Very poor execution of one of your most expensive pizzas.

Serving rape seed oil in place of olive oil on the tables is a new low for me in an “Italian” pizzeria. When asked, they brought some extra virgin over in a little dish. Stingy all round !! Boooo

Everybody should come to this location, I SWEAR BY IT. Best pizza in Broadway market. The staff are amazing - sweet and caring and the food is banging.

The food was good, but I was disappointed to discover that the bill included already the "optional service charge". It's only after I paid I noticed it, and when asking why this was marked as optional when automatically added, the waitress rolled her eyes at me. It seems dishonest to me.

I love coming here with my family on Fridays as it is always a treat. The staff are friendly and the pizza is always delicious. My kids always get the children’s meals which are a very reasonable price, as the pizzas are almost the same size as mine! The place is sometimes a bit crowded but we never have to wait more than ten minutes to go in. Will definitely keep coming here!

The BEST pizza on Broadway Market, Hackney, London, perhaps the world? I'm a long time customer and return happily each week because the food is consistently delicious and the service is always welcoming. If you want a finer slice of life (and pizza) Franco Manca is the way to go!

My partner and I came in a few weeks ago on a Thursday evening. We experienced great customer service from a waitress, she came to check up on us multiple times and was very welcoming! Unfortunately we didn't catch her name and we wanted to leave a nice review but we came on the 16th of January at around 7:30 PM!

Such a lovely little spot, quick and easy pizzas with delicious food. David has been our waiter twice and he is the absolute best! Thank you very much

One of the men working here tonight immediately became confrontational towards me and clearly took great delight in telling me he was serving the people behind me first because my friend wasn’t right there in front of him when I had been queuing to be seated for 20 minutes, even though she had been there earlier. I’ve never encountered such a disgusting attitude from someone working front of house or left somewhere so quickly even after queuing. Customer service training is urgently needed.

David is the best, if only there were 6 stars 🤩 🤩 🤩 There you go.

I arrived and was told to wait 20 mins for a table, but they don't hold them for you. That's all fine. My friend and I went to the pub next door to wait for a table to become free. We returned about an hour later, my friend waited 20 minutes in line whilst I stayed in the pub (in case tables were still not available - understandable, no?) and when finally a table became free they refused to give it to her because I was waiting in the pub next door! Ridiculous way to run a business, and unnecessary rudeness. Go enjoy pizza in the Dove instead. 😊

Distracted staff talking in the back rather than taking orders/ serving ; took us 45 minutes just to order drinks ! Pizzas were quick once we were able to order. Wish the Amatriciana had a bit more sauce as it was on the dry side, but otherwise good.

David was phenomenally attentive. An absolute 5-star service that could not be beaten. The pizza was baked to perfection and the garlic dip made for a fitting and tantilising accompaniment. I WILL be returning.

The pizza was great, but what was even better was our delightful waiter David. I mean, what a guy. We shared laughter, deep conversations, and everything in between with him. Even if the pizza was awful, which it wasn’t, I’d go back just to see David again.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Franco Manca, and a huge part of that was thanks to David!!!!! From the moment we arrived, his warm and welcoming demeanour set the tone for an enjoyable meal. David went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, offering excellent recommendations from the menu and ensuring we were well taken care of throughout our visit. His attention to detail and genuine passion for providing great service truly stood out. It’s rare to come across someone so attentive and friendly, and he made our dining experience unforgettable. If you’re lucky enough to be served by David, you’re in for a treat! Vicky on the other hand, not so pleasant, loud uncomfortable to be around and not being nice to her staff. THANK YOU DAVID!

The waitress serving us the food was impolite and had an attitude when we had brought up the two incidents of her forgetting two of the items we had ordered. After having ordered, I had noticed while waiting for the pizzas that my drink was forgotten which I asked if she could bring it to me and then I asked if it was possible for some ice and lemon in a glass but she confused by my request. Then, the pizzas had arrived which were good as always but this time the mixed salad was not given. So we had to remind her of the order of the salad which she then went on to say that it was coming but we overheard her colleague “what salad did they order so I can make it now” . Also, we had noticed that other tables were waiting to be served for a while and that the waitress was making another customers salad while eating which I would say is rather unhygienic. Moreover, a couple had come in about being given the wrong pizzas (despite it saying the correct name on the box) to which that same waitress rolled her eyes and was not accommodating to her mistake which us humans make all the time :). The other colleague was friendly which is what you hope and expect when being served and paying for service charge. I have contacted Franco Manca’s a contact service so I will be waiting for a response to the complaint.

I ordered a couple of pizzas for collection at Broadway Market. When I arrived, I asked the waitress if the pizzas on the counter with my name were mine. She responded dryly and impolitely, “They are yours then.” When I got home and opened the boxes, it turned out to be someone else’s order. I went back to the restaurant to explain the mistake, and instead of handling it professionally, the waitress rolled her eyes at me and my partner and addressed the situation with unnecessary attitude. This could have been easily avoided if she had asked me what I ordered and double-checked, as I don’t work at the restaurant and wouldn’t know where to verify the order myself. The food was good, as always, but this experience was uncomfortable and completely unnecessary.

My pizza was shockingly quick. It was served with smile and best manners. I ordered pizza nbr 9 with smoked beef, grana wild rocket and capars. Beef quality. I loved every bite of it. Worth to go and try. Another good memory on the food map.

I’ve ordered from here a couple of times and it’s ok value for the non-vegan options but the vegan offering is disappointing. Adding £2.75 for vegan cheese is a bit of a scam given how little they actually add (once I thought they’d actually forgotten it but see photo for the standard anaemic amount).

Love franco manca , their gluten free pizza always hits the spot for me which is rare. Wine and deserts also lovely, staff here are great and full of smiles, shout out to Sam, he’s a legend

As usual, wonderful food for the whole family. Made extra special by Eimante, today, made aware by my kid that it was a special occasion we were out celebrating, and Eimante went the extra mile and a half to make it a lovely experience. Thank you!

Normally love this place but they cancelled my order 10 mins before it was due to arrive for no reason. Go here every month and the food is great but think they need better management to ensure they don’t accept orders they can’t fulfil and leave customers upset.

Kindness is the language the deaf can hear and the blind could see. In Francos manca the waiter is fluent for kindness. I bring my Niño (Fernando jr) for pizza. The waiter we have is Daniel of mustache. He is good to the boy who is having hard time with early onset diabete, he suggestes diet cola for sugar problems, I never think to this myself. Silly Lucho! Then we eat, we laugh, we remember. All the good time before divorce of his mother. Life is a flat circle, similar to pizza; we happy then we sad, then we happy again. Today was happy, today was pizza.

Con Luka y el personal al servicio de los clientes, y Giuseppe y su equipo en la cocina, siempre es un placer comer en Franco Manca! Sus pizzas son increíbles, con un montón de opciones, y siempre cambiantes especiales semanales. Hacen todo lo posible para que todos se lo pasen bien, llegando a dejar que una hija haga una pizza en la cocina para disfrutar.

With Luka and staff serving the customers, and Giuseppe and his team in the kitchen, it's always a treat to eat at Franco Manca! Their pizzas are amazing, with loads of choices, and ever changing weekly specials. They go out of their way to ensure everyone has a good time, going so far as to let or daughter make a pizza in the kitchen to enjoy.

I had a great experience at Franco Manca. The service was friendly and attentive, and the sourdough pizzas were fantastic with a perfect crust and fresh toppings. Highly recommended for delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere!

The pizzas are good, there is a variety to choose from and there are vegan ones. Children are welcome and there are colouring pencils and a quiz sheet.

I ordered pizza with my son, how can you sell pizza without pizza sauce? The worse pizza I ate and luck of ingredients. It’s dry as hell! They only put on the first bite so it’s there! 😂 horrible

Sadly it was via Uber eats. I called the restaurant and explained the pizza was not cooked properly and also the drink came warm. Painful working all week and rewarding yourself to a £20 treat only for it to arrive like that. Limer didn’t care less on the phone. Shame…

it was my first time physically dining at a franco manca branch and had such a lovely experience! great service with a smile and laugh despite them being very busy with takeaway pizzas because of the great weather. the branch had a huge board of specials of the week which included ones for vegans and vegetarians which caught my eye but properly struggle to make a decision on what to get. finally made a decision and got a #10 and my friend got a #7 and we were both dancing with delight in our seats over our pizzas. will definitely be back again!

The chicken salad was fantastic and fresh with a generous portion. Service was really friendly with Luca and Lirim being very helpful with the kids. Everyone else had pizzas and were happy with everything.

The girl that took order was friendly.The Aubergine parmigiana came out burnt and the male waiter forgot my salad then he brings out the wrong salad not the one that I ordered & a dirty look as if it was my fault he forgot my food 😩then he gets a young waiter dude to bring out the salad I ordered at this point, I did not even wanna highlight how Burnt my food looked. I thought maybe it would taste okay as I was starving, I was so wrong it tasted so burnt even the bits that weren’t burnt had a burnt taste, This is really sad. Also the waiter didn’t even come to ask how the food was as they normally would because quite clearly it wasn’t great! - to be honest I didn’t even wanna pay but I did!

Had a bad delivery the first time so wanted to try again thinking it was a one time thing, but this time both pizzas arrived cold, the dipping sauce was let behind, and the special pizza didn’t have all of the toppings on it. Probably ok if you’re eating in, but don’t waste your money ordering takeaway.
