Visited April 2024. Lovely food and served quick. Everything nice and fresh. The only thing I’d like for the shop to do is to mention it costs extra to have the sides (chips/rice) separately mentioned somewhere on the menu. It works out a bit of a pain if you’re. It expecting it!

Amazing place to get food from, the lunch time menu deal is top notch and have been coming for years, the foods great and staff are great and food is always fresh and warm.

the service here was appalling, we have been ringing for 47 minutes and no one has picked up! I am so disappointed as i have been living in morpeth for nearly 10 years and this is the first time i went! I think there reputation is from 10 years ago!

Great place, so popular. They rarely have time to answer the phone. Doesn't matter though, only takes about 7 or 8 minutes for food, always good quality and price is way less than anywhere else I know. Easily feed 5 people on 25-30 quid. Don't be fooled though the quality is there.

This it the very best Chinese I've every used and I love it, wouldn't go anywhere else, Michael is so helpful and friendly and the prices are very reasonable,affordable I think for a lot of people, especially in these bad financial time we are all experiencing. would recommend without hessitation

Was working fitting out Pleased to meet you and fancied something hot for dinner so gave it a try........what a result! Fantastic quality at a great price.

Having only lived in Morpeth for 6 months, we put off getting Chinese/Cantonese food from a street van in a car park - what a mistake!! We thought we would try it out as there was always queues there so something must be good. We phoned our order in and collected 20 mins later, the food was hot, freshly made and absolutely yummy - the staff were extremely friendly and so well organised. We have been back quite a few times now and never been disappointed . Excellent !!

Great food for a great price as always. House special chow mein was delicious, House special with mushrooms was lovely but not as flavoursome as usual. I did however go at 7:30 to find an extensive queue and had quite a wait to place my order. I must have only waited 5 minutes max for my food though. The popularity of this place is enormous, the bloke must be a millionaire. Nothing was putting people off joining the ever growing queue. Any trip to Morpeth should include a visit to Fortune Cookies.

The best Chinese meals prepared for miles. No other Chinese takeaways are as good in my opinion. Very popular for good portions, value for money, good menu selection, Michael's friendly efficiency and delicious meals. Favourites are beef in black bean sauce and chicken chowmein.

Regularly travel from Newcastle to order from here.

Doesn't look much but this small shack produces some of the best Chinese food in Northumberland. I can highly recommend the salt and pepper chicken (can be a bit hot).. Or the king prawns chilli and garlic. Michael is a great guy and if you phone up, your food will be ready between 10 and 20 minutes. It can get busy at peak times so best to phone in. Only down side is there's no delivery service!!
