Called in by myself to get something to eat whilst waiting for a friend. Ordered the curry. 3 pieces of chicken - I tell a lie, 3 and a half. Called waitress over, explained, manager? came also, looked at me almost as I was the one with a problem. Ordered veggie dish after to be safe. It was the total lack of explanation or apology got me. I was not expecting any money off, but it was almost like the 3 bits of chicken were all you were supposed to get! Wouldn’t eat here again.

Had a lovely evening meeting with friends until the group started. While the group playing was good it was so noisy we couldn’t talk. We tried to move to a different table but there were speakers everywhere and the music was blasting out everywhere. Lots of people moved away. We couldn’t wait for them to have a break so we could talk. Far too noisy.

Me and my partner decided to try the Four winds for Breakfast on a Sunday morning. When we got there the waitress came over and we ordered our Breakfast's. I ordered Portabello Mushrooms and my partner Eggs Benidict. We got a pot of tea while we were waiting. There were very few other people in. Four had there Breakfast in front of them. There was a couple, two Men and us waiting. after about 30 minutes, the Two Men got up and left. The couple and ourselves had not been served. We were finally served after about 50 minutes. This is quite a long wait for some Poached Eggs on Mushrooms with a Hollandaise sauce over them. Apart from that the Eggs were cold. We were not impressed. We complained at the Check out and they explained, that there was only one Chef on. It wasn't a very good way to encourage people to come for Breakfast. We wont be back.

Dined in collina cafe on Saturday night. Menu had looked good online. Found staff and food to be sub-standard. Were quickly seated and given menu by barman / waiter and drinks order taken. He initially brought my wine and a pint of beer but my husband had ordered a glass of water. He didn't apologise just returned with a pint glass of water. After he had brought the drinks he didn't come back near us. The place was very un-busy around 8pm. Eventually a waitress noticed the menus sitting and came to take our order. The guy had walked past us several times. Food came out really quickly. My lamb shank was fine but along with the mash and vegetables it was swimming in the 'jus'. However my husband's chicken curry was much worse as it featured only 4 pieces of chicken and a lot of chilli. Plates quickly taken away by the same guy who then asked if we wanted dessert to which we said 'no'. We then had to ask for the bill a good while later and the same guy then basically threw it on the table and walked on by even though my husband had his hand out to take it from him. We then left promptly and put the bill and cash on the counter on our way out. At no stage did any of the staff ask how our meal was. I don't really think they were interested. Wouldn't recommend or go back.

I took my two sons, one of whom has food intolerances, here on Thursday 5th April and was pleased to see that the Collina burger was gluten adaptable. He ordered the gluten free version but we were told ten minutes later that there were no gluten free burgers available as all burgers were pre-made and included gluten. I asked if the kitchen had some mince and could make him a fresh burger, but was told no, and the waitress was rather impatient and offered no alternatives as we decided what to do. My son decided to just have chips, which meant I had to make him lunch when we got home.

Was here on Friday evening. Two adults one child. Firstly service is absolutely grim. The staff need some customer service training and manners. The only reason I’m given it two stars because the dessert was decent. Main course was expensive and not great. This place should be the heart and soul of the community and doesn’t realise it!!!!

School out early so my Son and Daughter Hubby and I along with our 3 grandchildren headed to Four Winds for lunch. Recently refurbished it was very welcoming. Menu updated, reasonably priced, Staff on duty were more than helpful and attentive. Food delivered quickly was delicious Chicken Curry is a must to try. Like idea off kids playroom but TV wasn't on, definitely would need few more toys etc. Kids chairs and tables would need wee clean each night with antiseptic wipes. We parted with family and hubby and I went into bar for coffee, so cosy found a booth with a lovely log fire. All in all our visit was 1st class really could not fault a thing.

Dined on Sunday upstairs at The Grill with the family and was disappointed. All you see on the website is " best steaks in Belfast " yet there was only one choice - Sirloin( which nobody wanted ) and if you wanted steak on the set menu it was £8.50 surcharge. There were only 3 other tables eating yet the service was very slow from the kitchen. I ordered Deep fried Brie but half of it was still cold inside instead of melted. The steaks weren't bad to be fair albeit expensive. One ordered medium and one medium-no blood. On arrival they didn't ask who ordered what so the wrong people got the wrong steaks. All sides were extra and the chunky chips were just cut too big and not fully cooked through. Didn't fancy anything from the 3 desserts only on offer. The tiresome usual suspects that most mediocre places have - cheesecake, sticky toffee and pavlova. The 1980's are alive and well here.

Visited The Two Magpies bar at Four Winds for tea on Mothers day. The bar was busy, got served drinks quickly at the bar. Ordered Pork bon bon, Salt n chilli squid for starters both excellent. Mains were Crispy basil salted pork belly, parmesan potatoes and Salt and chilli chichen burger, rosemary salted fries. Once again superb. There was a guy on guitar really good. The bar has been totally transformed from the old tired sports bar to a really great place to eat, watch sport & enjoy good music.

We have been here many times for a couple of drinks in the past but have never eaten here. We were passing one lunch time and decided to call in. We had not booked but there was plenty of room. We got a table for four on a raised area near the bar and there was rugby playing on the TVs in the background. This wasn't distracting but created a nice atmosphere. The service was very good and the orders were placed at the bar. Three people in the party ordered burgers which came with fries and I ordered a chicken sampler dish....it was delicious. The menu was not huge as this was the bar area although there are other restaurants within the Four Winds serving other menus. Reasonably priced ... will definitely be back if passing near lunch time.

Firstly - I need to clarify that I really enjoy the Grill Restaurant at Four Winds (upstairs) - it's one of my favourite, with great staff serving great food and I'll continue to be a regular (5 stars). However - I had my first visit to the Collina Bar/restaurant (downstairs) since the refurb and was very unimpressed. Although a lot of time, thought and effort has been put into the changes - I'll personally not be rushing back. The overall menu is very disappointing and was a struggle for the family to decide what to order. My wife and I eventually opted for one of the evening Specials - an Easter trio of chicken/fish/prawn. Sounded appetising but not! The chicken was a type of 'chicken dipper', the fish was a 'battered' piece of fish and the prawn tempura was the type you buy in Iceland (or any other supermarket) - the dish was greasy and uninspiring. Special it was not.My daughter had the crispy Squid. She described it as soggy and greasy. My son had the Salt and chillie chicken burger. He said it was salty and nothing special. The restaurant certainly wasn't busy for an Easter Saturday - but it was still difficult to get staff attention. I think partly due to the layout but there were no staff particularly interested in how we were progressing (or not). All in all - disappointing.

Had a reservation for the Collina Bar/Restaurant on Saturday night past. Table booked for 8.30. On arrival we waited just a few minutes before being shown to our seats.I had already glanced at the menu online. Have to say we were both disappointed with the overall menu. A lot of fish appeared to be available and few burgers not much else in our opinion. My friend had the salt and chilli chicken burger which she said was okay. I chose from the small plates macaroni cheese and a side order of chunky chips. Now when they advertise this as a small plate believe me it is. Tasty, yes but value for money £6.00 not!!! We were there for the night and after dinner we chose to stay on for few drinks. Even though the bar/restaurant did not appear busy we constantly had to try and get a waiter's attention. Was bit surprised how many times we were served before the empties were actually removed from the table!!. Later in the night we were presented with out bill. Now I appreciate that the restaurant might want to be closing their till but we did not ask for it and no explanation was given as to why it was given to us. I know this is a minor detail but all part of customer service.Unfortunately I would not return or recommend. Sorry

I made a reservation online and assumed it was for Collina since there was an online booking link for Collina and not for the restaurant upstairs. We arrived and it took a while for our reservation to be retrieved, then we were informed our booking was indeed for the restaurant upstairs, but we could stay in Collina if we wished. We were given a table, looked at the somewhat limited menu, and decided to both play it safe and have burgers. The burger was nothing special, the fries resembled something from McDonald's and were extremely salty. The portion was small and as we were still hungry we both ordered dessert, cheesecake and chocolate torte. Both were lovely but very small for the price, which from memory was over a fiver. The decor has changed and I feel it's now a bizarre mix of restaurant and canteen. The waiting staff were perfectly pleasant but I saw one member of staff sit down regularly with a couple across from us (I assume they were her parents), which looked a little unprofessional. I don't think I'll be back in a hurry.

Hubby had the beef cheek which he said was a little disappointing. The cheek was minced through the potatoes and he has previously had cheek in one piece on mash which he said looked and felt more substantial The new decor is lovely as the wine bar was getting a little shabby. However I felt that the glass panel divider left us diners sitting in the lower part feel a little isolated. In fact I think the staff tend to forget about it as there was a table left uncleared for about 15 minutes after the diners had left. Having said that.... My wife and I have just returned from our first visit to the Collina wine bar since it was refurbished. We were very excited to visit since we have been really enjoying the new Two Magpies next door, which serves lovely food and has a great atmosphere. As soon as I arrived I found the new decor unappealing, the partitions split the bar into three sections, which just makes diners feel isolated from the rest of the bar. We had to be asked to be seated, despite the bar not being especially busy. We sat in the lower seats and noticed that the carpeted areas were filthy and looked old and stained already. Also the bar was cold, which may have been the result of a draft from the conservatory area. The menu was, quite frankly, bizarre, not to mention pretentious, and we both struggled to find something we wanted to eat. We had to ask for the specials menu since it was never presented to us nor was it displayed anywhere. We needn't have bothered, it was even weirder than the normal menu. Black pudding sausages? I opted for the club sandwich, which seemed to contain slices of pre-cooked chicken and bacon from a packet and it was drowning in mayonnaise. My wife had the grilled cheese sandwich, which was tiny and contained very little cheese! The bread was very thin which meant it just turned soggy immediately. The filling was just like a mush of onion and peppers with a smidgeon of cheese. Both sandwiches looked like a dog's dinner. Aside from being invited to order we weren't once approached by any member of staff to ask how the food was. Even when we paid the bill (at the bar since no waiters came near us) we weren't asked how our food was and my wife had to volunteer our feedback. Then there was the bill! £27 for two sandwiches, two orange juices and two cups of tea!!!For a bar/restaurant which has only just opened it was a terrible dining experience and it would take a miracle for us to return. Such a shame since it had so much potential and the Two Magpies next door is such a great spot.

Our first visit since the refurbishment . What a disappointment is the new Collina bar. To put it bluntly I don't know how they have managed to put so many unpalatable dishes on a single menu. We encountered friends who had already eaten and they were equally unimpressed. The two magpies bar has retained a small number of the original dishes from the old menu. Unfortunately , the portion sizes appear to have reduced, but prices have increased. We have eaten here regularly over the years, and indeed have a loyalty card. I think it is unlikely we will eat here again unless the menu changes . I will probably discard my loyalty card as well. It seemed fairly obvious that the staff were aware of the reservations about the new menus. We arrived shortly after 6pm and there was only a handful of people in both bars. Prior to the refurbishment in my judgment there would have been many more people eating in both bars.

A few minutes later another waiter (Paul) came out and told us he had a table for us inside so we moved inside. The rugby was on and the atmosphere was great and there was also a hen party going on but regardless the staff were pleasant and helpful. We ordered some snacks (3 for £10) and they came quickly and piping hot, just enough to keep us going until dinner. The only reason we tolerated the desert was because we went for the three course option, then it arrived! What can I say, the wife an I burst out laughing, our 9 year old could have presented the desert better. When we saw the size of the main course portions, we started to wish we hadn't ordered a starter! Very generous portion sizes and the quality of the food cannot be faulted. After celebrating a birthday with friends today I can honestly say the new refurb is fab and the management have got it right. The ambience in the bar from the friendly welcome, the cosy booths the high standard of cleanliness, the blazing fire , and a well designed menu that catered from a tasty pub meal, a light snack platter or afternoon tea catering for all walks of life or whatever the mood. Having tried them all I was quite impressed. The service was excellent we never had to leave our seats with all needs being very well observed by which I think is the manager Connor and Ryan the waiter. Used to be more of a regular here, sometimes food was really good. But today, with ten people in the restaurant, the food and service were pretty abysmal. There was a "special" chicken & chickpea curry on. The curry was just ok. The rice was so over cooked it was like porridge and water was oozing from the rice into the curry. A chef came from the kitchen and spent 15 minutes sitting at a table chatting to a customer. His time might have been better spent in the kitchen. The card machine wouldn't work and it took more than 15 minutes to pay the bill, which we eventually had to do in cash. I could have understood slightly better their impression of Fawlty Towers today had it been busy. But there were ten customers. Really unimpressed.

Arrived at the Four Winds around 7.15 the Two Magpies Bar was really buzzing. The new design is fantastic, lots of different styles of comfy seating and furnishings throughout the barWe opted to eat from the snack menu,Salt & Chili Squid was delicious, spicy crisp coating with perfectly cooked Squid, not chewy or rubbery very Morish. The Cheesy Basil Bread was very tasty & without a hint of grease.Michael's Chicken Wings, 3 Large wings with herb spiced coating, nicely cooked and very enjoyable. All three for £10.00 excellent value and quality. The atmosphere in the bar was brilliant, couples, hen party, birthday party and anniversary all going on at the same time.Staff very friendly and efficient. Well Done guys will be back!

Went to Fourwinsds with another couple of girls for a chat and something to eat. There weren't too many around on a Wednesday night so service was attentive and food good. Couple of bottles of wine and lots of chat later we noticed we were the only folks left by 10pm so felt we had to go - atmosphere lacking unfortunately.

We went to the Carolyn Stewart party night and had a three course meal as well. The food was amazing! I had garlic bread to start, steak sandwich for main and pavlova to finish. The steak was done to perfection and the onion chutney was absolutely delicious. The chunky chips were some of the best I've tasted. The entertainment was right up my street, 70s, 80, 90s and current chart music, we had a ball dancing! Can't wait to return!

Went here with my partner for lunch, our first time here and will not be the last. There were not many people in but it was a Monday... We were greeted by a pleasant girl and sat in a pue type seat, the surroundings were bright, modern and clean. We chose a dish from the menue of the day... He had roast loin of pork... Tender, well presented and plenty of it. I had a chicken and chorizo pie... Which was delicious. The pastry was not too thick, just perfect for me. Lots of chicken breast in the pie. Both dishes were served with roast potatoes and champ and a mix of fresh vegetables that were cooked to perfection. Very good size portion of everything. We both very much enjoyed the lunch. We did not have a sweet, but maybe next time. The prices was reasonable and good value. Can't wait to go back.

On our way home from a trip to Lisburn we were feeling peckish so my husband suggested the Four Winds as the parking is good. It was about 1:50 and we were worried they may have stopped serving lunch but there was no problem. We were quickly seated and given menus and our drink order taken. My husband ordered the burger which came with cheese, bacon and fries. He said he'd had better burgers but also had worse so average I suppose you would call it. I ordered the chicken curry. I like curry but I am very fussy about it so usually order with trepidation. This curry was the best I have had in a long time. Would definitely go back just for the curry. The waiting staff were very friendly, efficient and attentive.

This is a difficult to review to write as I am reviewing a restaurant that we didn’t book but ended up eating in, and that it why it has such a low score. We originally booked into The Grill at the Four Winds, but one hour before our booking, they phoned to say that due to a “computer glitch”, we had been allowed to book a table but actually the restaurant wasn’t open, but we could still have The Grill menu, but in the Wine Bar. We didn’t believe the computer glitch story. We’d booked online but as we arrived there were two ladies who had also been redirected, who were more of a booking on the phone age than a booking online age. Plus later in the bar, when I casually asked staff if The Grill was open, I was told “it was earlier but usually over the 12th fortnight they close early as they don’t get many people in”. So I suspect our booking wasn’t honoured as they didn’t have enough reservations to make opening worthwhile. So we were seated in the Wine Bar. When the menus arrived, we asked for The Grill menu as we had been told we could still order off that. The waitress looked sheepish and said that on a Sunday the menu there only is one steak. Looking online afterwards I found that this is true, but again is not what you expect of a restaurant that bills itself as the best steaks in Belfast. So again, disappointing. The Wine Bar is family friendly and on Sundays there is an entertainer until 4pm. By 6pm when we arrived, children were still running around all the tables. Two of our party have children and two don’t but none of us had signed up for a “family friendly” evening with children on the loose. So again the Wine Bar was not a substitute for what we had actually booked. The food was mixed. My chicken wings starter and linguine main were both lovely. The portion I got was great as was the portion of Sunday roast beef that my friend got. However the other two ordered lasagne. Either they were running out of lasagne or there is always a huge disparity in portion sizes – either way the portion were very small and the lasagne appeared to have been microwaved as it was hard round the edges. The service was peculiar in places. We ordered a bottle of wine and a jug of water. The waiter brought four water glasses but no water, and the wine bottle and two wine glasses–for four people. He looked genuinely puzzled and surprised when we asked for two more wine glasses and the water we’d ordered to pour into the water glasses. So that was our evening. In summary it was like eating in a restaurant in a caravan park in an episode of Father Ted. It was not a substitute for the meal we had actually booked but still cost us £130 with not so much as an on-the-house cup of tea to make up for how different our evening was. We had not booked into the Wine Bar originally and we will not in the future. We did book into The Grill but I am not sure we will again. There are other places in Belfast that sell steaks but do not mess you around so much.

Reviewed The Grill at Four Winds last year when we visited for our daughter's birthday and had a great meal. Based on our previous experience we decided to return again this year. Checked menus online, but found that the menu offered for The Grill was not as varied as last time, it was mainly steaks with only a few other choices. The menu for The Wine Bar offered a much greater variation so we decided it fitted our needs better and I made a booking online for 7.00pm on Sat. When we arrived the Wine Bar was quite busy with a few large parties. We were shown to a 4 seat booth, with a chair on the end. (5 of us dining) It would have been ok for 4 people, however putting in a 5th person made things quite tight. The waiter brought 2 menus. One was a 3 course choice for £20 per person, or 2 courses for £15. The other menu had the wine list on one side and on the other the menu I had viewed online. The waiter referred to the wine menu and then said that the 2 or 3 course deal was the only menu to choose from as the other menu finished at 6.00pm. This was news to me, so I checked with the waiter who came to take the drinks order. When I told him that there was no information on the web to say the bigger menu finished at 6.00, he said that this only applied on Saturday, so perhaps it was not mentioned. We reluctantly made our selections from the shorter menu and when the food arrived it was well presented and everyone seemed happy and enjoyed it. Two if us had a starter, and the remaining 3 were left to choose desserts. One of the choices was dessert of the day and this was displayed on a chalkboard on the wall, - Lemon Pie. When my daughter enquiried about this she was informed that in fact that had been yesterday's dessert and it was a different option, so disappointment again. Plates and glasses were speedily cleared from the table, which in some circumstances is a plus, however it did make things feel a bit rushed. We finished our meal and left, but I felt that compared to our previous experience of The Grill resturant last year, this was quite underwhelming and unlike last years impression it would not be likely to encourage me to return.

In last weekend watching the football. The Two Magpies bar was really busy (as you can imagine) We watched the match in the courtyard and then my wife was peckish and wanted to go into the wine bar to get a plate of lite bites or nibbles. Went in and sat down with our drinks and asked for menus. The guy said he'd be back in a minute. A lady then came over to ask if we had booked, i said no we're only after a quick bite. We were told this was not possible as they were fully-booked. This was at 7pm, there were just under 20 seats occupied and around 80 seats free with nobody in them. I pointed this out to the lady who was adamant she could not/would not serve us food at the table we were sat at. Pointed out to her the number of seats free and that we would be really quick, still no joy. In the end, we sat there with our drinks until 740pm. In the 40 minutes we were there, not one single person came through the door to be sat in their fully-booked restaurant. Went to Bengal Brasserie instead for a curry. They were fully booked, but made room for us and even gave us a few rounds of drinks at the end as they needed the table back while we were finishing our drinks. They treated us like royalty. Everytime i go to Four Winds there is some kind of drama or terrible service (see my other review) Never again. It's not purely down to the staff though, nobody in the place has a clue what they are doing. There is a distinct lack of management in the place. I was hoping after the refurbished the bar the service would improve, but no it's still the same.

We had a meal here with frieds on May Bank holiday Monday. The menu looked great for meat eaters but left the veggies in our group with one option. The meat eaters enjoyed their meals which was promptly served. The wine bar is like a throwback to American diners, or low budget all inclusive hotels in Spain. A revamp would drag it into the 21st century and a menu overhaul would making dining here a much more enjoyable experience for all.

The girl I was speaking too said casually, Carolyn had emailed that morning to say she would be on holiday on the Sat, not sure if I believed this, as I would imagine CS would be bound to give more than 4 days notice! We were all disappointed but kept the booking . I should have been contacted and told!Food selection was poor, service was poor, and staff quite rude re serving our table drinks when the DJ started. Chicken had been deep fried in same pan as fish, apart from the fact I am allergic to fish, the smell and taste for anyone who doesn't like fish was enough alone to send it back. When asked for a coffee at 10.30pm, staff informed us machines were turned off! This was my fourth time in past 2 years at this "CS" night but everything from food, and service to the Dj was disappointing.

Myself and my fiancé went for a late lunch today and we hadn't been to the four winds in ages so decided to go there as it is on our corner. The new style of the menu doesn't really go with the look of the place but the choices looked good, I got the burger and my other half got the chicken goujons. Our starter of nachos was the only nice thing about our food but how wrong can you go with crisps and cheese. When the food arrived the chicken goujons looked like something from Ireland's frozen food section and after a couple of bites of my burger tasting odd , I smelt the meat which had a terrible sour odour , it was either off or close to it. I didn't eat anymore of my meal as it was horrible and when the plates were collected they didn't acknowledge the uneaten food and proceeded to give us our bill. I wouldn't recommend here for food at all and will not be returning in the future.

Had a great experience in the Wine Bar. We were a party of 6 adults and 3 children (aged 3,6 and 8) and we had our Sunday lunch there after my daughter's first communion. We were the first diners there, at 12.30, and all the adults had the Sunday roast. Maybe that helped, but the food came out very quickly. The meals were lovely- just the right size with a very nice variety of veg. Everybody in our group enjoyed their meal. There is children's entertainment every Sunday between 1 and 4. I was worried that if it appealed to my eldest, it wouldn't appeal to my youngest, but that was certainly not the case. Fizz Wizz Pop was the entertainer that day and she did a brilliant job keeping all the kids entertained from start to finish, with face painting, balloon modelling and a magic show. The children's entertainment takes place in the conservatory off the main dining room so adults can relax and enjoy their meal, but still be able to see the children. Everything was reasonably priced, especially taking into account the free children's entertainment (also worth mentioning they have a loyalty scheme). The service was also very good. I will definitely be back!

The Four Winds also has an upstairs Grill restaurant and a downstairs Wine Bar - which was full of diners. Menus for both restaurants looked good and I intend to return to try them out. There's also a fabulous, spacious outside area called The Courtyard with lots of beautiful whicker furniture, heaters and more TV screens. Can't wait to try The Courtyard in the summer months - looks like a delightful spot to while away a few lazy summer evenings.

I've been to the Four Winds several times and it varies from average to really good. Never had below average or poor food or service. Today was the most recent visit. The staff are always unfailingly friendly and accommodating, even without a booking seating is always found, today was early, midweek and quiet, so no problem anyway. The outdoor courtyard seating is sunny but sheltered, perfect for dinner or drinks in the sunny weather. The food was very good, the salted squid starter with sweet chili dip with a side of rosemary fries; a perfect sized meal for me. The chicken burger had the same coating, not bad, but a different coating would maybe have suited it better. The fries were very good. The passionfruit (I think) cheesecake was great with a latte. A reasonably priced and tasty meal, with good service and enjoyable relaxing surroundings. A pleasant and friendly restaurant.

Turning into the carpark, my partner and I had high hopes for the frankly beautiful building and surrounding view, the perfect setting for our anniversary dinner. However, no sooner had we entered the building than our experience began to turn sour. We were greeted by three bouncers who were admittedly friendly enough and held the door for us. When we made our way into the wine bar we were unfortunately received by no one despite the fact that several floor and bar staff were milling around and didn't seem particularly busy. We were unsure as to whether we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated which should never be the case as in most establishments there is adequate signage to advise whether or not to wait. Eventually we were led to a booth in the centre of the rather loud restaurant, despite the fact that there were couples tables free in a quieter spot. Regardless we sat down, on the ripped seat, and proceeded to wait for staff to take our order. And wait. And wait. It took an abnormally long time for us to be even offered a drink, to the point that we had chosen our two course meal in this time. One of the only saving graces about this restaurant was our pleasant waitress (we think Jenny) who never failed to serve with a genuine smile even though she was rushed off her feet as she seemed to be the only member of floor staff doing any real work. She brought us our drinks immediately and soon after presented us with our starters (sweet potato and chilli soup and chicken strips). These starters were well presented and tasted good but fell short of what we had expected when walking up to the doors and for the price of the set menu. Very soon after our starters our night began to decline. After our plates were taken away it took a while for us to be given our mains. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, however conversation was made almost impossible by the ridiculously excessive noise as different parties struggled to be heard over each other. The mains arrived and looked very well presented, however the standard of the food was again sub-par. Our immediate trepidation was with the realisation that our pulled pork stack was served with brown sauce as opposed to the traditional barbecue sauce. However we were too hungry not to persevere and made it someway through the disappointing "food" on our plates. Around halfway through our main both my partner and I were in need of a refill. Alas, trying to attract the attention of any floor staff was fruitless as they all seemed terribly busy all of a sudden and completely avoided eye contact. Therefore I was forced to leave my meal and ask for drinks at the bar. When I arrived at the bar, I was greeted by a friendly barboy, I would say man but he seemed underage. This boy seemed happy enough to get my drinks however seemed rather lacking in the adequate knowledge to serve drinks as after asking me to repeat my order (soda water and lime) several times he provided me with tonic water and lime instead which my partner did not drink. Another note on the bar: as I had just settled back to my meal another member of the bar staff appeared to swiftly and distantly set before us yet another round of drinks that I hadn't ordered. He had left the table before we even looked up to realise what had happened. Confused we informed our waitress who quickly apologised and took the drinks off our hands. It was at this moment we decided to give up on the rubbery pork and overly salted chips and no sooner had we pushed our plates away, than we were greeted by a man carrying a drink, clearly a patron, who was in search of a seat for himself and his partner. Rather taken aback by the rash request to sit opposite us in our booth we quickly declined and informed him that we were not finished. Earlier during our meal we had watched as floor staff and bouncers removed tables and so we were very confused about the lack of organisation. While this rude interruption can not be entirely credited to the establishment, it is our opinion that had adequate floor staff been available to those waiting at the bar for seats, this would not have happened. Earlier during our visit, we had watched as several customers took it upon themselves to find seats as they had been standing abandoned by staff, at the door. Our plates were taken from us without any inquiry into how our meal was, despite the fact that more than half of it was still on our plates. We were offered a dessert menu which we quickly declined and received our bill instead. It was at this stage that we informed our waitress about the mix up in drinks which she very swiftly deducted from our bill with her sincere apology. We were forced to go to the bar to pay our bill as no one appeared to let us pay. As we stood waiting to pay, we watched as, what we assume was a manager, stood by talking to one of the staff members and ignoring us. He eventually took our bill without so much as a word in our direction and continued his conversation with this girl. Eventually we got round to being able to pay our bill, however we were still not asked about our meal or evening in general. As we left, we were once again hounded for our table showing once again the lack of organisation in this establishment. We gladly gave up our table and escaped the, if possible, louder restaurant. It seems a shame that such a beautiful location is going to waste on such poor food, poor service and the resulting poor evening.

Visited today for sunday lunch. Friendly staff, great selection of food and brilliant service. They also cater for children with a craft table- great idea. Will definitely be visiting again!

Had a relaxing lunch at the Four Winds. The food and service was excellent. Staff really friendly and nothing too much trouble. We didn't have any children in our party but would recommend this restaurant for families. They had a kids craft table set up and someone there to supervise children making crowns etc. This allowed their parents to relax. Keep up the good work.

I had a perfect evening at the Wine Bar with my partner. The staff were very friendly and did there job without being too intrusive. The food was delicious, my partner and I could hardly move after. Love this little gem tucked away in the outskirts of town. Very welcoming and lots of variety.

I went to the Four Winds on New Years Eve on 31/12/14. This is a local bar for my partner and his parents. We went to the Four Winds wine bar after dinner to see the new year in. On arrival it was busy and we were happy to stand by the bar and drink. When we finally got the chance to order our drinks (the bar wasn't terribly busy and there was a lot of staff on) we asked for 3 beers and 1 cocktail.. My partners mother is in her 60's and wanted a cocktail to end her night. We were told by the bar man "Do you realise how long cocktails take to to be made?" He then went on to say how busy he was and that if we wanted a cocktail to come behind the bar and make it our selves then we heard him rudely taking the Micky out of us to his other bar staff. We were willing to pay the price for these over priced cocktails and to buy more drinks through out the night. Because of the rudeness of the bar staff at Four Winds. We will not be retuning again, we have told our friends we met later that night, the rest of the family and will not be bringing my family from New Zealand anywhere near this bar. By far the rudest bar staff in Northern Ireland. Please raise your standards and hire friendly and welcoming staff.

Called to get book for my grandson and few gifts and of course the much needed coffee. The shop is always immaculate as should be. Husband got boots at reduced cost. Pleasure to visit this centre, lov
