Incredible service from Zeb today!

Had a lovely dinner at Franco Manca Bath this evening. Pizza was delicious, the staff were great - we were served by Alessandro who was so helpful and recommended me the number 7 which was just what I wanted. The restaurant was so cozy and the wine in tumblers reminded me of being back in Italy with my family - very authentic! We will be back!

I was on holiday and visited this place because I was craving a good pizza being Italian. I went in and first of all I was amazed by the kindness of the pizzaiolo vincenzo who recommended me and made me feel at home. Fantastic pizza!

Never in my life have I ever had a pizza I couldn’t even finish halfway. I mean…even bad pizza is supposed to be good, right? We ordered on the 31st of Oct at lunchtime and got 3 completely cold pies. I had a suspicion these were not made fresh at all. The dough was very chewy and toppings not that great either. Although I asked chili sauce for one of the pies, it got put in the garlic bread box where it spilled all over, making the garlic bread too spicy for others. Safe to say I will never order again from this place. Just stick to Bath pizza, they do a great job!

I had an amazing experience at Franco Manca Bath! The service was outstanding, especially thanks to Nikhil, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The new Number 8 pizza is very good. Highly recommend

The pizza is amazing, the ingredients very fresh and the chocolate and salt icecream delicious. Nikhil looked after us with so much care and attention, definitely a must-eat in Bath.

I had a fantastic time at Franco Manca Bath. The staff were attentive, and Nikhil, in particular, made sure everything ran smoothly. The Number 2 and 6 pizzas were real winners—flavors were spot on. I highly recommend giving it a try!

Franco Manca, despite being a chain, still remains my favourite pizza spot in Bath. This could be a subjective or objective opinion depending on your standpoint. However, given their reviews, I might suggest it's an objective opinion. I won't comment on the service as this was absolutely fine and other reviews cover this . I will however comment on the important thing, the pizza. I have been to this branch of their chain a number of times over the past year. By far, I think they do the best pizza in Bath. Having tried other places like Dough, Italian Pizza Co, and Bath Pizza Co, I can say with some confidence that Franco Manca offers the best quality pizza for a reasonable price. When compared to more expensive places, like Dough for example, Franco Manca still manages to deliver really great-tasting pizza at a good price. This could be due to their keen focus on ethical farming for their flour, which goes into their dough that is so fluffy and full of flavour, or perhaps it's just a good recipe. For a chain, you wouldn't think it was going to be that good, but it certainly is. The cheese is creamy and tasty, the sauce is rich with tomato flavour and a hint of herbs, while still maintaining a nice, simple structure and flavour. The dough is a lovely, flavoursome base that's super fluffy on the inside and crisp on the outside. The little burnt bits on the top and bottom from their amazing wood-fired oven really complement the whole pizza. My personal favourite is the ham and mushroom pizza. Typically served on a white base at Franco Manca, but I opt for a tomato base. There's plenty of mushroom on the pizza with that nice flavour you'd expect. The ham itself is thinly sliced but still has a nice, not overpowering, salty hit. Everything comes together on the pizza for what is a really wholesome meal. The added dips are a must-have in my opinion, especially the Nduja. Overall, I'd say that Franco Manca represents some of Bath's best pizza without compromising on quality or flavour for the sake of being fancy. It's an extremely tasty pizza. In my opinion, it's exactly what pizza should be. Id highly recommend a Margherita and their homemade lemonade for any first timers.

We ordered two pizzas. When the server brought both pizzas over to our table we asked her politely if they could be cut into slices. Her response was (in an accusatory tone) ‘Did you ask for them to be sliced when ordering?’ Our response: ‘No, sorry.’ Her response: ‘Our pizzas aren’t sliced, they’re served the authentic Italian way.’ Our response: ‘Ok, can you slice them please?’ Waitress: *huge sigh* ‘Sure.’ She was then seen laughing and joking with other staff members, not really doing a lot of work. She wasn’t particularly busy. This level of service was incredibly poor, which is such a shame, as the food was great. There was really no need for us to apologise, but she was trying to make us feel like an inconvenient, uncultured pair of diners. We felt annoyed to have to pay at the end and haven’t returned since. A server with this attitude should really not be working in a customer facing role. Plenty of other people eat sliced pizzas at this establishment, there’s even photos of them on the reviews, so there’s no need for this kind of behaviour. The restaurant was also really noisy - something to consider if you’re noise sensitive. Maybe bring your own pizza wheel if you want to avoid confrontation?!

Chose this restaurant for an international friends reunion, we had a fantastic time , food and service were amazing. Special mention to Maria who looked after us brilliantly, great food recommendations and a friendly and warm service all of the time, nothing was too much trouble, thank you.

The place was empty, still I sat at my table for nearly 20 minutes and no one came to take my order. Went to Nando's next door and had a much better experience.

Lovely setting and nicely spaced out tables, the service was great but food wasn't the best. Pizza was nice but the starter was inedible.

We really enjoy these pizzas everywhere around the UK. But at Bath the service is really poor. Our mains arrived with the starter and hence the pizzas were stone cold. They are just interested in getting grid of us as fast as possible. Please respect your customers!

Fabulous restaurant. Sourdough Pizza and salads constitute mains but there is a lovely choice of small bites and appetisers. Friendly staff. Excellent value for money. Inside and outdoor seating. Background jazz(?) music a little too loud but we were sat under a speaker.

The pizzas here are a little different to the norm but still very good. There are some smaller bites and salads as well as pizza but, personally, I would like the option of a pasta dish. The homemade lemon juice was lovely. Service is fine.

I've never been a big fan of pizza, but Franco Manca's sourdough pizza with chicken and zucchini is definitely worth it. This was definitely one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten and the homemade lemonade was also very good.

Has a 10% optional service charge added to every bill. Please stop this scammy practice. Your patrons are free to tip however they wish, and you're welcome to raise your prices by 10% and pay your staff more.

A warm greeting upon arrival, seated immediately and service was very friendly and helpful. A fantastic lunch deal for £10 for a pizza and drink. Drink and food was served very quickly. Loved the atmosphere, decoration and aesthic of the restaurant under the railway bridge, with plenty of seating indoor and outside. The food was absolutely incredible!! Also a great location if you are using the train. Definitely recommend.

franco manca is always my first choice when it comes to eating in bath. the pizza is phenomenal, and with such a range of options and specials, you’re certain to find something you like. aside from this, the service and staff are spectacular. they create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, and if i could, i’d rate it higher than 5 - with special thanks to maria! i’ve been coming here for years now, and whether it’s post-work or post-break up - i’ve always left knowing i’ll going be back soon.

We were there exactly one year ago. We came from Phoenix, Arizona in the states the day before, and this place was the first restaurant after we landed. I assumed that it would just be fair, but we were quite surprised. Everything is delicious here, and the employees were very friendly. I know pizza, because I owned a pizza place. Great!!

We stumbled upon this wonderful place next to the train station. It’s the closest thing we have found to authentic Italian cuisine due to the fresh ingredients. The mortadella and burrata pizza we had was simply outstanding. The fresh green olives were also delight. Dane made us feel so welcome and special. Definitely going back soon before we leave Bath!

My wife and I are traveling through Bath UK and we’re hungry for pizza. I’m glad we stopped in. The pizza has a sourdough crust and the flavors were incredible. Dane is one of the managers there and he was incredible. He told us about the pizza and the area. I highly recommend eating here.

Easily one of my FAVOURITE places to dine in Bath. Anyone who comes to live with me is taken for a lovely treat at Franco. They have a wide range of pizzas and the chefs can get very creative with it which is a lot of fun. The staff are SUPER friendly and welcoming. They're also very very careful when it comes to allergies and vegan food. A MUST visit!

Undercooked pizza on one side, burnt pizza on the other, tomato was not spread, instead dumped in one glob. Hair was found in the icecream. Apart from those unfortunate negative experiences regarding the food, the service was quick and efficient, lovely staff very accommodating to walk ins.

Always delighted when a town I visit has a Franco Manca. The pizzas are the best chain ones so far, always a safe bet and always a great standard. This one was one of the smaller ones I have visited and was shown by the great customer service

I absolutely love this restaurant It’s SO reasonable that I can visit all the time!! I’ve never had SUCH a tasty marinara, who knew a pizza could taste so good with no cheese!! I do help myself to a generous drizzle of chilli oil (as I do wherever I go) and I LOVE that it’s left on the table for you to use throughout your meal, and it’s such good chilli oil too!! The actual pizza oven is decorated with really lovely mosaic pieces which is such a nice touch Really lovely helpful staff too :)

Three of us eating, two had the 'special' pizzas, one veg, one meat which they said were delicious. I had the chicken salad which had a wonderful dressing and fresh ingredients but very little chicken, a shame because the desserts were also wonderful and I would otherwise have given 5 stars for everything!

Opted for this pizza joint based on high ratings. The pizza was solid, fresh, and reasonably priced. However, the letdown came with the lemonade, which didn't quite hit the spot for me. Service was a bit slow despite the restaurant not being overly crowded.

The waiter we had was obviously very new but polite and friendly. Food was excellent, my only criticism was too much dressing on the salad but I know that is personal preference. Amazing quality ingredients cooked well as Italian should be. Discovered a little gem and will definitely be back. It was quite noisy and they had to keep opening the door so ie to their c2o alarm but not to be helped.
