Our group of 10 people from a “Cake Club” had a really enjoyable afternoon tea and canal boat trip on 19 June. Andy and Caroline were very friendly hosts. The afternoon tea was delicious. The food was fresh, tasty and varied. Caroline was an excellent host….attentive but not intrusive. The canal boat trip was delightful. We journeyed effortlessly from Dunhampstead to just past Hanbury Wharf and back, which is an interesting and peaceful section of the Birmingham to Worcester canal. It included going through Dunhampstead Tunnel. Andy and Caroline rolled up the “windows” before we set out, as it was a sunny afternoon. We felt close to nature and were fortunate to see a family of swans and a heron, as well as ducks and moor hens in the reed beds. We all really enjoyed the trip and would certainly recommend it. 9 of us spent a great afternoon, cruising along the Birmingham- Worcester canal on the beautifully equipped Patricia narrowboat. As we chugged along, we were treated to a gorgeous & generous selection of finger sandwiches, & homemade cakes & unlimited real tea & fresh coffee. Amongst the lovely countryside, with ducklings, cygnets, grey heron & lush wildflowers, we spent a very peaceful & relaxing afternoon, the quiet only broken by our cries of delight as we tucked into the gorgeous afternoon tea, & our laughter. Excellent value, lovely hosts & a great way to relax & simply enjoy the area, whilst treating our taste buds. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend.

To kick start husband’s 70th Birthday celebrations we booked the narrow boat for” The fizz and nibbles” evening. Everything was wonderful. The boat is spotless . The food which was much more than “nibbles” was beautifully presented and plentiful and Caroline was the perfect hostess. Andy was at the helm navigating the boat on our trip on the canal. We took our own fizz but glasses were supplied and we were offered tea and coffee. The whole experience was excellent value and it was lovely to do something different with our friends and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Would highly recommend the evening.

Beautiful little spot right by the canal, staff are super friendly and welcoming. We had a little stick race from the bridge and will defiantly be coming back 🍰☕️ Dogs welcome and they even gave ours a little biscuit.

My Mum and I spent a lovely afternoon aboard the canal boat, 'Patricia' on a Mother's Day Afternoon Tea Canal Cruise. We were very well looked after by Caroline & Andy. Caroline served us with the most amazing afternoon tea. She had baked beautiful cakes, scones & afternoon tea treats, including some delicious homemade sandwiches. She was a perfect hostess throughout the cruise. Everything was of the highest quality with great attention to detail. The boat itself was spotlessly clean inside and very well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed a two hour cruise on the Worcester to Birmingham canal taking in the local scenery. We would definately recommend this canal trip, it was the perfect way to spend an afternoon.

Freshly prepared tasty food. Definitely a little gem behind EUFC. Lots of parking. Eat in or take away. But if you've time enjoy the sunny patio.
