Everithing super good. Medina is very friendly and gentle. We will come back. Covent garden always wonderful and restaurant at the same level

Don't go to this restaurant! A tourist trap that accepts and offers reservations at 22:30 and 23:00, but once you're there and have had your first drink, they tell you to order and eat straight away, because they close at 23:00. So here we are with our pizzas 5min after arriving at the same time as the aperitif and at 23:00 (10min later) they come to put the chairs on the tables next to us and vacuum next to us. What's more, the whole team stands at the bar waiting and watching us. We had to eat, drink and leave in 40 minutes. I understand that it's late, but they didn't offer this availability and above all they waited until it was too late for us to turn around to warn us! What's more, the service is abysmal: not a smile, no politeness, and it was up to us to put our plates and cutlery in our places! And the food is really not that great. Not to mention that when you deduct the 35% tip from the bill, the waiter blows in your face.

We had not planned to eat here but something happened with our reservation at another place and this was close by and had a table. We all has our own pizza and the combinations they used were great. It was a fantastic way to end our busy day with yummy pizza and glasses of wine. The room was open and pretty loud but the service was fast and friendly.

I visited Franco Marca last night with my dad and sister to celebrate my dad’s birthday. We had a really lovely tasting pizza and thoroughly enjoyed it. I mentioned it was my Dad’s birthday and your staff very kindly wished him happy birthday and brought out a tiramisu cake which was a really nice touch and doing it free of charge. We live in Surrey and will definitely be back soon and next time with my Mum and Nan.

Amazing find in Covent Garden. Great food and great service from Vishnu. I would thoroughly recommend this little gem.

We had an incredible meal here, the food was amazing and the service was perfect, so quick and friendly. Vishnu was brilliant, so friendly and efficient! We will be back again soon!

Stumbled upon this place near our hotel and St. Paul’s Cathedral, although I believe they have a few locations around the city. Pizza was excellent and reasonably priced. Two can share with a salad. Burrata with grilled artichoke was great as well.

Great location and great service from Vishnu. Would definitely recommend. The pizza was delicious. Loved the outdoor seating.

A gem of a find, we came across the restaurant purely by accident and were so glad we did. Whilst not packed it was busy but a waitress called Medina immediately offered us a table outside or inside, we decided on outside and before we sat down she cleaned the table even though it looked perfectly acceptable. We then ordered drinks and were given plenty of time to peruse the menu. The drinks were promptly served and Medina then answered a couple of questions my partner had about the pizzas. We then chose a garlic bread to start and two pizzas. The garlic bread took about 10 minutes to be served, it was piping hot and the portion size very generous. The taste was excellent and we were pleased with the choice and quality. About 5 minutes after finishing the started our pizzas arrived. Again they were piping hot, generous in size with a superb base and topping. They were excellent in all size, taste and freshness. We were offered dessert but were full and decided against it. We then asked for the bill, it does come with a 10% service charge but the service we had from Medina was well worth it.

We had the best experience this evening at Franco Manca. Food and drinks were all excellent (would recommend the Stilton dip!). Our waitress Disha was fabulous- so patient and friendly with us students making the most of deals as well. Brilliant customer service and fab meal. Would highly recommend to all.

Amazing waitress! She was amazing! We came for a birthday meal and was astounded with the service! Disha was super smiley and accommodating! She allowed us time to find our uni-days discounts even though the restaurant was busy. Throughly enjoyed will come again.

Lets just start off by saying the food was amazing and the food was given to us very quickly… however, there was a problem with the service!! Firstly, we were taken to a table without any salt or forks and the waitress had little to say. She gave us menus and then came back to take our order, I started to tell her what I wanted to eat and in the middle of me talking she walked away? Again, saying little to nothing (whatever she said was very quiet so I have no idea why she walked away). Whilst we were eating she also stared very rudely at us and was definitely judgemental, sorry I was having a laugh with my friends! As I say, the food came pretty quickly after we ordered so we weren’t waiting very long, however, when we were done we had to wait about 15 minutes for her to realise we wanted the bill despite her asking if we wanted any more food, and we replied with no. She also walked past us a little further away multiple times seeing that we had our money ready. When she eventually returned my friend asked for the bill, and we gave her the cash in which she walked around with in her outstretched hand after she left our table?? We had about 9p change which obviously we told her to keep, but she walked away and started serving someone else before we told her that. I didn’t catch her name but if she is new or shy then it makes sense but she maybe needs a little more training. Food was very good though.

Loved the pizza and drinks, the waiter Eddie was also very helpful and friendly. He deserves a free bottle of wine in my opinion :)

We came across this delightful pizza restaurant by accident while looking for a pub for Sunday lunch. We spotted a delicious looking pizza being delivered to a table and decided to try, we weren’t disappointed. The staff were very friendly and seated us quickly despite not having a booking (there is an option of virtual booking), the location was fabulous (felt like being abroad in the sunshine), there was a great deal of choice and the pizzas were amazing. Very reasonable too; especially considering the Covent Garden location. Will definitely be back on our next trip to London - looking forward to it already

Pizza’s looked good. Were slightly dry and quite oily. We asked for all good to come together to make things easier. We were provided with our bill before we had ate our food as the Covent Garden council are very strict and all bills must be settled before 10.30am. Weren’t even offered another drink or a chance to order a dessert. Not sure if this is true or whether the team just wanted to be straight out of the fort at home time. Also now with Covid they automatically get service charge so great service is no longer required in order to get their tip.

I was expecting an Italian pizza but it was more an American pizza, really fat, not tasty and elastic

Sono stato in più occasioni nelle pizzerie della catena Franco Manca e devo dire in tutta onestà che la pizza è davvero buona. Certo in alcune occasioni ho trovato degli accostamenti di ingredienti non certo italiani, come la carne d'agnello e la crema di zucca, ma resta il fatto che la pizza e il servizio sono in vero stile italiano: tanto è vero che nelle mie esperienze i camerieri non italiani incontrati sono stati solo 2. Quando vi siete stancati del fish and chips Franco Manca saprà come allietarvi.

Quería probar Franco Manca durante mucho tiempo. Hoy me han entregado una pizza y ciertamente no es genial y no tiene mucho que ver con las pizzas que podemos encontrar en Italia. Primero casi no hay salsa de tomate, la masa es demasiado masticable. La base de una pizza debe ser fina y ligeramente crujiente. Además, el borde de esta pizza es tan grande que tiene muy poco espacio para la cobertura. Generalmente carece de sabor, en resumen, estoy decepcionado y no volveré a comer sus pizzas.

Visitando a unos amigos en Londres, estábamos conduciendo buscando un lugar para comer y vimos este lugar.Nos las arreglamos para conseguir una mesa, pedimos y el servicio fue excelente. El camarero era encantador y servicial. Las pizzas estaban deliciosas, incluida una sin gluten para mi hija.Ambiente agradable y personal muy atento. Excelente relación calidad-precio también. Muy impresionado.

We just ordered several starters which were all more than fine. The smell when we entered the restaurant was really good and the service perfect. A great restaurant for just a nice bite to eat in the neighborhood of Covent Garden.

Very enjoyable sourdough pizza - all very simple but rustic Italian deliciousness through and through. Questionable wine but then again it’s incredible good value at £17 a bottle in central London!

Popped in for lunch as we were passing as the pizza smelled so good, we were not disappointed. Delicious sour dough pizza, variety of topping with a special board. Would highly recommend, attentive staff and good atmosphere.

Great evening spent with my friend at Franco Manca in Covent Garden served by two professionals and nice waiters called Simone and Gaetano! Great atmosphere and actually felt like being at home by te warmth of these two wonderful waiters! They made our day.

Perfect pizza at such a great price- our pizzas literally came within SECONDS! Would say there could be a more visible board of toppings but pizzas are delicious and a great size. Restaurant is very small and gets busy quickly so best to get there early. Would say it is hard to find where to pay.

Covent Garden seemed a little expensive, so I walked half a block and found a cheap pizza place. My friend and I split a margarita pizza for £6.75, and I ordered a small side salad. This is a perfect place for a simple bite because it’s quick, good, and cheap. There’s not many places in London where you can get a meal for two under £10. Another bright side is that this chain can be found throughout the city.

En mycket trevlig restaurang som återfinns på flera olika adresser i London. Vi beställde vitlöksbröd och oliver till förrätt innan pizzan och hann knappt sätta oss innan vi hade maten på bordet. Pizzadegarna jäser 24 timmar innan den bakas. När förrätten var uppäten tog det inte lång tid innan vi hade vår pizza. Maten var mycket välsmakande och kändes fräsch. Och priset var relativt lågt (ca 7 pund) för en pizza. Rekommenderas!

After two evenings of Chinese meals fancied something different before getting the train back to North Wales on a Sunday afternoon. Was wandering around Covent Garden when we walked past this place and there were several people waiting. After having a coffee we decided to go back. Waited five minutes to be seated. The menu is relatively short but great and fantastic value for central London. We have eaten pizzas in Naples and these were not on a par with then but pretty damn close. All the nonsense about crispy base is rubbish. The base should be very thin and the crust soft and chewy, and these were absolutely correct. I had the chorizo and the wife had a main course salad with chicken, bacon and parmesan. Both were excellent. Wife had a beer and I had a large (250ml) glass of wine. Tap water by the bottle is free and with a mint tea and an affogato the bill was £31.50. No service charge was added (but they got it anyway. Service was excellent and not rushed. Would strongly recommend and it is a pity the we don't have one in Chester.

My wife and I tried the Franco Manca for a late lunch while spending the day in London. Our children and friends have been saying very nice things about it, so gave it a go!! We were not disappointed. Firstly, our waiter was very nice,helpful and attentive. I had a pizza with chorizo and my wife had on with cheese and basil. Both were very good and love the sourdough base. They pride themselves on sourcing good seasonal ingredients, and for a chain we thought the food was fresh and tasty. Add the reasonable prices and his is a winner. We will return to one of their other restaurants and would highly recommend!!

Small informal place with great pizza. Have usually gone to Fire&Stone; close by, but this was a nice alternative. First time tried this chain, but the pizza was good, and even if wine in kitchen glasses are more hipstery than my usual Riedels, it tasted good

Very very busy Italian. Nice fairly priced pizza with a lovely sourdough base. Pretty fast service. They are a chain so other restaurants in the area.

Menu is not big or varied, so you need to like pizza in the first place. But this is such a great value restaurant, especially for families in Central London. The kids menu is the best value of any restaurant we've visited - for a good size pizza, drink and ice cream it's £5. The pizzas are great quality, really tasty with some interesting toppings. Staff are polite and friendly. The place is buzzy. My family are big fans. Please don't change.

The service at Franco Manca was rather slow. We asked about this and they told us that because we ordered appetizers the mains would be out slower. I find this bizarre - why can't they better time their preparation so that mains come out a little after you are finished with the appetizers?

Siamo stati in questa pizzeria uscendo dal teatro...poche parole per descrivere la pessima esperienza. Franco Manca fino a qualche anno fa era una garanzia a Londra...in qualunque pizzeria Franco Manca la pizza era buona. In questo caso la pizza era immangiabile.

No deja de ser una pizzería pero muy buena, en horno de leña, buenísimo precio para lo que cuesta Londres y trato muy agradable. Muy recomendable !

I was expecting stunning pizza but it was ok. What pleased me was the bacon was extremely crispy which you don’t normally get. Also it was reasonably priced for London.

My Scout Group we’re staying on HMS Belfast and we wanted somewhere close to the ship. ( about 10 min walk)We took 16 young people and 6 adults. The food was pre-ordered and from the minute we entered the restaurant the service was excellent. Drinks arrived and the Pizzas were cooked and bought out straight away. The service was second to none a special mention to Elettra, Dobata and Ula. Nothing was too much trouble. The meals were all very reasonably priced. Would recommend to anyone especially other Scout Groups staying on HMS Belfast.

I was hungry along with a friend of mine. We were in covent garden and we saw how busy places were on a Friday night so we were worried we wouldn't get anything. We came across this busy restaurant and the atmosphere that was created by it was just amazing. The food was great we had a starter and a pizza each which left us full but the pizza was great specially considering this is a chain.

Pizza was really delicious but this place is waaaay to loud! So loud that it makes it unenjoyable as it’s hard to speak over the noise and you just feel rushed to leave....

Fantastic pizza on wonderful fresh sourdough made to order with great quality toppings. Also very inexpensive for Central London - most of the pizzas about £8 and drinks reasonable too. Service was generally very polite and friendly.

Our family who lives in London recommended that we come here for dinner and we're so glad that we did. Not only was the food all amazing, there was a really great atmosphere and the staff were so friendly. The best part is that it was so cheap for London - a pizza, dessert and drink for 4 people at £61! I will definitely be visiting this restaurants (or the others in London) again and probably every time I visit London!

Franco Monaco is just great authentic stuff, we loved the uniqueness of the food, the pizza felt totally fresh & the choice of the Ingredients were totally awesome !!

Isn’t a proper Italian pizza, the mozzarella is a British mozzarella and looks like a chewy (yellow colour), the mushrooms it’s the worst quality and the tomato it is not tasty. I know the price is interesting but you can’t eat a real pizza is a surrogate. Look after.

Wir waren bereits um 11.30 Uhr da und durften unseren Tisch noch aussuchen. So gegen 12.00 Uhr füllte sich das Lokal innert Minuten. Die Auswahl ist relativ klein was aber auf den Teller kommt schmeckt. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und speditiv und die Preise sind sehr fair.

Located in the Aldwych theater district. One of the restaurants which serves food after the musicals around have finished. The crew, consisting of two servers and three cooks are engaged and quick in working. You can eat here at 22:30 an oven baked pizza best quality, thin and crispy and in this case with a lot of capers, olives and anchovis.The salad has fresh green leaves, grilled butternut, sprouts, walnuts, a mild goat cheese and excellent artichocks. The salad is not marinated, but there is only one problem, that you have to order vinegar, because these two different bottles on the table are both olive oils, one spicy and one normal oil. On the backside of the menu is a list from where the used products come from, so you have a interesting view about the products and their countries. The Montepulciano from the Abruzzo area is bio and of course you will get a bottle of water beside. Big value for less price.Dont forget to give a tip, because it is not included.

In occasione del mio ultimo viaggio a Londra sono stato nella pizzeria Franco Manca di fronte alla cattedrale di S. Paul, il locale è accogliente lo staff guidato da Alessio molto cortese e professionale. Pizze eccezionali con prodotti di primissima qualità, prezzi più che onesti. Consigliatissiimo.

I only popped in for a bite with some friends but had such a great experience.

After being introduced to franco manca by a friend I have to say that I love the informal feel of the restaurants and the pizzas are divine.

My wife is from Chicago, and an expert in identifying good pizza. She was very impressed! The price was great and the portion size was huge. We shared a pizza that was considered for one person and were satisfied.

Visited on Saturday 21st, rude staff, slow service, had to keep asking for items we had ordered but not delivered. Staff started clearing plates away when people in our group were still eating. Would not vist again and would not recommend

Okay wow. The sourdough used in this pizza is made from a 15th century starter which is amazing! The food was excellent and the service was lovely. We loved the atmosphere too! Very reasonably priced. In fact, a restaurant of this caliber could charge more. A great find in Covent Garden. Will absolutely come back. I recommend the #4 with extra tomato sauce.

Casualmente di passaggio ho notato questa pizzeria e incuriosito sono entrato, staff cortese ed educato, locale non troppo grande, pizze con varianti particolari. Impasto morbido e soffice, per nulla gommoso. Ingredienti buoni e di qualità. Prezzi contenuti rispetto alla media della zona. Working in London means I visit Franco Manca fairly often. The pizza is delicious in all the branches but the staff in this branch are absolutely useless. Half empty restaurant as it was early and some staff were stood around day dreaming or on their phone instead of seeing if we wanted some drinks. We had to wave them down which was annoying as it was dead. Not a smile from any of the staff and quite frankly they all look p*ssed off to be at work. Try the Soho one, the staff are friendlier.

Mi pareja y yo fuimos a ver un musical y acabamos cenando aquí porque era de lo poquito que quedaba abierto cuando terminó. Las pizzas están muy buenas y a muy buen precio para ser Londres. Ponen todo el agua que pidáis gratis y los precios de cerveza y refrescos no son muy desorbitados, así que todo genial. Volvería sin duda

Came across this little gem on the way to table we had booked at another restaurant for lunch.

A cracking little place just off Covent Garden. We ate some seriously good pizzas straight from the wood burning oven. It was a packed Friday night on the August Bank Holiday weekend but service was speedy and efficient. The staff were charming, informal and friendly.

El servicio muy cordial, hay camareros que hablan español y las pizzas caseras (las de toda la vida), sencillas y sin estridencias. La masa fina y los ingredientes naturales. La ensalada muy completa con bacon, pollo, queso,... Para beber puedes pedir refrescos o cervezas al precio de restaurante español (carillos) pero ojo te sirven agua toda la que desees. Ojo a la carta de postres especialmente el tiramisú.Me encantan estos descubrimientos y sorpresas que a veces depara Trip Advisor.

We ate here before a trip to the theatre. The place has a good atmosphere and we were pleased they were able to accommodate us at short notice, especially given how busy they were. We were seated on the ground floor which appears to be nicer then the seating in the basement. Our pizzas were very good though we would have preferred a bit more cheese! A wider selection of pizza toppings would have also been better.

Visited this branch of Franco Manca on a recent visit to London on one of the hottest days of the year for a matinee theatre show.

Con la mia famiglia, in una settimana, abbiamo cenato tre volte da Franco Manca a Covent Garden. Ci eravamo documentati prima di partire ma alla prima visita aveva già superato le aspettative. Menù non molto ampio ma con prodotti di altissima qualità, pizza buona, veramente all'italiana. Personale, quasi tutto italiano, cortese e disponibile. Tempi di attesa davvero brevi. Prezzi onesti. Davvero consigliatissimo.

Abbiamo preso una margherita a 5.70 Pound e una più eleborata con zucchine mozzarella e pomodori gialli a 7.90 Pound.

Great pizzas, friendly staff, clean establishment! What’s not to love! The sourdough bases are perfect, as they don’t “bloat you” Dam tasty!

We visited here on a busy Saturday evening, wait times were around per 20-30 mins around 8pm. Located in Covent Garden, and part of a larger chain, their appeal is the Sourdough Pizza. Parking is available off street too but limited.

It’s my own fault for eating Italian while in a London. That being said this is only good if you’re looking for something filling at a low price. The pizza was doughy. The dough was mushy and way too soft. The mozzarella and pancetta was tasty though. The Aperol spritz was basically Aperol over ice. The salad was kinda bland, but edible. That being said there was a twenty minute wait so it must be somewhat popular at least.

Love this place, pizzas are so good. We had 30 minutes to order and eat as we were due at the theatre. We explained to the waiter and with no issues were all done on time! My only down side to their pizzas is the lack of toppings; they really are quite tight with their toppings but that goes for all of the restaurants, not just this one!

Tenía bresaola, berenjena, aceitunas y pan de ajo entre nosotros para comenzar y una pizza cada uno con un poco de cerveza. Buena comida y personal amable. We enjoyed a couple of lovely pizzas here accompanied with a nice bottle of rose wine prior to a matinee showing of 9 to 5 at the Savoy theatre. The staff were efficient and ‘on it’ with decent service. Would definitely return in the future.

We ate at Franco Manca last night prior to seeing Tina the Musical. Service was quick and courteous and the pizza was great - a really nice, soft base and tasty toppings with the spicy flavours that ai like. Good one Franco Manca.

Arrived early evening and fully booked we decided to wait and so glad we did.Taken downstairs which was well air conditioned .pizzas were delicious and bill for shared starter,two pizzas ,a green coke and a negroni was under 30 pounds.It was noisy,busy and crowded,with a lovely vibe .....what’s not to like ??

Slow service and orders that weren’t delivered. This place is way too busy for a good meal and we were ushered like cattle! Food was cold and plates cleared before we were finished. Really disappointed
