza that is above the norm. Would definitely get the Stilton dip for extra cheesey goodness!!!!

2nd visit to Franco Manca Lincoln decided to try something a bit different the 6 with extra chicken, followed by cheesecake amazing food service and ambience

Enjoyed it really. The pizza was a bit tepid but very tasty and the starter was fine.

Literally the only place I come for authentic Italian pizza! I love the other styles too, but sometimes you just want the original! This is my second time here at Franco Manco in Lincoln and I haven’t been disappointed with service or quality. Staff and owner (I presume) always pleasant and makes sure everything is ok- which is a really nice touch and I’m surprised other eating establishments don’t have their wait staff check in on customers mid meal! Prices are not cheap, but this isn’t a fast food burger joint, and when it’s fast and good you don’t mind paying the extra for good quality! A nice casual atmosphere for a quick bite to eat, alone or with company! I would highly recommend Franco Manca!

I am not a big fan of pizza . However, Franco Manca has the most delicious, taste great, healthier ingredients sourdough pizza made by the young talent Chef Ella . Ella is a cheerful , nice, talent and brilliant, excellent skillful Chef , she made the most beautiful chicken salad and of courses the most fantastic yummy sourdough pizza . I started loving sourdough pizza because of Franco Manca hired the wonderful Chef Ella . I highly recommend to visit Franco Manca . You'll love all their food. Can't wait to visit it again..💕

Brilliant food, impeccable service. Loved having an evening here with family. Brilliant service and they couldn’t be more attentive and friendly. 5* all round. They were happy to let my child with special needs eat his own snacks as he has sensory issues with most foods. The food we did order was absolutely delicious. I cannot recommend the tiramisu enough, made by the Italian chef on site #chefskiss thank you Lincoln Franco manca for a lovely evening.

The best pizza in the town, the Italian chef Edmond prepared a very good pizza dough, we experienced the Franco s Favourite and the wild mushrooms pizzas, it was a delicious experience! ❤️

We visited in the Easter school holidays, a family of four - four pizzas ordered, four incredibly tasty pizzas served! One of the best doughs we’ve had at any pizza restaurant. Service was fantastic, and the staff were very helpful with food intolerances. Very excited to hear they may be a FM coming to our local town soon 🤞🏽

We went here last night for a family meal to celebrate a birthday, we had an amazing time, the atmosphere was lovely, we really enjoyed the beef sharing platter and we each had a pizza which were, on the whole, delicious. The service stood out for us, Hannah was excellent - really welcoming and friendly, we had a great night. The only think that let it down slightly was the price at the end of the meal, drinks were expensive and it overall came to more than we were expecting.

Pizza was below average, hardly any topping on ham and mushroom and baaecwas soggy. Only 1 other table in so not busy.Wine served in what can only describe as an hotel bathroom glass tumbler. Will not be returning

What an awful place, drinks (wine and Gin) were served in a beaker glass and the were super premium prices, then when we said we didn't want food based on the service (kids) we were told we had to order some food due to there licence and then charged a 10% service charge. Avoid

5/5 Highly recommend. Went here yesterday, was going to order a Pizza that wasn't on the menu anymore. But the staff were amazing and were kindly able to make it for me. And it was beautiful. Cannot thank Hollie enough, she went above and beyond with her customer service.

Went out for dinner by myself and had an absolutely wonderful experience at Franco Manco. The atmosphere was perfect to relax and eat in total comfort, with kind, friendly and prompt staff, especially Lia who took time to make light, pleasant conversation since it wasn't too busy. I had a number 4 pizza and it tasted delicious - gone far too quickly - and a tiramisu which has never tasted better. Thank you so much for making my evening so amazing with your lovely service. Signed up for a loyalty card because I'll definitely be returning.
