Very good pizzas, excellent dough, and children eat for free! Service was a bit slow but friendly, and one of the three pizzas arrived cold. This would have been understandable if the restaurant had been packed, but it was only about half-full. There was a constant stream of Uber Eats drivers coming in, which is fine, but it should not compromise the experience of sit-down patrons. We also occasionally felt a less-than-pleasant odour, probably due to unfortunate table location. The restaurant adds an (optional) 10% service charge by default, but this was not stated to us, so we ended up giving a double tip. To end on a high note, there is an open kitchen, which was very amusing to my 4-year old, and the chef was quite friendly.

Excellent place! I totally recommend visiting if you are in Manchester. The pizza was exquisite, and the service was great! 10/10 The lunch deal was: pizza + soft drink ₤10 or with alcoholic drink ₤12.50

The pizza was absolutely delicious—full of authentic flavor and baked to perfection. The staff were incredible, managing our big group effortlessly and ensuring everyone was well taken care of. A special thanks to Connie, who went above and beyond to make our experience smooth and enjoyable. Their service was friendly, attentive, and made the entire experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for amazing pizza and a welcoming atmosphere, Franco Manca is the place to go! Highly recommended!

Visited franco manca didsbury yesterday , 3rd time visiting , we had the new number 3 with potatoes and stilton , great combination! Quite filling and the vegan special from the specials board , great food. Amazing service by connie <3 who is very welcoming and always help us with the menu and wine suggesgions.overall great experience again. Atmosphere has always been amazing in our visit

The food is consistent, food quality, fresh, and tasty Servers and the service is on it!!! we were perfectly attended to and not rushed at all Atmosphere - lots of natural light, spacious, not too close to other and can carry conversation Another great experience and Courtney (our server) helped make it amazing!

Ordered to collect 2 pizzas and 2 deserts. All top notch. Cool vibe while waiting. Was offered a lemonade on the house because the kitchen was running a few minutes behind. I could see the 2 chefs going as fast as they could slinging dough into the rotating oven. Would strongly recommend, just don't be in a rush when ordering at a peak time.

Went in on Sunday late afternoon for a quick bite, although quite busy at the time, the manager came to greet me at the door in no time. I had a margherita with buffalo mozzarella that was deliscious: the dough was light and tasty, the mozzarella topping was super abundant! Service was friendly and quick: exactly what I needed as I was starving and needed to head off. Ordered their homemade lamonade which I found very tasty and refreshing. Staff very welcoming, attentive and accomodating.

Coldest pizza I've ever eaten, congratulations. However, the dough was good, and it had been cooked well... hours before i ate it presumably. Bit too much sauce. Shame, i bet it would have been nice if hot, or warm, or even room temperature.... but it was COLD.

Always have a great meal in here. The pizzas are amazing and the locally brewed beer is delicious to wash the pizza down 😁 Jaylece was brilliant as ever with top notch service. Would recommend over any other place for pizza!

Nice pizzas, but slightly overpriced. Moreover, my advice to you guys is not to assume that every single brown individual that enter the restaurant is a delivery driver! After entering, not a single staff member greeted me. I was standing there at the reception when a waitress from a distance said to me “is gonna be ready in 5 minutes okay?” At first I didn’t understand. Then the pizza chef added “is going to take 2 minutes my friend” at that moment I realised they assumed I was a delivery driver. Embarrassed, I responded “I’m not here to pick up orders but I would like to make one”. Please do not do that again, it’s quite offensive.

Visiting Manchester for a few days and I really wanted a proper Italian Pizza. Lovely place and atmosphere. I had nice time here and had the best Pizza. Such a nice little venue for date night x Loved the chorizo pizza and they really know how to make authentic pizza dough! We had a lovely time, the pizza was amazing, the crust was really crunchy and just as you'd want it. Courtney was an amazing waitress and we were surprised to learn she was new to the job. The Italian wine selection was pretty good, so try the Montepulciano. All in all I can really recommend this place! They also do student discounts:)

ordered off just eat, every pizza was STONE COLD, one of them was completely stuck to the box, all three freezing cold. i live 2 miles away i dont think theres any excuse for it at 1pm on a monday.

Disappointed with the service me and friend received. We were waiting for a salad and two starters for more than 45' even though we were the only table in the restaurant. My salad had different ingredients from the dish description and my friend received wrong order as well. We had to ask for the rest of the ingredients of the dish as they were omitted!! Very bad impression overall, the waiter was really friendly but that didn't change the issue. Truly bad that the place looked so abandoned. That was probably my last visit to this chain restaurant!

Ordered the pizza bundle for lunch. Called with a request and Niamh helped me out. She was super friendly and lovely to speak to.

We ordered a garlic bread and 2 pizzas on UberEats. The order came and was inedible as the dough was so under done. As well as this, the toppings had just been chucked on and it was clear very little care had gone into the pizza, despite it taking a long time to arrive. The UberEats driver apologised for the delay and explained that he had had to wait at the restaurant for ages whilst they made the food, which is just not fair on him. We called up the restaurant and they sent us a new order but again it was so under done. I think they need to extend the cooking time as you could actually see raw dough, it wasn't just a soggy pizza! It is a shame as Franco Manca used to be good but the food has gone down hill.

I always like Franci Manca. Good pizza and nice decor. The only downside this time was a very long waiting time but to be fair we were told about that straight when we walked in.

Visited the Franco manca in didsbury tonight and it was lovely! Me and my family were served by both Anisa and Josh and the service from start to finish was fantastic. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, both servers were extremely attentive! They brought our food super quick (which the pizza’s were delicious and hot), our drinks instantly and in general the service and atmosphere was a solid 10/10! Best pizza and best service, can’t wait to come back again! ❤️

I recently dined at Franca Manca in Didsbury, and unfortunately, it was far from a pleasant experience. The franchise seems to be struggling with some significant operational challenges. Staff shortages were evident, leading to a noticeable delay in service. This resulted in long wait times for both starters and main courses. The burnt pizzas further compounded the disappointment, indicating a lapse in quality control. Overall, it's clear that this particular franchise is in need of a serious overhaul. I hope the management addresses these issues promptly, as there's much room for improvement.

Always the best experience in Franca Manca it is one of my favourite places! Me and my partner happened to be in Didsbury which isn’t our usual local store however we were so delighted with the food and most of all the service! The waiting staff couldn’t have been any more kind and attentive and the pizzas were incredible (I had the number 4) which were served to us quickly and deliciously! Will definitely be returning to this Didsbury restaurant just for the staff!

Food took over 50 mins for 5 people. They can make anything vegan, and they did have a vegan special so that was great. Alas, it didn't taste of anything and wasn't as good as the Franco Manca in London. Didn't even have the same vegan options on the menu as London.

Great service, great food that always evolving and different each time I go. The specials are wonderful and the seasonal extra toppings are always win win. The garlic bread mozzarella is my fav, those big pieces of garlic are everything. The house larger is also amazing. Service is great as the staff always make you feel welcoming. I come to Franco Manca anywhere I am in the U.K. when I fancy a good Neapolitan pizza! Always good food but I’m writing this review today as never in one of these chains have I experienced such good, friendly and amazing service from the lovely Beth! She was so good to us and made our time here so enjoyable & fun! Great great customer service!!

Pizza was incredible but was served by a lovely lady called Beth who made our visit even better. My little cousin is super fussy so Beth helped him to choose something he would enjoy. When we got our food, Beth made sure to check in to see that he was satisfied with his food. One of the best experiences I’ve had at a restaurant and honestly cannot be more grateful for the amazing service that Beth provided us with. 10/10
