If you want just a coffee don’t bother, I rate places by their friendliness to everyone, awful place , I’d had a really tiring journey and just wanted a coffee, got told there was at least a 20 minute wait very rudely by lady at coffee machine last Sunday, rest of staff looked embarrassed . Oh and just to make things difficult they have an ikea style layout but with no shortcuts so you have to weave your way round the whole of the place to get in and out, I was really sad as I used to live locally years ago. ( lovely lady at prey a mange in moterway services was lovely and gave me a free coffee when she saw how stressed I was but this was an hour and a half later.

Very annoyed that the restaurant waitress allowed a dog in the restaurant and on the seat next to its owner, there is clearly a dog friendly area on the other side, but they were not asked to move. Not everybody is a dog lover, and I am sick and tired of them having to be everywhere, especially food establishments, it’s very unhygienic. I am right in thinking if it were a child, and there was a child friendly area, they would have been made to sit in the child friendly area? When I asked the waitress for a manager to speak to, she told me the manager wasn’t available. Ruined an otherwise nice time.

A beautiful, spacious, spotless and well organised store with in-store home items, clothing, luxury and special products. Although a tad pricey, one can expect unique items and top quality. Toys, confectionery and very nice cards are available. The outdoor entertainment area offers excellent garden furniture, barbecues and more. The garden centre has a good selection of plants and outdoor gardening/landscaping goods and tools. David Moore butchery is located near the foods. It is an excellent butcher with top quality meat. There is also a very nice indoor restaurant and playcentre for children. Parking is plentiful and spacious, although it is a popular centre. Convenient to nearby Aldi too. Highly recommended.

Unfortunate experience in soft play whereby an older child punched my toddler in the face, then repeatedly kicked me in the stomach as I tried to help my son out of the play equipment. The soft play manager lacked the training and capability to manage the situation, so sadly we were forced to leave as it wasn’t safe for young toddlers to play on this occasion. Aside from the assault the soft play is always clean and the caregiver seating environment is quite pleasant compared to many soft play centres.

Huge garden centre which was very beautifully merchandised. Cafe had some quality food but if you sat in the main bit you had table service, but if you sat outside you had to go to a till point and order which was hard work because there wasn't anyone on the till and when we found someone it was a bit of a debacle trying to order something as the till didn't quite match what was on the menu. And if you want cake you get it first and then sit at a table to order a drink? I'm glad it wasn't that busy or I think we would have given up. Also I think £12.95 for some gem lettuce and a bit of goats cheese and one bit of beetroot cut into quarters was a bit steep. My husband's quiche looked great though!

53 of us descended on the centre yesterday afternoon..21st May, after a lovely coach trip around the Cotswolds villages. We had the most AMAZING afternoon tea ever! Tracey the Restaurant Manager and Debbie the Head Chef looked after us so well, and couldn't do enough for us. The food was perfection, and all of us agreed. Then a wander round the rest of the centre...well the choice was overwhelming, and prices quite reasonable. They replied saying they had a cleaning job for Saturday and Sunday 2 and half hours each day £12 an hour. I’ve turned up and both days only been given an hours work !!! Why advertise a 5 hour weekly job if it’s going to be only 2 hours? To make matters worse when I’ve quit because of finding a much better more hours job, the people who hired me have refused to pay me and have blocked me ! I am outraged at how rude these people are ! Was a lovely garden centre but sold to a chain, now you run the gauntlet of "gifts and clothing" to get to the garden stuff. The staff seem miserable, if you want something only certain people can help, unlike before where the staff could help with most things and products they used to stock no longer available. Use it now if I'm desperate.

Very disappointing visit to the restaurant, I have visited many times over a few years, in the last 6 months it has been very hit and miss, but today will sadly be my last visit! Claims to be table service, yet no menus available, took a seat, took 10 mins for someone to notice I was even there, another 5 mins for someone to find a menu,.waited 10 mins for someone to take an order, my granddaughters food of beans and cheese arrived very quickly along with her drink, my tea arrived after 5 mins but no scone, jam and cream, I waited and waited and waited, then go fed up of waiting so decided to leave, I stopped at the coffee/till point and asked for a refund for the missing items, I was then told you have to collect your own items, ok, so why ask my choice of jam and scone and not mention that I had to collect myself, also crisps missing from order, maybe I had to collect them too? Are you table service or self service? Either way please make it clearer, I appreciate it was busy, I work in hospitality, so understand the pressure, but if your system isn't working, from time it takes to get someone to serve you, to items arriving is in excess of 40 mins, your system is failing.

Just the facts here. Table service, without being allocated a table. Which means that you find a table, wait half an hour whilst they serve people who have just arrived, as there is no queuing system and they can't easily identify people waiting to order. I also saw food being delivered to tables that still had dirty crockery from previous occupants. If it were France there would be a riot. Here we just accept it.

I find that since you have taken over bearing in mind I am a local, that your plant prices have rocketed. I mean a cucumber plant £6-99 the same for a small tomato plant. unless the prices come down or you have a tray of 4 for that price I shall for plants be taking my custom elsewhere. This country is trying to encourage people to grow there own veg, with prices like that how can they afford to do it. I saw this garden centre start up from a small poly tunnel to what it was before it was taken over by Blue Diamond. I would like to say though that the staff are very helpful and we know it is not them who set the prices.

It's great having such a well stocked garden centre so close by in Moreton. The butchers is a real highlight and the new owners have invested substantially in the plants area - the displays and choices are excellent. I have one gripe though...forcing your customers through a defined path at the beginning, as if it's a motorway service station, does not create a good first impression. This is even worse when trying to navigate racks of clothing and tight corners with any of the larger garden trollies - and very frustrating trying to do this when the store is busy! Please reverse this annoying layout and/or provide adequate space for trollies in the garden area itself, so those of us who want to just buy plants and compost can pick a trolley up there.

Where are the siku toys and cars?? The whole place has lost its soul. Do the bosses not realise that getting rid of the toy section means there is no pull for parents/grandparents and families to come to the centre and spend money? An absolute mistake. And as for the funnel system through the dated clothes section… this whole place needs a rethink. Such a shame. It’s used to be so good.

Having been a customer for years I am sad to say the food isn't anywhere near as nice as it used to be. Our breakfast was a disappointing mix of foods at different temperatures, over cooked bacon and black pudding, cold toast. It looked and tasted like food that had been prepared quite some time before, perhaps kept warms until ordered. It was like a budget hotel breakfast. Sad as it had a home cooked vibe we loved. We also ordered a babychino and were served a normal size cup of boiling hot milk which is so very dangerous (and impractical) for the small children they are for. I always check the temp but I worry someone might not. Staff were very helpful, it was clean and tidy. I'd be back for a coffee and cake but I doubt much else. They have also adopted a frustrating IKEA style entrance forcing you to zigzag round plants and clothing before you can access toilets, butchers, play barn, Cafe. Seriously frustrating when you're disabled or using crutches. The shop and product range looked great. The new makeover is very nice.

My husband and I brought my elderly mother here in September. She lives in Moreton and likes nothing more than a mooch around a garden centre and a coffee and cake! They were very busy, in the middle of a refit and getting all their Christmas trees etc out on the shop floor. We had food in the cafe which was very nice and then on the way out Mum decided she'd like to buy a new Christmas tree. She chose the one she wanted and the staff were all very helpful in finding it in the stockroom and bringing it onto the shop floor so we could pay and take it away - Mum doesn't drive so took advantage of us visiting with the car. Fast forward to mid Decemberish when Mum wanted to put her tree up and found that one of the connections to work the lights wasn't working. She called Fosseway and they couldn't have been more helpful, in fact they sent someone to her home to try and fix it. When they couldn't they returned to the store and then back to Mum's with a new part and hey presto....her new tree was fully lit! I'd just like to say thank you to all involved for going above and beyond to help Mum. What wonderful staff you have 😄

Shocking service I don't normally review While doing a small tour of the area and having stopped at the close several times we decided to stop there for lunch that was a wasted 45 minutes We Sat in the garden got ignored for around 10 minutes in the end I went inside to ask for menus i had to stop a waiter to ask as i was continually ignored as staff walked past never asking can I help you I took the menus outside 2 visits from a waiter to another table again never looking around or asking would we like to order a some time later a second waiter appeared at the wooden station again no acknowledgement whatsoever we then decided we were wasting our time we really should not be trying to chase some service the staff here need some desperate training even a comment of I will be with you shortly would have been great ! And acceptable ! We returned to painswick for some great service and had lunch there But it's nice to see the close is doing so well they don't need to worry about lost custom

Excellent service and food. We visited the restaurant twice during a 4 day stay as we enjoyed the food so much. We shared starters on both occasions: chicken ( Kai satay) , king prawns with honey glaze ( king sadung nag ) , fresh muscle stir fry with chilli ( hoy chaow reua ), papaya salad ( sum tum ), vegetable tempura ( phak satay ), mixed veg stir fry with garlic and oyster sauce ( phad phak ruam mit)
